A Stellar hotel with great service, truely worth its 4 stars. Upon being greeted at the front desk for the check-in i was given a complimentary glass of orange juice which was very welcoming. My room was nice and clean and every day there was room service to clean my room, i once even found that some clothes i left on the chair were folded and placed back on my bed which surprised me but it's a very nice gesture.
As for food, i took the breakfast buffet once not long before it closed and it was sufficient for me, however i found that there werent any soft-boiled eggs or bacon, it could be that i didnt see it in a rush or it wasnt there. The hotel offers lots of drinking & dining options aswell as many great relaxation facilities! As a last note, i saw that there was some construction happening which brought me some concern but in the end it didnt bother me that much, the construction started and stopped at fair hours so i could still get some good sleep.

Had 7 days at this hotel in April 2025 and had a fabulous time. Arrived at reception to early to get in room, but Camillia booked us in and we were able to put or luggage into secured room. Our room was wonderful, beautiful sea view and was cleaned every day and coffee and tea topped up. We went half-board and wow the food was excellent, so much choice and was presented so well, buffet style, cooked to prefection and restaurant staff very attentive. Reception staff so friendly and always polite, would always acknowledge us as we passed by and would help us whenever they could. Was a little apprehensive when we were informed that there was building work and read some previous reviews before we went which sounded bad, but never bothered us at all, no early morning noise or banging and was not a building site like some reviews had said. We would go back to this hotel again it was brilliant.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, with a balcony offering a breathtaking view of the sea. Watching the sunset in the evening and the sunrise early in the morning was truly magical. The staff was friendly and very helpful — they assisted us in resolving an issue with the agency, which tried to deceive us by booking a standard room with a view of a wall, even though we had paid for a sea-view room. Thanks to the hotel staff, the situation was quickly resolved, and we enjoyed the stunning view we had initially chosen. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would definitely return!

I normally down write reviews about hotels but the experience at this one was so particularly bad I feel like I have to share. While communicating with this hotel we given false information about the property itself and its amenities. Upon arrival we were greeted with inconsiderate staff and receptionists. The facilities at this hotel were not clean and obviously not maintained well. After dropping our bags and waiting for check in we had lunch down the street and noticed about 5 other hotels, all nicer and better maintained. Quite disappointed with this we ignored it and said we would wait to see how nice the beach pool area was, which was the main and only reason we chose the Preluna Hotel. To our incredible disappointment and anger, the pool and restaurant bar were closed and filled with garbage and filth. The pool was the main reason we booked at this hotel and we had called 3 TIMES before check in to make sure that it was open during are stay. When we went to complain to the front they were rude and unhelpful utterly unprofessional. we decided to go find a hotel elsewhere for our stay because we were uncertain with how the cleanliness of the rooms would be. We asked for a refund and to talk with the manager but were once again rudely brushed off, we just took our struggles as a sign to move on, counted our losses, and moved into a better hotel which was so much more beautiful! Malta itself is stunning and has so many incredible cheap hotels so I would absolutely recommend staying away from this one. Hope this helps someone who is considering finding a place to stay in malta!

This is a wonderful hotel with lovely staff throughout and good choices of food. Paying for a seaview room is definitely recommended.
However unfortunately I can't award 5 stars as there was only 1 working lift which results in long waits trying to get in and out of your room. And as the previous poster said the attention to detail on the cleaning was poor. The cleaners were lovely and replaced everything daily, however the shower screen, fridge door, balcony,bath tiles and many other places remained stained and dirty throughout our stay. It wasn't just the room as the lift, outside of our door and the areas in the lounge, dining room and the downstairs toilet just weren't cleaned thoroughly in 3 weeks. I didn't see a head housekeeper doing inspections as I would have expected. It really needs to be addressed.
All in all despite the ongoing work and poor attention to housekeeping I would always recommend this hotel.
