Review based on a 7 night stay, half-board at the end of September 2024. This is a great hotel located in a very convenient location in Portimão. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. The fantastic beach has lots of restaurants all connected with a boardwalk which made getting around the beach area very easy. There is a gentle incline down to the beach from the front of the hotel with a drop of ~30 metres but most other points of access to the beach around the town involve using steps so the hotel is well located regarding beach access. The taxi rank is also around the corner for visits further afield. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were on hand for anything needed during our stay. The only observation was the service around the pool area for drinks orders was a little lacking at times but this is a very minor issue. The food during our stay was excellent with plenty of choice. The rooms and shared areas were always clean. The bed was a little hard for our liking but this is a personal preference and the hotel did provide a mattress topper which helped. Overall, we had a fantastic stay here and would definitely stay again in the future.

Jupiter Algarve hotel is a wonderful place to stay. Great location for the beach and restaurants/bars all walking distance. Clean rooms, great gym and spa. Lovely food. Excellent friendly staff. Massive thanks to staff member Marcelo he went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. Highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel! Great location, amazing breakfast and polite staff. Highlights about our stay: late checkout at 1pm without extra charge, freshly squeezed orange juice, Delta coffee, comfortable bed. The location is unbeatable, 5min away from the sea! The only downside was the parking situation, that has nothing to do the hotel, just the busy location, however still manage to find something relatively close by and free of charge. I would also recommend to reserve the restaurant you want to go ahead of time as everything is extremely busy in this area.

This will have been our 5th year returning to this hotel and it doesn’t disappoint. Great location, clean and friendly staff. Starting from check-in, breakfast & room staff they are all top notch. Marcelo at the bar & pool is a gem. Remembered us from the previous year and went above and beyond taking care of us and all guests. Will definitely be back. Thank you again for a wonderful week.

Comfortable hotel situated just off "the strip". Very clean and well maintained. No rush for the sunbeds. Beach which is lovely just across the street.(lots of steps down! ). The staff are polite and friendly without being "in your face". Food mixed have always managed to eat something at dinner. Big selection at breakfast.
