I felt we got very good value for our money spending our week long vacation here. The staff were very nice and hospitable, the food definitely above average for the price category. The animation team did a great job entertaining our kids (8 and 10 y/o) with their daily events, especially the disco. We very much enjoyed the privacy of the hotel beach as well as the pool. At any time we could get drinks and small snacks from the bar.
Initially we had some issues with the AC in our room, but those were quickly resolved. The rooms are not the shiniest to be sure, but you won't be spending that much time in them anyway, so we didn't find that to be a big deal.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family vacation.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure every guest felt welcomed and comfortable. They even gifted us a nice package of local goodies before we left.
The hotel itself is like a slice of paradise – stunning views and a beautiful beach just steps away. It’s small, very private territory surrounded by mountains. It’s seems like you don’t need outside world, because everything is right here.
The cocktails options were great (try green apple martini) and food was delicious, a lot of fresh meat and fish, local produce, live cooking. The only controversial thing is a bit worn out rooms, but it didn’t bother us at all.

Overall a very good choice.
The rooms (wardrobe and bathroom) are outdated, need renovation. But they are well kept clean.
Otherwise the hotel is very nice, not very big, not crowded, very good amenities, beach right there, staff very nice, food is quite good and varied. A very good choice for families.

Everything was very good (service, smiles, food variety, landscape), but the rocks under the water when entering from hotel beach.
I've seen older people (>75) that had real problems when trying to enter the water and they said "we broke our legs here".
Why not remove the rocks (after season) and really ensure a comfortable experience at the seaside for people that come for a 7 days holiday in a Grecotel hotel ??

An outstanding hotel on the island of Crete! Unlike all the other hotels on the Northern coast this one is a bit isolated, meaning it's far off the often bothersome and noisy tourism-plagued locations elsewhere. The staff goes far beyond your expectations in terms of friendliness and service, from receptionist to waiter, from beach guard to cleaning lady. I cannot say one bad word about this little piece of heaven except for some rooms might need some renovations here and there. The hotel director can take great pride in his employees!
