Just got back from staying at the hotel plaza palmeras two rooms, we had a five night stay, I’m gunna give my honest opinion, although first impressions were good, I don’t think this should be classed as an all inclusive for the following reasons
clean towel should be given daily, (although rooms not cleaned daily) we were told every 2 days cleaners would be in after 3 days I had to ask for some clean towels, and then they didn’t clean the room or change the bedding.
yes rooms could be updated but we slept and got ready there so didn’t bother us.
they shouldnt state they have entertainment, as what you class as entertainment I wouldn’t!! A young man trying to entertain people with a boom box there was no comedian or singer ect.
The staff were very polite and helpful and made our stay welcoming.
We did see an older couple struggle to get their luggage to the top apartments (which we helped) but there should be staff to help or they should ask if they need assistance to get to their room.
We had a flood in our room woken at 4am with water everywhere, went to reception where an older gentleman said we had to wait til 8am (I think there should be a 24 hr maintenance) then there would be someone here to help! At 7.30 we seen a maintenance man who came to see and said he will be back in 20mins after waiting we went back to reception when they told us he said we said to call back later!! So got another maintenance man who wasn’t happy turnt off the water then found a pipe had burst in the wall. He chisel away at the wall repaired the leak plastered and painted within a short space of time which didn’t effect us
unfortunately there were a male group who continued to drink all day and night, climbed across balcony, leaving their mess around the pool eg empty glass bottles i understand people are here to enjoy yourself but there was no respect from them, I believe staff should have intervened
We did enjoy our stay in Port Del Carmen and would return but not to this hotel unfortunately

I unfortunately recently stayed at Plaza Palmeras in Lanzarote.
The hotel is wrongly advertised as a 4-star property – it’s barely 2-star quality at best. **Key issues:** - **Awful food hygiene**: Leftover food was reused including seafood, fruit was off, so we couldn’t trust anything. The limited snacks (bread and butter) were served next to a bin, ham and cheese sandwiches left out for hours. The dining area is more like a dreary school or hospital cafeteria. You even have to pay extra for some items so not “all-inclusive”
**Shabby facilities**: Outdated apartments, ripped old brown sofa, noisy doors, and peeling paint. The resort feels like a badly converted self-catering place. - **Safety risks**: Damaged life-saving equipment and numerous trip hazards, including a drain near the cafeteria. - **No entertainment**: Just a pool table and loud music during the day, with an empty, cold outdoor bar in the evenings, the only place to sit with watered down drinks.
Despite raising these issues with the hotel and Love Holidays, I received no real response – except excuses. Stay far away from Plaza Palmeras if you are looking for a true 4-star holiday experience.

Great all inclusive mini break, nearby to amenities and the beach, bars and restaurants. Lots of choice. The apartment room was clean and well maintained. Good value for money, food was pleasant especially breakfast there was always something to choose from. Loved the pool. Only negative is could of done with a fan in the room as pretty warm at night. Overall we had a lovely time and would definately return 🙂

Smallish aparthotel complex about 10 mins walk down the hill to the sea front. It has recently changed owners and I understand a few improvements have been made, but does require further improvement and updating to stay competitive. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, found the breakfast to be fresh and cleanly served with great staff in the dining room / kitchen.

There wasn't any option to post a No star review .
#Rooms.. 1☆- 1 too many!
Dirty, run down, peeling mdf cupboards , A plus , the fridge worked.
No cleaning took place in a weeks stay, after 4 days asked for towels to be changed. They did reluctantantly. No replenishment of toilet paper , my travel companion had to ask a passing maid.
Good spot sun all day but that was purely the luck of the draw where our room was , which was up 3 flights of stairs.
Room opposite had a sign on door, do not clean .. they needn't have bothered putting sign up as they don't clean. Sign was on door for 5 days.. they could be in there dead for all anyone knew/ knows ..awaiting a news bulletin!
#Pool Area.. yes will give it a star .. clean enough , plenty of beds. Life guard ?? Practised his pretend karate kid moves under his umbrella all day , fully clothed, whilst tapping on his phone at points throughout his patterns , poss changing the music for the ear pods he was wearing... . God help if he was ever needed in pool!
#Bar .. Can't have a drink unless you purchase a glass ( plastic germ ridden beaker) for 1€..to be kept and guarded with your life for the duration of stay !
Not a fan of cheap watered down, spirits or beers/ lager..
Mixers were authentic re coke sprite etc
#Food 🙈.. Where do I start !
#Breakfast .. Continental not a fan so won't comment.
Cereals.. long life off the shelf warm milk.
Fresh bread ✅️
Butter✅️
The smallest amount of everything else .. part cooked eggs , bacon with bones , hash browns, poss day before, sprouts one day .. yes sprouts for breakfast , day later carrots and peas !
Variety of Overly sweetened cake!
#Lunch . Chips( Were hot , so that's a plus). salad , some days with onions .. black tomatoes , lettuce, some meats in sauces , no idea , smelt rank!
Bread fresh baguettes again.
Normal sliced bread tasted of onion
#Evening meal..Same as lunch but with show cooking ?? Fried Tuna Steak . Fried chicken that was left on the side by other stuff ..just left out .urgh..no thanks.
All food times weren't adhered too even though , we gave it a go for first few days on and off with diff mealtimes.. they shut early. Until.. the men in suits turned up.. this day was a special day .. paella.. 🎉 not to my taste so never tried.. breakfast same old but no sprouts nor carrots .. All seemed fine , no bones , omelette..hmn .. and didnt shut early. Methinks they were tipped off.!
All in All ..What an absolute waste of going all inclusive..
It was an absolute money making farce! Pure and simply to get you to stay there.
As a rule its cheap enough to eat out anyway , you get to choose , that way . Plus in most self catering you get your rooms cleaned towels and linen changed even if every other day .
This sustainable hotel nonsense .. it's just a way of saying lazy.. cheap.. dirty..
plus wouldn't feed that food to my dog tbh .. she would even turn her nose up to it.
It wasn't cheap to book and stay either !! I would definitely refute that it was a... .
4 star review on TUi
3 star on jet .
I would go so far as to say 1.
Location.. and by default sun on my particular balcony.
Absolutely shocking dive !
This is my honest opinion , take it or leave it. People don't work hard all year round to be sold a crock of bull
# Sustainable =lazy=yesterday's left overs .
The one thing I did forget to mention was entertainment.
Lovely young guy .. taught you how to stretch to the sound of music.
These stretches are prior to a workout of some sort ? Usually??
Never happened.
That's not.. entertainment was him showing ppl on their sunbeds how to stretch.. totally laughable.
Would I recommend..
Hmn .. absolutely....
NOT!!
