As with many hotels in the Algarve, the property is dated and probably one star less than its actual rating. Given this, the rooms were a nice size and clean aside from the odd insect that makes its way into the rooms (comes with the nice weather). The location is convenient to supermarkets, shops, a full mall with food court 2 euro pints and nice terrace overlooking ocean, and restaurants. A bit further to the tourist strip and old town but they offer shuttles if you're not inclined to walk. Best part was the staff throughout who were friendly and very accommodating to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
We came in the off season so were looking for a place with indoor facilities including an indoor pool. Breakfast included so no complaints though nothing to write home about either. Breakfast did it's job to get us going for the day.
As others have mentioned, overall, great value for the price. Cannot get an indoor pool at this price anywhere else. Exercise room, games room, kids room and included breakfast are a bonus. Live musician in the lounge on Saturday night.

Staying at this hotel currently, the rooms are very dated and has two single beds pushed together, all you hear is doors slamming 24/7 , the ‘spa’ if you can even call it a spa smells of sewage, in photos it shows they have a hot tub but now the hot tub has been taken out. The bar staff are rude if you just want a place to sleep it’s okay but would never come back here again.

In general not bad, but need renovation. At least our room was old. Was surprised that during the dinner we had to buy even water.
Had some kids activities (inside and outside), outside and inside pools, sauna, gym, squash

Early July, myself and two friends stayed at this hotel. We were only 18 so it was important for us to find a hotel which was both in a good location but also safe and I can safely say this hotel was both of those things. We only opted for a bed and breakfast, but the breakfast was lovely with quite a few options. The hotel is also walking distance from q shopping centre, burger king, mcdonald and all sorts of other shops you may need. Taxis to the beach and the strip are also really cheap and cost at most 5 euros. The staff were lovely and were very accommodating to our needs. The only fault that I think this hotel may have is the fact that it’s listed as a hotel and spa yet we were told by the receptionist that the spa wouldn’t be available till next year?? which was definitely confusing to say the least. Anyways, we were still able to access both saunas and indoor pool which was lovely. As well as this, although the hotel is small, we didn’t have to put out our beach towels really early every morning on sun loungers to be able to get in the pool. Whatever time we ended up going there was always space for us. The hotel was also very very clean and our room was lovely and spacious, perfect for 3 people. All in all the hotel is in a great location, great service and if you’re looking for a hotel which is quiet it’s perfect, as most of the guests seem to be older ( 30s/40s).

It's only half way through our holiday but I know enough to write a review. It's out of the main season so for us it's lovely and quiet.
For sun lovers there is a sunrise pool and bar and also a sunset pool and bar.
The gym is large and there is the sauna and steam room.
We cannot fault the service and I found a bottle of sparkling wine in my room on my birthday (may have been a data protection breach).
It's a bit out of the way but there is a free hotel bus and taxis are not expensive.
The evening meal mixes from buffet to table service. I discovered to my cost last night that for a 3 course meal you should not include the large pizza, but they boxed the leftover which is currently in my fridge.
