Just superb!...that said, after nearing the end of our 12 night now, I can add: buy the meal offer, it's usually 60€ each, but if you book for 3 nights, you get it for 1/2 price, which is great value and it's an all you can eat buffet style, beware, a 1€ bottle of water will cost you 5€ in the restaurant and they really push you to buy.
Rooms are cleaned daily, complimentary shower gel etc is good quality. There's no rush in the early hours to bag a great sunbed, there's loads of them so you don't need to be British about it !! Breakfast is great, again all you can eat.
An on site shop would be great, it would save having to walk to the local store to buy things you need.

We went as a Party of 3 in the fast half of July 2024. Check-in time was from 15:00 but we were very fortunate to get our room sooner. We were served a welcome drink at reception, that was very pleasant. Thank you to Elana Avila, front office reception, who answered my email questions and in person ones. . We got a dietary / allergies card to show at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
Once checked in, our luggage was carried to our nearby room on a trolley. Our rooms facilities included Tea & coffee, Capsule coffee machine, Air-conditioning, Fan, Wi-Fi, Bathrobes, Slippers, Towels, Excellent Quality Toiletries, TV and Furnished balcony. Unfortunately, we had no face cloths and spare sockets to plug in our devices without unplugging the lights.
We had booked the Half board Option. The Hot and Cold Breakfast Buffet was plentiful and served in the La Florida Buffet Restaurant and included champagne, choices of teas, coffees, juices, Milk (NO Rice or Coconut.) The water melon was sweet like sugar. The chef cooked my Omelette using my additional ingredients, excellent. The hash browns & the sautéed mushrooms completed my plate. Chef Nathalie (Belgium) got fresh coriander and jalapeños for breakfast chef to use for me. She also cooked a vegetarian (verduras) sausage & tofu burger, that was excellent. Monica, brough me some chocolate ice-cream to make my milkshake and got me almond milk. On the last morning of our stay, she also got me the recipe for the delicious Picante Houmous served a few days prior on the Mexican Themed night. She was very attentive & helpful and always had a smile.
The Dinner Buffets was also served in the La Florida Buffet Restaurant. We showed our Allergies/vegetarian card nighty to the manager at the entrance and were taken to our table. A dish was then made for us by Chef Pepe. The food was nicely presented. Very limited options for vegetarians. Items like Tofu and plant-based meat substitute dishes would be a welcome. The individual lasagne was the tastiest dish we had. There were Lebanese; Oriental, Mexican, Italian and International Themed nights. Desserts was my favourite part & the Dark Chocolate ice-cream was perfect.
What was surprising was drinking water was not provided with the halfboard meal. Not everyone wants to have alcohol, detracts from the flavours that the chef is attempting to create. Then to pay for water is frankly adding insult to injury.
So for me, the Breakfast element was the more satisfying.
I used the complimentary 1 use Spa card given by hotel reception during check-in. Veronica was at the Wellness centre (Spa), extreme polite, helpful and informative. I thoroughly enjoyed the Sauna & Steam Room, jacuzzi and pool with the water massage jet & gentle water curtain. It was heaven. I treated my wife to a paid foot massage which she thoroughly enjoyed. There are many paid services, ask Veronica. My wife and daughter were not able to use their complimentary Spa as it is closed on Sundays. There is no indoor swimming pool for general use. There is a large shallow outdoor pool that is usable, surrounded by free Sun loungers & parasols.
Table Tennis - Initially very poorly sighted outdoors with gust blowing across the table, but after intervention, was moved indoors. The side support holding the net is broken. The Scalextric setup is not functional. Out of the 4 tracks, only 2 have power & the cars move about 2 inches & stop. 1 car has front wheels missing. Scalextric should be Withdrawn from the weekly activities list until repaired. The evening Fire eaters show by the swimming pool was mesmerising. Pavarotti and friends concert indoor was Truely fabulous. Performers Ruben, Valentina & Alejandro were great. Valentina Catalano, in particular, was incredible. There was an Excellent Volcano / Lava inspired projection light show with music, on the Dome of the central ceiling near reception, very relaxing.
We had a really enjoyable 7 days, thanks to all the Livvo Volcan staff. Please act on the suggestions raised to improve future guests experience.
Gracias

The hotel is overrated, and ads are not up to date. For example the mattress is in bad shape and you really feel the springs. The room is not soundproof and the noise in the hallway is often annoying. What about food? -- The hotels provides breakfast and dinner buffets which do not really change, everyday frozen food and untasty fruits. Local and fresh food is idle. the big problem is how to make yourself understood! google translate is your best friend in such a case :).
I enjoyed being and eating outside, the marina is close to the hotel and there are many restaurants to enjoy local food, malls to buy goods and drinks, taxis and buses to join the downtown and are cheap. Fortunately the isle is full of stuff you can do and visit and make you enjoy your stay.
I found that the hotel is beneath its reputation, too expensive for what it offers and maybe there are better locations in the isle. As i said renewal of equipment is urgent, better fresh and local food should be a priority.
Overall stop considering people herds of tourists.
Holidays must be enjoyed fully and unfortunately it is not my case. I do not eat beauty and do not sleep on beauty of the hotel. medium food and bad mattress are not beautiful.

Lovely hotel with great pools and excellent staff. Breakfast is outstanding. Evening buffet is limited in terms of choice, but good quality food. Drinks are expensive. Difficult to find shade around the main pool (umbrellas are fixed and only one for every two beds). Close to lots of shops and restaurants and a beautiful coastal cliff walk.

Absolutely stunningly beautiful. This hotel is amazing. From the moment you arrive. You will be amazed how clean, how helpful the staff are and how you're glad you booked to stay.
3 different pools, 3 different restaurants. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. We are BB breakfast. What a variety there is plenty for every taste. The hotel is 100m to the harbour. There are plenty of restaurants to try. This is our 3rd year of coming here, and we will be booking for 2024. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
