Stayed at the hotel a month ago, traveled alone, primarily for surfing. Very peaceful and beautiful place with Moroccan/Mexican atmosphere. Rooms are great as well as room service. A lot of surf schools nearby. Unfortunate thing was that for the majority of days only one restaurant was available, however there are overall 3 which were closed. Great professionals working at the reception, to mention Marco and others who helped to navigate through the property.
One very disappointing instance however was with the lady Nina, who is supposed to accommodate and inform clients about the tours and different sights. After approaching Nina I was surprised and disappointed by how Nina treated guests, with the phrases "you are wasting my time" and passive aggression. This really left a bad impression on the general level of integrity and respect that the hotel staff is not supporting.
In general would recommend for those willing a peaceful vacation or who come to surf and want certain level of comfort. Would recommend educating the employees mentioned on customer service. And if you want to book tours around it is better to organise this externally and in advance

We flew from Vancouver, Canada leaving 1am on a Saturday, connecting at Toronto, and then Newark landing in Tenerife around 7 am, Monday. We arrived at the Europe Villa Cortes hungry, sleepy, and very tired. The hotel offered us a, "comfort room" totally furnished until our room was made ready. This kindness was just the beginning of the superior service we received from the staff. The breakfast buffet is a cornucopia. The staff knowledgeable about my wife's lactose intolerance quickly made suggestions to ensure her health. One morning we had a ridiculously early pick up for an all day tour of the island. Mentioning this to the staff allowed them to prepare a full breakfast very early for us. Moreover, the food was delivered, "white cloth" and early enough for us to fully enjoy. We also had to leave around 7 am to catch our flight to La Palma. The staff prepared a "picnic" for us to take. We are Japanese and always yearn for true sushi and flawless sashimi wherever we travel. The staff's suggestion for Restaurant 88 in nearby La Caleta was most worthy -Japanese food almost the way mom made it. Sushi chefs in Japan spend 2 years of their apprenticeship just learning how to flavour and cook sushi rice. Just don't take Uber - we did not need a limousine. We have used Uber in several countries but the cost of Uber in Tenerife exceeded the cost of our meal which was no small amount - a concession we were informed of Uber being allowed to operate in Tenerife. Location in Playa de America is excellent with shops, restaurants, beaches nearby.
The rooms are spacious and very nice and the amenities complement the price of the accommodation. The rooms, however, are not 5 star.
If you are travelling to another island take the ferry. We flew but it takes 30 minutes to get to the airport, 2 hours at the airport, and then 40 minutes flying time. The ferry is right next door and it is not expensive and the fast, "cat" takes 30 -40 minutes.

Just returned following one week as a solo traveller, garden room which overlooked mature gardens and pool, room was spacious, comfortable and well maintained, housekeeping excellent and supplied daily with regular towel and linen change. Breakfast plentiful and well prepared, staff hard working, well presented and approachable. Will hopefully return and highly recommend location Central with easy access to coast road

We had a great stay! The only hiccup was on the first morning when construction work began at 6 a.m. on a nearby building, and we could hear constant banging. I reported it to reception, and there was no noise on the following mornings. I’m not sure if this was because the hotel staff spoke to the construction workers, but if so, that’s what I call going the extra mile!
The room was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was great, though the toaster took forever to grill the bread—I had to put it through five times! However, this didn’t ruin the experience.
The hotel staff were very nice and helpful throughout our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, away from loud music and parties. I also highly recommend booking Taste 1973—it was an amazing experience.
Thank you!

Sad to be leaving here after 8 amazing nights!! What a hotel! I felt tearful on arrival of how grand and beautiful it is not only on the outside but the inside too! Love the feel and atmosphere. You feel like you’re in Mexico. 😊 from arrival the service of the staff has been exceptional.
The staff are attentive and friendly , we had booked a couple of our day trips out via the reception staff and it was an easy experience inc how fast the taxi arrives to the hotel. As it is on the corner of “the strip” it’s super easy to go out at night and experience the nightlife of Tenerife all whilst being close by to your hotel!
The food is also fabulous the variety on offer at breakfast has anything and everything. I loved to watch the chefs prepare the eggs and omelettes etc the pool is gorgeous and relaxing lots of space , very close to the beach with the beach bar connected. I honestly could write and write about how good this holiday has been and a large proportion of that is down to this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
