It’s a lovely hotel to stay at. Nice view from the room including side sea room too. Food is excellent even at both snack bars in the afternoon great sandwiches and pizza s to get you through the day. Animation team is on point they have really good entertainment programs throughout the day. Big shout out to both Alina and Antonio who have created such a wonderful vibe and atmosphere for us this holiday.

I’m currently staying at Steigenberger Alcazar Sharm El Sheikh (22-29 October 2025), and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing.
The kids’ infrastructure is terrible. The Kids Club is cold, empty, and completely uninviting. Despite the great commitment of the animators, the place itself desperately needs a full review and improvement - there are very few games, most of them old and damaged, and the space is small and unattractive for children. I’m not attaching photos of the kids’ room out of ethical considerations, since other children were present there.
The restaurants are another major letdown. The Italian restaurant is especially bad - the pizza and pasta are literally inedible. The menu is almost identical to what’s served at the pool café during the day, and it takes around an hour to get any dish in any of the restaurants.
On top of that, there’s a very unpleasant sewage smell near the room entrance, which makes staying in the area uncomfortable.
For the price paid, this hotel is absolutely not worth it. I strongly recommend choosing Rixos instead - much better service, food, and family facilities.
The only positive aspect I can mention is the massage service, which is truly excellent.

2-A – he is an amazing room attendant! The room is always perfectly cleaned, the bed linen beautifully arranged, and he always asks if we need anything else. Such a respectful and hardworking man!
Also huge thanks to Hossam from the beach team – an absolutely fantastic person who always serves us quickly and checks often if everything is okay. His friendliness and attention made our days by the sea even better!

My partner and I spent five nights at Steigenberger Alcazar and really enjoyed it. The resort is elegant and relaxing, with several pools, a private beach, and lovely gardens. Our room was modern, comfortable, and kept very clean throughout the stay.
The staff were polite and attentive, always ready to help. We especially liked the seafood restaurant and the beach bar — perfect for a romantic evening. The buffet was also good, though it could get busy at peak times.
In short, this hotel is ideal for couples who want a mix of relaxation, good food, and excellent service. We definitely recommend it.
