Stayed here two weeks ago had been down graded by Jet2 but don’t understand why.
The two gentlemen on the reception desk were very helpful on our arrival switching around rooms around so we could be next friends.
This is obviously an older property but is very well maintained by the staff. We found all the staff gardeners, maids waiters to very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are large clean and functional, the bathrooms are are a little dated.
The choice of food at the buffets was fantastic never got bored with the selection at breakfast or dinner.
Would not hesitate to return👍

Bahia de Lobos is situated just off the far end of the strip near the Las Palmeras shopping centre. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to the harbour with numerous shops, bars and restaurants along the way, and about the same to the nearest beach. There is a local bus stop about 5 minutes away. All walks are along flat terrain.
The reception is to the right of the entrance which opens up into a large lobby area with a fountain and plenty of seating. The information boards of the various tour companies can be found here along with free coffee machine. On checking in, you are given a map showing the layout of the hotel. The reception is manned 24 hours – any questions and they will help out.
After exiting the lobby, the main pool is to your right and the restaurants and entertainment area to your left. A second (quiet) pool is further away tucked amongst the accommodation. Both pools have plentiful sunbeds which are extremely comfortable. The pool bar is situated next to the main pool. Unfortunately, there is no bar next to the quiet pool – maybe that’s why it is quiet!
The grounds are very clean and tidy with some interesting cacti and succulents in the gardens which are well maintained.
The accommodation is in low rise blocks which blend in well with the surroundings. Our room was next to the quiet pool. It was very clean, spacious with fridge, safe and air conditioning. There was a large screen TV and a very comfortable sofa. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower. The patio contained a table and two chairs with a view to one of the volcanic craters in the distance. It was very quiet with no disturbance.
Breakfast was served in the Lobos Beach Restaurant next to the main pool. Evening meals were in the Botanic Restaurant down a flight of stairs next to the entertainment complex. If you have mobility issues or a pushchair to carry there is a lift you can use – it is tucked away on the opposite side of the terrace. It could do with better signage – if you can’t find it ask a member of staff. Food is buffet style and of very good quality. You would be hard pushed not to find something to satisfy you.
Evening entertainment is in Faro’s Club where the main bar is located. We found the entertainment good with singers, a magician, and karaoke. There is also a daytime program if you wish to stay on the complex.
In summary, this is a very good hotel which is kept very clean and tidy. We found the staff friendly and engaging. We would have no hesitation in returning here.

The food in the hotel was very good, lots of choices, fresh and something to suit all tastes. There are 2 pools, one with the entertainment and music and a quiet one. It would have been nice for one to be heated as weather wasn't great. Rooms are large and comfortable and include tea and coffee making.

The hotel is a bit tired, needs a renovation in some areas. I've been in many hotels in the Canary islands and I can say the staff were possibly the best I've experienced, super friendly and helpful.
The location is good, plenty restaurants and bars nearby,it's about 10 minute walk from the main night life.
When reading reviews before we went I was concerned about the food, the breakfast had good choice of fresh produce but I didn't like the sausages and bacon which is pretty normal everywhere in Spain.
Dinning in the evening was best ,loads of fresh fish and meat that I couldn't fault.
You can pay a lot more in other hotels for a lot worse.
I will use this hotel again .

Currently in the hotel...sadly we'll be heading home soon.
From check in we knew we had made the right decision to ignore the few bad reviews.
Leonardo was flawless as he checked us in, also changed our room without hesitation! Rooms are spotlessly clean and are cleaned daily.
We took a ramble to the dining area for lunch with all you needs met...the pizza was delicious as was all the food.
Out to the pool then to relax with the pool bar always stocked well. Evening drinks in the terrace at the stage area then to dinner..again cannot fault the food!
Now to the real stars of our stay...the Staff who work tirelessly to your every need! The Animation team are outstanding, so attentive to the children.
We've been travelling to Corralejo for the past 15 years and we will definitely be returning to the hotel this is solely down to how well we were and others were treated by the staff.
To all the staff thank you for an amazing stay.
