We have enjoyed our stay here.
They gave every woman a flower the next morning after our arrival.
The room is clean and well presented.
The staff is friendly, polite and helpful.
On my husband's birthday, he got a bottle of champagne, a chocolate cake and a note with beautiful wishes, that were a nice surprise to us, when we returned to the hotel late at night from a trip.
Drinks were well made. I paid for some that are not free included on the menu.
The Grill bar and Rio restaurant serve tasty food as well. Plenty of snaks, fruits, drinks during the day by the pool.
A good pianist played live at breakfast on 2 days of our stay. There was live music on one evening: a singer and a guitarist performed about 3-4 hours
The central restaurant is in a good location that you can have a romantic dinner in the sunset.
Good place for appropriate price.

Beautiful setting and very nice rooms. Facilities are great. However the food is extremely disappointing. Luckily we didn’t do all-inclusive, and only had breakfast as well as trying lunch at the Grill. If you enjoy food that comes from frozen, from a can or full of preservatives maybe you’ll enjoy the food. The coffee is terrible, there is one machine you eventually find with actual real coffee beans that is half decent. The scrambled eggs are dry and crumbly, I don’t even know if it’s real eggs. Nothing seems to be homemade, it looks and tastes like it comes out of a box from the freezer of a supermarket, and not even the good kind. I think you’re far better off spending the money eating out in town. The staff is friendly although I get the idea that no one really knows what they’re doing, it doesn’t seem like anyone is in charge, resulting in tables that aren’t set and guests trying to ask for knives and forks. I also don’t understand why you would be playing music through speakers in the hallways outside the rooms until 10pm? The price quality ratio in terms of August prices is really not worth it.

**Review: AP Cabanas Beach & Nature**
Having not travelled abroad since before the pandemic, I was understandably apprehensive about taking a trip. However, my stay at AP Cabanas Beach & Nature turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The cleanliness of the place and the cheerful, helpful staff were noteworthy. The room was clean and met our needs adequately.
The pools were quite cold, and the main pool was often taken over by seagulls, resembling a bird bath more than a swimming pool. Luckily, the indoor pool in the spa area made up for it. We had the spa to ourselves most of the time, which was absolutely amazing!
The food at AP Cabanas Beach & Nature was good, though it could have been better. Being a fish lover, I enjoyed fish dishes every night. However, the meat was tough, and as a result, I found myself sticking to a pescatarian diet throughout the stay.
I'll just add that the pianist at breakfast was lovely, but one evening during dinner, I swear they were playing rave music! You should have seen the faces of some diners.
The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help organise trips to town, the beach, and the shopping mall, which was very convenient. The only downside was the bar staff, who seemed to need more training, in my opinion.
Despite these minor issues, we had a wonderful time, especially as it was our first trip to Portugal. This all-inclusive holiday at AP Cabanas Beach & Nature has definitely encouraged us to consider more adventures in the future.

Great stay.
Friendly staff. Food was delicious.
Efficient cleanliness.
Hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere, quite a residential area.
Would stay again

IMPORTANT : Do not go there if you are on honeymoon
Very dissapointing. We specified we were on our honeymoon and nonetheless got booked to a noisy room right by the noisy stairs The bed we thought was a double bed from the misleading advertisement was actually 2 single beds pushed together with nothing holding them together. So yeah now we cant even cuddle without the beds separating.
The elevator smalled like death. Like actual death. So much so i am convinced theres a dead animal down the shaft.
The beach is not as close to the hotel as it looks in the ads. Its a 25 minute walk and boat ride.
The spa area has mold and smells like it. The water in the hot tub smelled really bad too. The shower had next to no pressure.
The roof bar is nice but all the sofas close to the pool have been soaking wet our entire stay and smell bad.
All these problems would be expected in a normal hotel at a fair price. But for a so called 4 stars and the price we paid, this was very, very bad.
Service wise, most of the staff looks like they want to die all the time and look disengaged (probably from being paid next to nothing).
I felt like i was in a cheap Cuban resort but with better food.
The food was good but be aware. Even when you're having the all inclusive deal, its a lie. You cant have most drinks without paying. You also only have acces to the restaurants once since they take each restaurant card from you when you make a reservation. The rest of the time you must use the buffet, which is pretty good and varies every day.
Would be fair for a 2 or 3 star hotel. Not a 4 star.
