The hotel should be considered three star, this would avoid disappointment to guests.
Generally the staff are fantastic, taking time to make your stay very enjoyable. HOWEVER, beware of a certain member of the reception team, who's vocation really should be elsewhere than front of house hospitality!! I'd suggest Lion taming would be more apt.
The hotel is 'tired' but clean, the rooms are fine except limited hot water.
The food is typical local fayre, as to be expected when you visit another nation. It is good quality and with some variety, if you are a burger and chips family, this isn't the place for you.
The location of the hotel is a little desolate, although getting a taxi is easy and the journeys are extremely reasonably priced.
Bottom line, you get plenty for your dollar, there's other options at twice the price and more, and that's a clear clue as to what you are getting.
Some intense training for the terribly tempered, rude, vile manboy at the front desk would be a massive improvement.

We were there for 2 weeks .The food was horrible ,having to eat everyday eggs and for lunch fries ,the cakes were weird, the left food was used the next time .The furniture was old but always clean. The workers were nice if you gave them tip and the rest were mean. The cleaner's wanted to clean our room and make snakes from our towel and wouldn't leave without a tip. In the pool it was very dirty. The toilet in the room stinked very hard .In the sea under the water is amazing , Egypt has great nature but the rest isn't that good.

The “Resort” was not that bad but there is somethings I have to talk about
Rooms : our first room had a very bad view that I had to change it the next day 🙁
The bathroom door can not be closed 😭
Food : not various 😞
Cleaning stuff : no commet 🤷🏼♀️
The pool was clean
The security/safety hummm : at night I was sleeping than I heard like someone want to open the door but he can’t I ran to see who’s there didn’t find anyone, I went back to my bed, and the same thing happened when I opened the door i see one of the receptionist trying to open the door to a drunk woman by his card , he was shocked when he saw me , he said oh sorry sorry she told me (the drunk woman) that this is her room & her card wasn’t working so I was helping her to reach out her room 😫 the scariest night in my life 😭

I booked a double room because I was traveling with two children, but when we arrived at the hotel, we were given separate rooms. The hotel promised to fix this the next day, but it never happened. Therefore, we had to sleep four people in one room, which was very cramped even though we were given an extra bed.
There was also an issue with cleanliness. We had to ask them to change the towels every day, and even after asking them twice to change the bed linens, it was never done. They simply made the bed with the same sheets for seven nights.
The door keys also didn't work properly. We had to try several times to get the door to open or go to the reception for help.
On the positive side, the hotel had a nice pool, and three meals were included. There was also a shuttle bus to the beach three times a day, and the staff in the restaurant were very kind.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience due to the room issues and poor housekeeping, although there were some positive aspects.

Overall the hotel was Good the staff were great especially the pool bar man Hasan's swimming pool is good. The food is good and the beach is far away we must go by bus free of charge, there's a supermarket and pharmacy with good prices , I'll come back for sure , the animation and entertainment need to improve
