Stayed here two weeks ago had been down graded by Jet2 but don’t understand why.
The two gentlemen on the reception desk were very helpful on our arrival switching around rooms around so we could be next friends.
This is obviously an older property but is very well maintained by the staff. We found all the staff gardeners, maids waiters to very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are large clean and functional, the bathrooms are are a little dated.
The choice of food at the buffets was fantastic never got bored with the selection at breakfast or dinner.
Would not hesitate to return👍

This was mine and my wife’s third holiday to this hotel, this time was different as we had our 15 month old daughter with us. We have loved it the last Two times but this time in our opinion the standards had gone down quite drastically. Rooms was spot on as usual no problem at all, pool area clean and tidy and staff very friendly as usual, location is a massive bonus.
Food is shockingly bad. Had seafood paella on the first day and could not move off the toilet for the next 3 days, another couple we met also had the same problem after having the paella so it must have been that, food was tasteless and boring , we went all inclusive but went out every day and night we only ever stayed in for breakfast because you can’t really go wrong with cereal and toast.
The hotel is now French run by the looks of it, 80% of guests are French and French travel company signs all over the hotel, we had a drink in faros bar one night and was not invited or offered to play a music quiz because it was for all the French even tho a music quiz could have been played by any nationality!! This was bang out or order and very rude to be honest.
The guests in the hotel have gone down hill too, a family of English drunk on their balcony playing music from there speaker they had brought from home, couples intoxicated arguing by the sun beds shouting and swearing as they had been drinking in the sun all day and yet still served alcohol by the staff, I wouldn’t say it was very child friendly now. The standards have defiantly dropped since our last 2 visits just over 2 years ago. We will not be returning to this hotel which dissapoints us to say that.
Also no entertainment , kids disco was not until 8:30pm! That is very late for a kids disco

Great location.
Close to the top of the main road & very close to Retro Bar if you like live music.
Short 20/30 minute down the road into town or same distance across the next block to Campanario shopping precinct including restaurants & coffee shops etc.
Clean tidy hotel. Good choice of food & all staff interactions were good ones!
Pic is from patio of poolside room 1245.
You can see plenty of quality sun beds to go round but being so close together getting off the bed to the side or sitting side on with your feet on the floor is not really possible.
Nice poolside bar & entertainment area but no tables with the beds to put your drinks on.
Be careful when it’s windy, not all umbrellas are secured in their bases & can take to the sky without warning!
If you’re paying for drinks they’re very reasonably priced too.

Stayed for 11 days in January,
Very clean in all areas, food was very good, a lot of choice, and half board was amazing., the staff were very polite and very helpful, and it seems the hotel is very well managed from all areas. The evening restaurant staff worked extremely hard, and anything you wanted was provided.
Would definitely visit again !

Sadly showing a decline in quality post-covid. Great location, bland lukewarm repetitive food. The all inclusive plus option to get any decent drink is a bit of a gimmick. Cocktails pre-mixed regardless. Awful sunbeds. Decent enough for a budget friendly holiday, but 3 star I’d say.
