I am currently and have been for the past week at doubletree in Sharm El Sheikh and this has been my experience I'd like to share.
On arrival we didn't receive our warm cookie.
The following day when I had mentioned it to staff, returning back to our room was 4x warm cookies which made us both smile and laugh as they'd gone out of there way to rectify it.
Since then we've had cookies most day when returning to our room.
The hotel guest experience supervisor Ahmed Mahgoub has been brilliant, he's gone above and beyond to make our holiday experience a brilliant one.
He even moved us to a closer room due to the long walk for food each day.
This is due to the pool being so big 😆
Which is no complaint. There's plenty of sunbeds and we have no trouble getting the ones right outside of our room.
We found the food over the doubletree sister hotel to be really enjoyable and we were waited on by Mohamed Ismail who was brilliant. Always happy to see us and would get drinks as soon as yours is finished.
Today my partner went scuba diving from the hotel beach and he said it was the best dive he'd ever done, and the team that took him were very professional.
The private beach is a beautiful cove again enough sunbeds, and there's bar and towel collection point, and if you don't want the walk there is a bus that will take you the short drive.
The main square of you choose to leave the resort is not even a 10 min walk away, which is worth a walk down, this hotel has a great location, very close to the airport and all local amenities.
So overall I can only highly recommend this hotel, the staff are exceptional.
I would definitely come back.

Note the review and the response, again just dismiss the fact I am still here and a simple auto response. Have stayed in the Sharm 8 times and always enjoyed our visits. This would not be a return hotel sadly but are making the best of what we are in right now, after giving some feedback and promised they would get back to us which has not happened. I love all the advertised Cookies on arrival, guess what?! NOT THERE, don’t put it all over the buses! Two sides to this hotel Beach side very nicely done, Mountain a bit dated. Food is average and the Bars are forever running out of beer! Pool Bar side ran out at both Bars at 12pm!! No Vodka on an evening so served Gin instead with no mention.
Staff are okay especially in the (AMAZING) Q Bar which makes up a bit.
Not the best honeymoon I was hoping for all in all.

Positive:
Friendly staff
Large rooms, good beds
Great pools with two different temperatures—one warmer than the other
Good sunbed availability
Shuttle bus to the hotel’s private beach
Breakfast and Desserts (baked goods are of high quality)
Central location: 5-minute walk to Soho Market, 15-minute drive to Naama Bay center
Private coral reef at the hotel beach, offering good snorkeling opportunities
Multiple bars and restaurants at the hotell.
Neutral:
Lunch and dinner were too repetitive and don’t quite match Scandinavian norms for these meals. However, if you’re open to trying new things, the food is good enough for an all-inclusive experience.
Negative:
A lot of sales activity around the pool area, which can be annoying. Ask a lifeguard for a sign indicating that you do not want to be disturbed.
The hotel beach wasn’t great—limited space for sunbeds near the water and few umbrellas.
Recommendations (not related to the hotel):
Download the Indrive app (Egypt’s version of Uber); it offers very competitive prices and is considered safe.
Always negotiate! Almost everything can be bargained for, except in supermarkets and pharmacies. Don’t be afraid to haggle hard—I managed to get an Egyptian papyrus painting down from 2200 to 250 Egyptian pounds.
Be cautious! Vendors, especially in Naama Bay, will try to pull you in and act like friends. They offer drinks and friendship before pressuring you to buy something. Their initial prices are outrageous, and when you say no, they may become irritated, making the situation feel like extortion. Do not accept drinks or gifts from vendors—it can quickly turn into an uncomfortable experience.
Final Review:
DoubleTree by Hilton is a great hotel. Like most Egyptian hotels, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable (though a bit firm), and everything feels very clean. The pool is great, and the beach has a coral reef perfect for snorkeling. However, the beach itself isn’t the best. There is a free blue shuttle bus from the hotel to the beach. The food is decent for an all-inclusive stay, with breakfast and baked goods standing out in particular.
Overall, I can recommend this hotel. Even though we stayed in the older section, the standard was still very high and clean. Thank you for a great stay—I recommend this hotel!

12 of us have stayed in this hotel this week for my 50th Birthday & we have all loved every second of it.
The staff are amazing! Omar on reception, , Sam the henna tattoo guy , Mohammed in the restaurant & Alex from the animation need a huge shout out! Fabulous humans.
Not one of us have any complaints at all. Not even about the food.
We are arranging to come back next year. Thank you to Egypt for giving us a fabulous time 🌞
Also recommend the boat trip out to white island too, stunning 😍

This is an okay hotel, there are nice places to chill, esp. around the pool area. The rooms are outdated when booking; it is not clear that there is another side to this hotel that is much nicer and newer, but it is not fully open yet; it is beachside. The hotel also hosts an event every night; we stayed here for 2 nights, and they told us that the music would stop at 10 pm; however, it carried on until god knows what time- just something to be aware of when booking. The staff are friendly though and will offer to help if you ask them... the food is average. I feel that this hotel is not suited for a couple that wants a quiet, relaxing stay, but suitable for families that want a lot of activities.
