I recently had a fantastic stay at the Mouradi Hotel. The hotel's location is perfect, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The facilities were excellent, especially the pools and beach. The evening entertainment was fun and engaging. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety of options to choose from. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

Entertainment was amazing and the staff was great especially wael really kept us company throughout the week. Pool is very refreshing and clean. The rooms are dated but do exactly what you need especially with the air con! Food was lovely and always kept us full! Definitely will be visiting again and well worth the visit!

I recently stayed at Hotel El Mouradi in Tunisia, and I must say it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, especially for a so-called five-star establishment.
To start, there were significant plumbing issues in the bathroom. It flooded frequently, and the drainage was completely blocked. Despite reporting this multiple times, the staff responded dismissively, saying, “this is how it is,” which is completely unacceptable. It’s frustrating to deal with such problems, especially in a hotel claiming to offer premium service.
The service at the bar was equally disappointing. The drinks were served in tiny cups, barely enough to last the walk from the bar to my seat. For a hotel of this supposed standard, it was absurd to be given such small portions.
The dining experience was another disaster. I had to ask multiple times just to get a bottle of water. Even worse, I had to repeatedly request basic items like cutlery, which should have been provided without any hassle. The staff seemed completely unorganized and inattentive, making me feel more like I was imposing rather than a valued guest.
As for the room itself, it was appalling. The bedsheets were never changed during my stay, leaving the room in an unhygienic and disgusting state. The room lacked basic amenities like a fridge and a safe, which are standard even in three-star hotels. To make matters worse, when I opened the closet to store my clothes, I was hit with a terrible smell of what I assume was rotten wood. It was unbearable and made me avoid using the closet altogether.
In conclusion, Hotel El Mouradi was by no means a five-star experience. From the bathroom issues to poor service and an unclean, unsanitary room, the entire stay was a nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you're expecting anything close to luxury. It was, without a doubt, the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Tunisia.

If you go to this hotel 🏨 and you enjoy the term all-inclusive then you and your family are in for a big surprise, the food is for Arabic taste only ,at the bar you get we have run out of vodka ,we have .no ice 🧊 we do not have tonic water and never have , the rooms are dated but not the ants take a repellent with you , the staff are fine the entertainment is Arabic only hence the music at night is for them only ,but you might like it !!! In the hotel 🏨 ground is the Hard Rock Cafe this cost me 25 pound a night but was worth it great menu 😋 oh I nearly forgot not all rooms have a fridge and a working TV, the staff are fine but will ask for anything you want to leave and if you do they need a written letter from you . I end the 2 week's I was here was the worst I have ever experienced 🙃 never again it was the only time I was looking for a early flight ✈️ home 🏡,,,, nearly forgot no WiFi it's not in room's and in reception be lucky that your on it ,

Oh boy, oh boy.
This is like the Wild West of tourism.
This is the kind of hotel where you need to slip some money into your passport just to get a decent room 😁. If you mention you're traveling with a child and politely request a clean, non-smelly room, the receptionist—the guy in a suit with a gold watch, full of ego—will still give you the worst room possible. You'll have to go back, be really firm, and rude to finally get a room that doesn't reek.
I even witnessed this same guy arguing and physically confronting his older colleague at the front desk. What a joke.
Anyway, the hotel is dirty, the food is flavorless, and the rooms smell—except for the ones they reserve for guests who complain (rooms 140-170).
The pool is decent, and the beach is beautiful, aside from a handful of shady guys trying to sell you anything. Just get used to them and ignore it.
All in all, there’s a culture here where everyone expects tips. That’s how they survive, so you'll constantly feel like you're being milked.
Good luck. I would never come back, not just to this hotel, but to Tunis in general. It's the Wild West.
