We love this hotel! It’s our second visit and it didn’t disappoint. Plenty to do in the hotel and it’s just the perfect place for us as a family.
The breakfast is lovely, apartments are really spacious and the sofa beds are roomy for the kids. Haven’t tried the kids club yet but they love the disco.
Having a kitchen means we can have some meals in the room (though we only got a small toaster oven thing instead of a proper oven this time). Also had a microwave, toaster and a stove so you can easily cook pasta etc. we made toasted sandwiches and fries no problem.
There are SO MANY pools to choose from, both indoor and out but the outdoor pools aren’t heated (except one that is covered in the winter and not the summer) but it gets busy and noisy! The other indoor pools are heated.
Kids love the splash parks and slides.
The food around the site is good, we’ve had a nice lunch at the snack bar and drinks from the tavern pub as well as breakfast.
I think the bonus of this hotel is that it’s connected to other hotels just over the road so you can swim in a different pool every morning and afternoon for a week if you want!
The mini market is well stocked (not sure it’s open in the winter months as it was closed in Feb last year when we came).
We hired a car and it’s easy to get places but it’s not too far from town in a cab.
I highly recommend this hotel for families, I’m sure we’ll be back for a 3rd time next year!

We are so sad to leave this beautiful hotel. We came out of season so not everything was open but that didn't matter. We enjoyed the heated covered pool, indoor pool, breakfast, football and we had the most amazing room. Super accessible and so much space for a family of 4. It would be nice to have had tea and coffee in the room maybe. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean. They also put balloons and a card in the room for my son's birthday. Thank you so much alto de Colina.

Enjoyed a week here in April 2025.
The rooms are lovely and spacious, tad dated but perfectly useable. Balcony was huge. Room was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The cleaners came every other day and cleaned round and changed towels but our bedding wasn't changed in the week we were there!
The facilities at the hotel were amazing (you also have access to their other hotels that are across the road), some things were closed due it being low season but we still used indoor pools, covered pool, football pitches, gym etc. Can imagine in high season it's an amazing place to stay with so much to do, especially if you've got kids.
The location was the only downside for us...it was a good 25 min walk to the main strip in Albuferia, to access bars and restaurants and you'd need a taxi to get to old town Albuferia. However, Ubers are cheap so it's not too much of an issue.
Would definitely visit again, tho to make it worth staying at the Algafar, I'd go later in the season when everything is open on site.

We had the best week staying on this resort.
From start to finish the rooms were stunning and I mean spotless.
Beds super comfortable
Air conditioning in the room WORKING
Bath room so clean shower great.
Breakfast was lovely we had so much choice the kids had plenty to to eat and enjoy.
The pools were all clean the grounds all spotless.
The pool bar was so handy for lunch because trying to pull kids away from the pool for lunch impossible.
The hotel is a little bit out but we used the bolt app to get to the old town and it was great.
Entertainment was okay not 10/10 but it was good for the end of September.
All the staff went out of their way to do anything to help and so good with the kids.
Chatting playing engaging in conversation with the kids which they loved.
We will definitely come back should be 5 star 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

We stayed here for a week and had a great time.
To be honest, most of our time was spent away from the complex but what we needed - a decent room, pool and breakfast - were spot on.
The breakfast buffet each morning is very wide ranging.
There are a variety of breads with two toast machines.
A cooked section with fried and scrambled eggs, waffles and pancakes, then another section with bacon, sausages, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns.
If cooked breakfast isn't your thing there's an extensive fruit section and another section with child meats and cheeses.
There's also a section with all sorts of cereals, a machine with three different juices and a hot drinks machine.
Our room was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space (2 wardrobes), a kitchen area with a fridge, small oven, microwave and toaster plus hobs. The bedroom could be separated from the living room by sliding doors and there was a bed settee in the living room too, although we didn't use it.
Two air conditioning units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom and a wide balcony overlooking the pool.
The bathroom had a large sink/vanity unit, a toilet, a bidet and a bath with shower over it.
When you check in you are given a wristband and that is your room key. Touch it to the door handle to unlock your room, no chance of forgetting your key!
All in all Alto da Colina was a great place to stay.
