I stayed at this hotel for 10 days, and I had a great experience. The service was excellent; the waiters, cleaners, and receptionists (especially Islam) were all very kind and helpful. Every day there were different and entertaining recreational activities to enjoy. Sliding down the water slide was definitely a highlight! The hotel is safe, clean, and very pleasant. I highly recommend it!

My first trip to Egypt and it was well worth the money spent. The staff were all very friendly and treated me and my partner with great respect.
I have read a few other reviews so want to address a few points while on each topic.
Rooms are good not great but who comes on Holiday to sit in their room? First thoughts when we got here were the mattresses were very hard but after having 7 nights sleep in them I can't complain, might not be great for everyone but provided us with a great night's sleep each night. After looking at a few other reviews I think if you are hoping for something ritzy with a waterfall shower and spa in each room you are barking up the wrong tree. Only other slight issue was the shower which had a mind of its own but in my experience this is common and the heat makes cold showers fun and refreshing.
Food was amazing, both myself and the wife loved the food and selection avaliable. Breakfast was the only slight area for improvement but this was not personal feeling as I was always happy with the pastries and pancakes. I have seen some criticism of no Bacon or Sausages, but I think these people struggle to understand the culture in Egypt. The lunch time food and evening meals were great and excellent respectively and if you saw the grill outside you knew you were in for some good food. I do wish there were more juice options avaliable.
Pool side area was perfect if you like a swim nice cool pool and a heated pool. Big pool was nice and cool and a good way to cool down in the heat and at the time of our visit was empty quite a lot of the time. Pool/towel guy was great and always made sure we had some of the best loungers avaliable. Slides are fun but can be a little painful if you are not young and immortal 😀
On site shop is good and the guy running it was cool and fair. You are likely going to pay more as a tourist than the locals but I see no harm in this too much as the prices are always fair and a lot cheaper than back home anyhow.
Entertainment was varied the two guys were great at Interacting with guests and I do feel they try so hard to make the experience so good. There is a language barrier at times but they do seem to go between 3 or 4 languages if not more and as someone who speaks 1.5 at best I'm not going to judge at all. Their is also a lady who helps with the entertainment who is super friendly but can sometimes cause annoyance with constant request to clap your hands after clapping for 20 mins and giving standing ovations.
All inclusive needs a little work as you can't get any beers without paying extra and the spirits are common for all inclusive resports and can seem a little less strong.
Location is fair there is a shuttle service to the two beaches didn't go to either as we prefer excursions over beach days but when talking to others they sound like a fair day out. Once you step out the hotel you have an army of taxi drivers wanting you to get in and go somewhere. This was so bad at one point we got off a bus and were asked if we need a taxi 😆 If you need one though they are there, I would just ask hotel staff what is a good price as I know for fact they know a tourist and they have a good understanding what is a major saving for us is a rip-off when they charge it so it's easy for them to get away with it. We were advised a town center trip from the hotel should be around 200 Egyptian at most.
No one at the hotel offered excursions so that was a bit of an annoyance but in fairness there is the option to boom and arange before the holiday but we like to boom while on holiday and Anwar at Sun International was a great help to us and help us arange some great days out.
In conclusion we had a great time and the hotel and staff were part of this so would we come back?
You can bet your bippy without a second doubt we would!! Just maybe with some bug spray as the mozzies were annoying as feck.
I mean if you got this far in my review you deserve a holiday ;)

I recently stayed at Hotel Sharm and Sheik with my two small children (ages 2 and 3), and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. As a single dad traveling with little ones, I always worry about finding a place that feels welcoming and accommodating, but this hotel exceeded all my expectations.
From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make our stay special. Mohamed at the reception desk was incredible—he took the time to fold a little boat out of paper for my kids, and they were absolutely delighted! It’s the little gestures like this that make such a big difference.
The housekeeping staff was equally amazing. The gentleman who cleaned our room took the time to create adorable towel animals every day. My kids’ faces lit up with joy every time we returned to find a new surprise, from elephants to swans. It truly made our stay magical and left us with unforgettable memories.
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and family-friendly, but it was the personal touches and the caring staff that really stood out. Traveling with young children isn’t always easy, but Hotel Sharm and Sheik made it feel effortless and enjoyable.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families. Thank you to Mohamed and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

My recent stay at the hotel was truly exceptional. The breakfast spread was absolutely fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options to choose from each morning. The quality and selection were beyond my expectations, catering to all tastes. The staff went above and beyond in providing top-notch service, always friendly, attentive, and eager to help with any request. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was seamless. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, and transportation options were well-organized, making it easy to get around. The team also provided excellent information and guidance about the area, which added to the overall ease of my trip. Every detail was well thought out, contributing to an outstanding stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, service, and convenience.
Also I would like to thank to Islam because of good behaviour and help. 🙂

Just finishing a week's stay, December 9th-16th. Very pleasant stay. Me and partner enjoyed it very much. Great value for money. Nice for couples at the upstairs pool and saw plenty of families having a good time in the main pool. Plenty of good food choices, cater local food and western.
Weather was lovely the whole time. Free Shuttle bus to private beach ideal.
And location was good to explore Sharm. Entertainment was plentiful, didn't do any as we just wanted to relax.
All staff were very helpful and grateful.
Will be back with the kids.
Thanks for lovely week.
