A disappointing experience – I do not recommend Hotel Dosi, Side
I stayed at Hotel Dosi in Side and unfortunately, it was one of the worst vacation experiences I’ve had.
The first room we were given was in terrible condition: a strong rotten smell that wouldn’t go away, extremely stained bed linen, and the air conditioning was not working at all, despite temperatures being 31°C outside. We asked to be moved and the staff relocated us – the second room was okay, clean and functional.
Also, the electricity went out twice in less than a week – unacceptable for a hotel that claims 4 stars.
The food was generally very poor. Few dishes, very repetitive, bland, and lunch was reheated and served again for dinner. Only two out of ten days the food was decent and more varied – those happened to be days when there were inspections at the hotel. Outside those days, the same tasteless meals were served repeatedly, lacking both variety and freshness.
Another major issue: the bar closed very early, and they often ran out of drinks, despite the all-inclusive package. If you wanted a drink after 9 or 10 PM, you were usually out of luck.
Do not buy hookah (shisha) at this hotel – it’s very low quality and nothing like the real Turkish hookah you’d find on the coast.
The only highlights of our stay were the nice stuff, a lovely lady who made excellent pancakes, and a friendly young man at the snack bar who helped maintain a cheerful atmosphere – always smiling and helpful. Sadly, their presence was not enough to save the overall experience.
Conclusion: Hotel Dosi is at best a poorly maintained 3-star hotel with many service failures and basic issues. Definitely not worth the money. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, relaxing, quality vacation in Side. There are many better alternatives in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and cared for—almost like being part of a big, friendly family.
The food was absolutely delicious with a wide variety, including an excellent selection of local dishes. The quality of both soft and alcoholic beverages, as well as the Turkish coffee, was impressive.
Our room was spacious and featured a lovely balcony, perfect for relaxing. The free shuttle service to the beach was a convenient bonus.
A highlight of our stay was the cultural events, especially the Turkish night, which offered special dishes and a truly authentic experience.
The hotel also boasts two large pools equipped with plenty of fun activities for children.
Special thanks to Mr. Sadik, Erhaan, and the entire staff—they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive to our requests.
I highly recommend this hotel. Well done to the whole team—keep up the great work!

This hotel was a very nice surprise compared to the reviews I read online.
Noticeable highlights included were: the evening food, no long lines of waiting anywhere, no pushy sales or hotel staff to buy something.
Some negatives were: hotel room view from parts of the hotel, rooms are a bit outdated and some of the hotel staff didn’t speak English very well. All in all, I’d give the hotel by itself 3 stars, but with good food, friendly staff and overall experience, it’s a solid 4 stars.

Everything was truly wonderful during our holiday. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and made us feel very special. Our room was spotless and cleaned regularly every day. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing.
The food was delicious, especially the breakfast and dinner – it exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed the pool area and the garden, which were perfect for spending the day.
All the staff were very helpful and kind, always answering our questions with patience. Special thanks to the reception team for their support.
In short, we had an unforgettable holiday. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. We’re already thinking about coming back.

My holiday was going wonderfully — everything was perfect. From the very first day, we were warmly welcomed and quickly settled into our room. The food, the cleanliness, and the atmosphere of the hotel were all excellent.
However, in the middle of my stay, I unexpectedly suffered a heart attack and had to be rushed to the hospital. I can truly say that I survived thanks to the reception team. They immediately and calmly organized everything — the ambulance, the doctor, and all the necessary support.
Even after I was discharged from the hospital, they continued to assist us with the insurance process and spent a lot of time helping us through every detail. Their support and kindness were truly unforgettable.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Süleyman, İsmail, Sadık, Oğuzhan, and Erhan. I will never forget what they did for me.
