We had a lovely stay at the Gran Tacande. The room was spacious and meticulously cleaned every day. The gold level pool area was very good as was the service, particularly from barman Saverio. Breakfast was great every day and on the whole we had a really nice stay. We paid for 3 people to stay in one room, but on arrival the room was only set up for 2 people, 2 dressing gowns, 2 glasses, no sofa bed etc. but this was quickly fixed. There was one occasion where the hot tub water was dark brown and dirt clung to the sides of the hot tub, when we mentioned it to reception they said it was affecting everyone… Which wasn’t a problem for one day, but it would have been nice to receive a text or email letting us know about the problem. On the whole we had a lovely stay and would come again.

After seeing Gran Canaria we decided to spend few nights in Costa di Adeje and no other way better than staying at this wonderful resort at truly deserves 5* from the front desk welcoming by Sven to the restaurant and pool experience. We were delighted by the diversity and quality of the food options, exceptional floor service from Cosmin and pool side activities like aqua cycling.
Nevertheless the prime location with easy access to the black sand beach restaurants and walking a little bit further you can admire the paragliders enjoying the adrenaline in the air and then landing to a near by beach bar.
Overall exceptional resort that we totally recommend it and for sure we'll be back here next time. Thank you for amazing hospitality and keep these standards up!

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel for a week, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable and relaxing vacations we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, greeting us with warm smiles and excellent service throughout our stay.
The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a balcony offering a stunning view. It felt like a home away from home, with all the amenities we could ask for. The little touches, like fresh flowers and chocolates, made it even more special.
The hotel’s dining options were fantastic. We enjoyed breakfast every morning with a great selection of fresh and healthy choices. The dinner options were equally impressive, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate any requests.
One of the highlights for us was the spa area. We spent a lot of time unwinding in the pool, sauna, and hot tub — a perfect way to recharge. The hotel’s location also made it easy for us to explore nearby attractions, while still feeling like a peaceful retreat away from the crowds.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff, the comfort, and the attention to detail made our stay truly special. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already thinking about when we can return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a romantic escape!
5/5 stars.

I just arrived today and have 4 days to be won over but I felt inclined to help others deciding between hotels to maybe choose elsewhere as so far I wish I had...
I paid for the suite on booking.com which had images of a beautiful, bright, open plan room. I've been given more of an apartment style room which if I had paid less and expected that would be perfectly adequate but I feel duped and hard done by as it's much more dated and corporate other than a nice safari/tropical section near the bathroom. I had also requested the bed to be set up as a double but it's currently set as two singles side by side.
The reception staff are kindly relocating me tomorrow to the original intended style room but charging 15 per night as it has a side sea view ( a pool view but you can see the sea if you lean over).
Furthermore, there are hairs all around the room. On the bathroom counter, on the toilet lid, on the bed....I'm guessing this is from hotel staff who, like most women, sheds hairs. I haven't felt inclined to comment to the staff as I have similar hair and feel like it'll be presumed it's mine as they were very ready with their commentary about my room "still being a suite".
Like I said, I'd mind less only for I was oversold on the images. Additionally, I have chronic fatigue so splashing on a particularly nice hotel room for my stay was important as I'll be spending so much time in the hotel....alas...
I appreciated my welcome drink, the porter was lovely and I'm hoping the other amenities and new room sway me tomorrow....
Update: Truly terrible stay. New room was more to spec but they moved me to it at lunch time and since I've learned that there's construction directly below my room. They work throughout the day and started at 9.15am yesterday and 8.30am today (Saturday/weekend). I came here for a few days rest and relaxation ahead of hospital treatments on Monday. I'd have better sleep in the hospital! So much for a wellness hotel!!! I should have at least been warned about the noise to make an educated decision on room swap but feel like I was moved during lunch time to hide this fact. Don't be sucked in by the pretty pool area and supposed room pictures and stay elsewhere to enjoy your time in Tenerife :(

We had a much-needed break away with friends for a week. The hotel was lovely, and the staff were always super helpful & friendly. The location of the hotel is in a nicer area of Costa Adeje, and within a short walk to a variety of restaurants & shops. Bonus that the beach is situated at the rear of the hotel, so it was easy to have a mix of pool & beach days.
