So, cheap and cheerful place. We have stayed here numerous times.
The cleaning staff and reception should make this place a 5 star! The hotel and rooms let it down. It is cheap, clean and close to all amenities, just very basic. The staff are second to none, I’ve done 5* in the Caribbean with great staff and this lot are just as good!

Stayed in block 1 in an apartment by the pool. Our terrace was a lovely suntrap. The apartment was near bars, restaurants, shops and the beach, with a lovely square very close by. Expected it to be noisy but it was pretty peaceful as our apartment faced inwards.
The apartment consisted of 1 large room with a kitchen area, breakfast bar and sitting room, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with a shower.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed including toaster, kettle, microwave, hob and fridge with freezer compartment. Tea towel, washing up liquid and sponge scourer are provided.
The bedroom had twin beds, blankets are provided. Sheets are changed every 7 days. We asked reception for extra pillows and these were dropped off to us very quickly. There was a large wardrobe with plenty of clothes hangers. A safe is available for an extra charge.
There was a bit of an issue with water pressure in the shower from time to time, possibly due to many people using the water at the same time. Towels are changed every 3 days.
The cleaning staff do a great job - the place was spotless and the apartment was cleaned almost every day and the bins emptied.
Reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable - we enquired about a boat trip to see dolphins and whales and they gave us information about several excursions and then booked the one we chose for us.
Large carpark at the front of the apartments which was handy as we had a hire car.

Where to start! Celeste apartments are ideally located in the heart of CT. We stayed in a superior room in block 2 which if you book you pay more money as these apartments have been refurbished to a very clean, modern standard with what you need for a holiday which includes a microwave, hob, utensils, plates, washing up liquid, tea towel plus more.
The cleaners do a fantastic job and change towels every 3 days, and bed linen every 7 days.
If you are in an apartment downstairs be prepared to hear the noise of chairs and furniture being moved across the floor which can be quite annoying if you want an early night or a lie in bed in the morning.
The downside of Celeste is that people who are staying in other blocks for example 1 or 3 are allowed to come and use the pool in block 2 ( apparently because it is the warmest) the gate key all guests are given fits all blocks. Now, we found this very annoying as there were people from other blocks coming in and putting their towels on sunbeds and also having friends from other hotels into the complex which for us was a security issue and is totally unfair to those who had paid more for a superior room in block 2.
People also had music around the pool which is totally unacceptable, Celeste should be a little more tolerant than to allow this. When we complained to reception their response was to say that they could not do anything until after 10 pm which is laughable as reception is closed at 7 pm. We kindly asked several people to turn it off or down which they adhered to luckily enough.
Celeste staff should be aware that people want a relaxing time around the pool area and not a disco. Maybe have a rule that music should not be played as this can upset other guests'stays.
I also think that guests should have sunbeds on their terrace which would be an added bonus as not everyone wants to lie around the pool when you have your own lovely terrace to lie on.
Celeste just needs to rethink their rules a little and maybe this place would be worth another visit but until then we will not be returning which is a shame as it is only these few points that let our whole experience/stay
down.

We stayed in Apartment 210
The apartment was refurbished and really nice and clean. Two good size bedrooms, walk in shower, good size lounge with plenty of power sockets.
Good size patio that got the sun from about ten in the morning until four in the afternoon.
The staff on reception were great, really professional and friendly, as were the maids.
Plenty of bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk.
So far so good, there was nothing to see from the patio, just four brick walls and there was an extractor pipe for the bars below, so we had the smell of cooking all day. The noise from the bars below was not excessive, but annoying and we got the sounds of delivery to the bars as well. The apartment was opposite the main car park where all the waste bins are, so we had the sounds of those been emptied at six in the morning.
The Celeste isn't cheap and not worth the money with all the above

First time staying here after visiting for nearly 10 years now in Costa Teguise. Great location and the apartment we had facing out towards the main street down to the beach was an added bonus and real suntrap. Will definitely be returning in the not so distant future!!
