Honest review. I am only giving this hotel 2 starts because the service was good the view was beautiful and the room was nice. But none of that is worth it when the lights go out 2 to 5 times a day it was so dark one time I couldn't see my baby standing right in front of me. Thank god she was off playing at any other distance. And thank goodness our grandparents were on the first floor because elevators were out. The water also went out during our stay there. The food in my opinion is not worth it. Very cheap very poorly made we did like the Italian restaurants it was pretty good. Kids club is not secure enough for my liking. And if you have kids I would not recommend getting the preferred package because they don't allow kids in the pool bar area which is where most of our family was so we could not join them.

We recently stayed at Dreams Aventuras in Mexico, and unfortunately, our experience fell below expectations. I do want to start by saying that the staff was truly wonderful—every interaction was warm, friendly, and attentive.
The food quality was extremely low, to the point where we often struggled to find anything enjoyable to eat. Many of the restaurants were consistently closed leaving us only with buffet options most days. Even more concerning, the attention to detail regarding serious food allergies was missed, and the overall handling was sub-par. This created unnecessary stress during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation.
The rooms themselves were decent, but we had a leak on the very first day. After calling maintenance, the issue was “addressed,” yet the leak continued, leaving the floor constantly wet. The tile became dangerously slippery, and I actually ended up resulting in a minor injury. It was frustrating and could have been prevented with more thorough maintenance.
The property overall was also disappointing. There is only one very small beach and just a single pool available for all guests, making the resort feel cramped and limited.
In the end, we relied on renting golf carts to go into town for decent food, as the on-site options were consistently poor. That ended up being our only real solution.
Overall, we left disappointed (but grateful for a vacation!) and would not return. Friendly staff can’t make up for issues with food quality, allergy safety, and room maintenance.

The staff were attentive and the hotel was clean and the rooms modern. This is not a 5 star resort. It's a 3 star at the most. It was difficult to find a lounge chair unless you woke up and secured a location by 8am.
The restaurants seemed to be closed more than they were open. We ended up eating off the the resort for dinner a few times. Lots of great restaurant choices a 5 minute walk away. The point of all inclusive is good food choices that don’t cost extra. The buffet was mediocre with little variety compared to most resorts. Drink quality was poor. Juices tasted like syrup or powder mix.
The restaurant staff constantly asked name and room number in the line up so much so you could over hear other guests information including room their number. I work in hospitality in Canada and room # is something to be kept secure as it poses a safety risk. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that has asked this information prior where other guests can hear. I’ve stayed at resort with and with out resort bracelets and have never seen this. This is something concerning.
This was my 9th all inclusive resort. I won't be trying a dreams again. I was disappointed as I've stayed with Hyatt brand prior and had been impressed. This resort did not meet my expectations.

I booked this trip spontaneously for a three night stay and I paid for the junior room with a tropical view. Check in time was 3 PM, but by 1 PM my room was ready which was great and they also treat you as a guest from the minute you enter the property.
My room was clean and the housekeeping/service was very consistent and detail oriented as they would fold miscellaneous clothes and clean up phone charger cables very creatively.
The pools are nicely built and appear pretty clean and when I was at the resort, it wasn't too busy so I didn't have any problems finding my own space on the pool deck. The beach is nice looking, but is often very dirty and nobody really swims inside of it.
The highlight of my trip may have been the spa as the services were amazing and it's very nice looking which was relaxing and a one of a kind experience.
Just like most parts of Mexico, the food was amazing and I had zero complaints especially with the buffet option.
I'd say this resort maintains its five star resort title well.

Staff superb, hotel super clean. Great venue with great restaurants. Rooms well equipped, beds big and comfy.
Downsides: not many, but attention to detail ie.always providing bath/shower mats. Checking TV remotes work or bedside lights. Little things like that are just a pain for guests!
The restaurants were great and food was good but if you are there for more than 5 days it became repetitive. Preferred club breakfast menu did not really cover or show options. We had toast but only after seeing others order it!! It wasn't on the menu??
