Fantastic stay here, beautiful hotel, lovely rooms and friendly staff. 2 adults and 1 child and we had plenty of space. It's in a family friendly area of Benidorm and just a 10 min walk to the beach. The pool is just incredible, never seen one so big and it was also clean. Always managed to find a sunbed despite being in the peak of summer, although this was more tricky around midday. Breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choice and all seemed fresh. The only negatives I can think of are the costs of the mini bar, extortionate prices which no one will pay when Lidl is right outside. Also the wait for the lifts can be long at times. Would definitely return to this hotel in the future

We had a lovely stay at Melia. We were in a Level room so the care and detail was really nice. The rooms themselves are a bit tired but still adequate. Service, staff and attention to detail made up for the room. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would return again with the same Level experience. Good value.

A hugely enjoyable stay 🤩 Pool is just brilliant and glass elevator a must. Arcade and gym were brilliant. But sadly, Jacuzzi was out of service 😞
Staff were wonderfully helpful and rooms were perfectly clean with AC, and what a view!
Breakfast is madly busy and could be improved in a few ways, but very tasty 😋
Luggage service was helpful, as well as safes in rooms 🔐 Tropical 🌴 Theme throughout characterises the hotel 🏨

This hotel is a must for everyone! Beautiful outside and inside with comfortable rooms, friendly stuff, nice food, THE BEST pool with plenty of loungers and sun shades, green trees, bushes and palms and a nice daily music and show making your stay 100% satisfaction! The pool is also great for people with reduced mobility or small kids with its easy stair free access. The evening show in the yard is absolutely brilliant offering shows for every age for free while you enjoy a drink or food from its bars all the time. It is luxurious, convenient, child friendly and quiet during the night. The receptionists Belén and Marcus are super helpful for whatever you need. I will keep booking this hotel for all my holidays!

Let's make it brief:
1) AC is very poor both in common areas and in the rooms. Sometimes it feels it's not even on, especially inside the restaurant. Keep in mind it can get to 40° outside, so imagine the discomfort indoor. This issue alone would be worth 1 star.
2) The room bathroom has a leak and water can get all the way to the room through the wall. Overall, the rooms are quite basic, although they have a big tv, which is nice, decent views on the pool and a nice little terrace.
3) The reception answers the phone once every five or six calls which is frustrating. When they do, some of the staff can be helpful.
4) Food is average, what you can expect from a upper mid class hotel. The way the crowd is unmanaged is quite underwhelming. Some of the younger restaurant staff can be a bit rude and impolite - they cut your way while you're walking, signaling they're sick of the excessive crowd. Some of the younger boys also make comments on the ladies, which is incredibly unprofessional. The Italian waiter Fabrizio instead is very nice and professional, another level compared to his peers and probably overqualified for the job.
5) The hotel amenities are average, except the pool which is stunning and huge. This is probably the best part of all the hotel, one of the best pools we have seen and we really enjoyed it and worth the money. The reception area is great too.
6) The entertainment team is great and know how to deal with kids. The pool staff instead lets everyone play with the ball in the water and dive, and it's really annoying when the pool is full. I'm surprised they even allow that, considering that the august crowd is very impolite.
I'll end up by saying that I found a cockroach in a publich restroom but I want to hope that's a coincidence and the result of the heat.
Overall, not a bad hotel but I was expecting more from the Melia brand.
I doubt we will be back, unless we found a really good deal and the AC issue would be solved. The latter is the biggest deterrent for us to return and the reason why I've been quite critical overall.
