First time visitors to Albufeira- family of four with 2 grown sons. 2 bed apartment was brilliant - everyone has their own spaces. Hotel is brilliantly situated- supermarket next door - 10 min walk to Strip if you want but plenty on the doorstep - lovely walk into old town also. We travelled in December so it will be a different resort in summertime but it was ideally located right next to beach as well.

This was my 3rd time staying here and it will be my last. Our room was located right above the rockline bar which the music went on till at least 4 in the morning. We asked could we move and was told the hotel is booked out which is fair enough. The room for 3 people was tiny definitely not enough space. The room was also very dated and the bathroom wasn't in great shape. How this hotel is still 4 stars is beyond me. We had all inclusive which was a disaster. They had a variety of different food places to eat from but only managed to eat out of one of them cause they were always booked out. There was a place you could get a buffet from but was pretty much the same food every night. Wouldn't recommend going all inclusive if you have kids. There was a restaurant in the hotel but only think I saw it opened one of the ten nights I was staying there. Location is good that's about it .

We first stayed here in 2016, and had not returned until this year. nevertheless I always popped in every year to say hello to Bob in reception, who became a good friend. it really felt like coming home and we quickly became friends with most of the other Reception staff. Our apartment was superb, overlooking the pool, with an balcony about 3 quarters of the length of a cricket pitch!

I have no complaints about the room or the reception staff—they were both satisfactory. However, my overall experience at M&M Hotel has been far from ideal due to two significant issues.
Firstly, I encountered problems with accessing Netflix. I was unable to log in due to network issues and was told by reception that I needed to use my own data instead of the hotel Wi-Fi. Even after trying this, the issue persisted. I reported this to reception, but a day and a half later, no one had come to assist me.
Secondly, I experienced an extremely frustrating situation during lunch. Despite arriving within the prescribed dining hours, the restaurant was overwhelmed by two or three coachloads of guests. As the closing time approached, I sought assistance from the restaurant staff, but was merely told to join the queue. This effectively rendered my all-inclusive dining option useless, as I waited in line for 45 minutes with no resolution. I even had to call reception from my mobile phone just to get an explanation.
Had I been informed of the coach party’s arrival, I could have made alternative plans. The service at the hotel restaurant, JACs, has been appalling and unprofessional, adding to my overall dissatisfaction.
This is the reason for my rating. I have a few days left let's see what happens.
The rooms are nice but a little outdated.
No bar on site is annoying, as the one under the hotel doesn't belong to the hotel.
**Update**
Since writing my initial review, I am pleased to report that I have received exceptional customer service from Natalia. She was the lady I originally spoke to over the phone regarding my dissatisfaction with the service at JACs restaurant.
Natalia went above and beyond by personally coming to my room to thoroughly investigate, understand, and resolve my concerns. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care have completely turned around my experience. For this, I am incredibly grateful.
Thank you, Natalia, for your outstanding service !

Stayed for a week in November in a 1 bedroom apartment. Room was very spacious but in need of modernising a bit. Staff were friendly. Rooms were serviced regularly. Lovely pool area with plenty of loungers.
