I felt we got very good value for our money spending our week long vacation here. The staff were very nice and hospitable, the food definitely above average for the price category. The animation team did a great job entertaining our kids (8 and 10 y/o) with their daily events, especially the disco. We very much enjoyed the privacy of the hotel beach as well as the pool. At any time we could get drinks and small snacks from the bar.
Initially we had some issues with the AC in our room, but those were quickly resolved. The rooms are not the shiniest to be sure, but you won't be spending that much time in them anyway, so we didn't find that to be a big deal.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family vacation.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure every guest felt welcomed and comfortable. They even gifted us a nice package of local goodies before we left.
The hotel itself is like a slice of paradise – stunning views and a beautiful beach just steps away. It’s small, very private territory surrounded by mountains. It’s seems like you don’t need outside world, because everything is right here.
The cocktails options were great (try green apple martini) and food was delicious, a lot of fresh meat and fish, local produce, live cooking. The only controversial thing is a bit worn out rooms, but it didn’t bother us at all.

Everything was very good (service, smiles, food variety, landscape), but the rocks under the water when entering from hotel beach.
I've seen older people (>75) that had real problems when trying to enter the water and they said "we broke our legs here".
Why not remove the rocks (after season) and really ensure a comfortable experience at the seaside for people that come for a 7 days holiday in a Grecotel hotel ??

Absolute gem of a hotel. Hidden away and far from the crowds. Beach side hotel. Secluded location. Fabulous pool. Delicious food. Great service. Rooms were a bit disappointing and very hot! Air conditioning on but set so couldn't change which made the room uncomfortable. Bathroom quite basic however, the rest of the hotel was fantastic. Staff were wonderful. All inclusive with free use of pedalo and kayak when not too windy.

I booked this hotel through TUI, after reading positive reviews and seeing a nice modern hotel.
my partner and I both work extremely long hours and our annual leave is a time for us to relax, rewind and enjoy ourselves.
We arrived at Grecotel Meli Palace on Thursday 26th September the early hours of the morning,
We was met by an elderly gentlemen who was pleasant spoke good English checked us in, and offered us a drink showed us to our room,
We were both extremely disheartened and upset by the room we were given room 103, the room was extremely dirty, outdated mould on the bathroom shower curtain. Furniture floating on metal frames… hairs everywhere. Uncomfortable beds.
It is a real let down that the rooms are such outdated elsewhere within the hotel is immaculate and modern…
Staff- the staff make the place, our sincere thanks go to Giorgos, Maria, Pablo, Rosemary and Wojtek who made the entertainment up a little bit.
Food - we were both impressed by the selection of food on at breakfast and lunchtime, however in the evenings we found many things salty pastas rice and meats, we weren’t the only people to say this.
One night we had chicken breast cooked on the grill plate we cut into it and the chicken was RAW.
some more time and due diligence when cooking is needed… photos attached.
Drinks menu very good, cocktails nice. Beer nice.
Would be nice to have drinks in the room,
Instead of one bottle of water… not replenished you have to do that yourself.
Entertainment isn’t up to par, we had the entertainment team tell us that everything is done on a “Budget”. That tells you something?. Very basic not a lot on.
We were looking forward to using the pedal boat however they told me it was broke and had been for a while. and the kayaks looked outdated too.
Overall the hotel is modern in the areas they want people to see but rooms are extremely outdated need modernising to bring it up to the standards you would expect…
Wi-Fi - non existent it’s only available in the main lobby but very slow.
We will probably not come back to this hotel due to the standards of the rooms and food.
The TUI excursions made the trip.
