This was our first time not only in this hotel but in Tunisia. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the beach is by far one of the best I've ever visited & the security guy on the beach was amazing. The hotel rooms are big, comfy & beautiful, our view was breathtaking, my only complaint about them would be the air con, it's not strong enough & the rooms stays too warm. The food was grand, there was always something to eat. The staff though, they are what made our first holiday to Tunisia, they were helpful, pleasant, funny & hard working. We will definitely be back

A good solid 4*.
There was 8 of us & each person had different thoughts. 14 years old was bored with lack of things to do for his age. Granda was disappointed with lack of things to do outside the hotel. For me the only downside was having to pay extra to use the gym.
Food was good.
Staff were brilliant.
Hotel was clean.
I would go back no problem!

I had a very pleasant 5 days here. The rooms were clean, the food was alright the service was great. The food got a bit repetitive but it was okay food I mean not amazing 5 star delicacies but it was EDIBLE. The beach was great and the pool was huge. The only problem was how long me and my cousins had to wait for our room to get cleaned but other than all of that it was a very pleasant place and would 100% recommend!

went knowing it wasn’t the 5* advertised but wasn’t disappointed at all. As soon as you walk in through the main doors you can see the beach and it’s a breathtaking sight.
They really accommodated for us considering one of us is disabled.
The food is standard all inclusive but the fresh cooking stations were lovely.
The indoor pool is where we lived and it was brilliant. We used the spa pool once but didn’t again as the price was more than we expected.
We also got a taxi from outside the gates into monastir for a few hours. The driver even waited for us. Only 40 dinar and they’re employed by the hotel!
Fresh water in the room daily really helped.
The lack of a shop open on site really made us struggle considering the tiny glasses of drink you get until around 10pm when you have to pay.
We had a lovely time and it’s what you’d expect for the money.

Please do not believe the rating of this hotel nor any 5-star reviews. Just because it has a spar and gym doesn't make it that great (plus they were privately run and cost a fortune). The hotel is tired and had it's peak 15 years ago. The primary goal of the employees at this hotel is to make money (sounds obvious right) but that means they cut every corner possible to save on costs. For example, the food is low grade and very repetitive. Breakfast was the best meal of the day as lunch and dinner we pretty much the same choices and poor quality every day. There clearly isn't enough staff in the dining areas as they were run off their feet, couldn't clear tables and replenish them with cutlery etc, fast enough. So you waited to get a knife and fork which led to taking them from nearby tables. It was very poor. Management seemed to just berate the junior staff too, which wasn't great to watch.
Bar service wasn't any better, and long queues developed at the main bar, primarily driven by the 2 drink per person in attendance rule, where the 2 cups were small plastic beakers. This, coupled with only 1 bartender, led to waiting of up to 40 mins to get a drink at busy times.
The cleaners often forgot to replenish items, like toilet roll or some of your towels. If you contacted reception for the missing items you eventually got them, but were expected to tip the staff for basically, not doing their job in the first place.
On that note, if you do want good service, put your hand in your pocket, and pay the bar staff, waiters or cleaners. Sounds bad, I know, but they only get paid peanuts out there.
Finally, the good stuff, the pool was superb and the daytime entertainment team really worked hard to keep you occupied and entertained. shame the same couldn't be said for the evening entertainment as it was pretty much non-existent.
Beach was ok, plenty wide, but shallow and often the sea lapped right up to the boundary of the bar/ sitting area.
