Beach towels : shredded old ugly - not anywhere near 5 Star - stained !

All together : I am aware it is cheap season November - clientele accordingly - obese not expecting - a 5 star hotel …
Room keys go off every 3 days / need adjusting at reception / get to your room back to reception ..
Mainly unfriendly unsmiling women in reception area - men smiling helpful friendly
“Managers” definetely not the smiley kind
So all together look at your 5 Star competitors -
They know “how to do it right”!!

Stayed here for 7 days all inclusive. The hotel is beautiful and the weather was so beautiful.
The staff need some more training especially reception, don’t go for the food it lacked and the entertainment was not good.
Our housekeeper Ismail was amazing. And the sun international team was amazing. Enjoyed my time. But I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again when I go Egypt.

My stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. The place is very clean, calm, and comfortable. The staff are professional, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was cozy and well-equipped with everything I needed, and the daily cleaning was excellent. The location is also convenient and close to all essential services.
Overall, it was an experience worth repeating, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

This is the second time we have come to Cleopatra. The first time in October 2024 we couldn’t flaw it, everything was amazing from the welcome, with which we had a very warm greeting and a welcome drink. The food, service and pools were also excellent.
Unfortunately this time it was a different story. The pools and food were still as good as the previous years and we even got upgraded to a pool view room free of charge. It was a lovely room as long as you don’t mind the music until 11pm which we wasn’t really bothered by as we were out most nights until it stopped.
The one thing that stood out like a sore thumb this time though is the atmosphere.
The day we had arrived, upper management had implemented a tip system where by the tips are distributed. I wouldn’t have an issue with this as the bus boy taking the endless amounts of drinks and food to locations deserve as much of a tip as the people who service you. But this was something else.
The tips get put in a box and get collected every couple weeks. After this the managers, who you don’t ever see, take the majority of the tips. The bus boy, working in sweltering heat takes minimal as do the waiter, waitress and the barmen. You might think, I’ll slip him/her a sneaky tip and it will go un-noticed but they get searched on their way in checking how much money they have and again on the way out to make sure they haven’t taken any personal tips.
I find this completely and utterly unacceptable.
The staff that served us were complete professionals and were always helpful and served with humour and a smile.
I hope you change your system as I won’t be coming back again until it is.
