Review for Meliá Jardines del Teide
We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Meliá Jardines del Teide, and it exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional—welcoming, attentive, and always eager to help with a smile. Their dedication truly elevated the entire experience.
The hotel itself is spotless, with every corner maintained to perfection. The attention to detail was evident everywhere, from the beautifully landscaped grounds to the immaculate rooms and shared spaces.
One of the highlights was the food. The variety on offer was simply outstanding, catering to all tastes with fresh, delicious options every day. From themed dinners to breakfast spreads, every meal was a delight. The beverage choices were equally impressive, with a fantastic selection of cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic options available throughout the day.
The pool area was another standout feature—spacious, relaxing, and pristine. Whether you’re looking to lounge with a drink or take a refreshing dip, it’s the perfect place to unwind and soak up the sun.
Overall, Meliá Jardines del Teide offers a top-quality all-inclusive package that is worth every penny. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious, relaxing, and well-catered getaway. We can’t wait to return!

What a shame. Stayed at Meliá Jardines del Teide numerous times over the past few years.
Bar staff superb manager Jerome and his staff made my stay.
Unfortunately, reservation staff completely unreasonable and shorted sited. Tried to cancel and re book two weeks later due to flight issues, hit with no comprise EUR 470.00 penalty.
Restaurant quality of food choice has dropped to below 4 star. No variation same bland re heated food.
Pool dated through from the 80s needs renovation
Avoid your money is better spent proper 5-star hotels 100 yds away.

In a 5 star hotel I don't expect to ask for the missing face cloths every day. I don't expect to beg for extra coffee capsules, or cotton buds. I don't expect a sticky floor that hasn't been washed for at least 5 days. I don't expect the bed linen not changed for the past 5 days. I don't expect the terrace that has never been cleaned at all.
I do expect a distributor for free water even in the restaurant: don't they care about environment??
I don't care their way to say thank you by putting a hand on their chest at the heart level: feels (and is) fake and patronizing.
It's just not quite worth it.

Arrived around 11.30 pm after a long day travelling. The Male receptionist insisted on taking me to my room, which I appreciated rather than me trying to find it from the map. A plate of cold meats and cheeses was available in the restaurant. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Fridge and safe are free under AI. The complex is fabulous. It is absolutely stunning and everywhere is kept spotlessly clean. Lifts or stairs are available from level 5, which is restaurant and reception down to -1, which is the pool area and well-being centre. The food was ok. As with most AI buffets, it could have been hotter...main problem was no labelling, although staff were happy to help. A couple of evenings I had quite a wait for service for some water as they start clearing away tables before 9pm to reset for breakfast even though it's open until 10pm.
All staff I met were pleasant and cheerful, and couldn't do enough for you.
The complex demands amazing views but the downside is it does sit on a hill. It is an easy walk into town or the beach..around 15 minutes. A bit longer coming back up the hill.
Entertainment from 7.30pm every evening .
In summary, I had a fabulous relaxing break and would definitely return.

We had a fabulous 11 nights stay over the Xmas and Newyear. Our Jr Suite exceeded our expectations. It was well equipped with a comfortable bed and bed linens.
All personnel that we had been in contact with were absolutely fabulous, very efficient and super friendly. Special mention should be made about all personnel in The Level breakfast room and reception. Also the personnel in the Retama lobby bar were very efficient.
One suggestion for improvement we would like to mention is that the wines available per glass in all locations were of rather poor quality in our opinion. Fortunately for us we met Carlos who introduced us to some good quality wines that we could purchase per bottle. As we were a party of 4 wine loving persons this was very welcome and appreciated.
The Old Years night partly was well organised with a very nice African show, except that the DJ was not up
to mark and did not cater for the guests of mostly middle aged people who would like to dance to good music. Most people left the partly shortly after midnight.
We would certainly recommend this hotel.
