Came back earlier today. First visit, usually go to Lanzarote Princess, but came here, as thought it was more suitable for a 2 year old.
Lovely welcome and booking in when we arrived at10pm and offered free drinks too. Room was good a superior triple room with a pool view, which was a nice surprise, only downside was no toilet door, just a screen, which really wasn’t happy about. No kettle provided, but got one straightaway when we asked for one. Absolutely spotless and plenty of storage too. Room cleaned, towels replaced, loo rolls provided daily by Daniela, who left us a lovely message on bathroom mirror, which was a nice personal touch. Had my 2 year old grandson with us and he loved the kids club and evening disco. The animation team, Silvia, Sara,Imara and Nira were great with the kids and all the activities too, always on the go and were always happy to help. Thought the credits payment system was really good idea, used ours for drinks some days or pool bar, if we ate out some days. Good choice of food at breakfast but would’ve liked beans/sausages rather than the vegetables provided. Few health and safety issue’s, kids club had concrete flooring and the bouncy animals were very unsteady, so potential for some nasty accidents. Some stairs need to have more handrails, easy to slip fall if a little unsteady.

We went here on holiday in September, it was amazing. The Coeliac Travel Consultant kindly sorted it for us. The staff definitely make the place, we'd a great experience with Beatrice , she was one off the Guest Relation officers, also with Javi who was in the Restaurant, they very kindly sorted a problem out for me. Renia in reception was also very, very helpful. The room we had was great, lovely bathroom, little sitting room, nice big bedroom. Outside our room was a clothes dryer and a little two seat bistro set. We were beside the pool, for me this was great as I have a few disabilities. The food!!! OMG was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic, they had a separate corner for those like me with Coeliac, with fresh bread, cereal, buns absolutely brilliant. Then the buffet was totally delicious, you could have go up as many times as you wanted too. The buffet in the evening was powerful, they did a Spanish night, pork night, beef night and a Mexican night. Every night the chef would show and explain to me what was safe for me too eat. They also did a chocolate brownie and a lemon cake for me plus the chef one night made me a delicious caramel custard, out off this world. Pictures below off breakfast and dessert.
They also have an A La Cart Restaurant which was lovely. They also have a Spa, I went twice and it was very enjoyable. One thing I think they could do is clean the sunbeds, they were a bit grubby.
Also don't touch the prickly pears around the complex!! They are prickly as people soon found out, not only when you touch them initially, but they have tiny little thorns which really hurt. Picture below.
We would definitely go back again, 5/5 Mynd, thank you all for our lovely stay and too The Coeliac Travel Consultant for arranging it. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

The most amazing hotel and the staff made it exceptional. Have never been made to feel so welcome and the staff are the friendliest we have ever had. They made such an effort with our daughter and came to say goodbye before we left. The animation team made up of Silvia, Imara and Sara were wonderful and our 3 and a half year old daughter was dancing every night. The food was exceptional in the restaurant and we booked every night. I tried steak and for not a big meat eater I ended up having it a couple of times after as was lovely. The buffet restaurant we only went to once as we discovered the ala carte restaurant but the food was really good in there. The only recommendation I can make is have sausages and baked beans for breakfast time. Carmen and Carlos in the restaurant made our daughter feel so happy and spent time talking to her and making her laugh! Can’t recommend enough and the spa is also wonderful. I had a back massage and facial treatment and it was better than spas I have been to in the UK. Marcos on the bar was a brilliant font of knowledge and explained to me places on the island that are good to visit and he said goodbye just before getting the coach home which made me feel even more sad to be leaving! Our room was very clean and comfortable. A short walk from the beach and had a little shop in the hotel if we needed anything. Drinks were good and had a large menu choice. Recommend to families and couples.

Love chilling at this laid back resort hotel. I can not really fault it however a couple of areas could move it from great to exceptional for a 4 star hotel in my opinion.
Get better bacon for the breakfast buffet. Have some real butter for the otherwise lovely bread. Update 11/10/25 butter arrived at breakfast 😋
Outside of this some guests are just plain selfish. The hotel rules are not to reserve sunbeds. There are plenty but there are a lot now reserving there favourite spots at 7am and not turning up for hours.
All in favour of removing towels 👍👍😎

Spotless rooms very well maintained by Mary lovely toiletries - grounds are beautifully kept - a little oasis
Toilet is see through- you can see who is in there very clearly - if you step in the room the door runs in line to the toilet ! The door does not shut properly and has a half inch gap all way round it! You need to travel with someone you know well’
The shower is next to the toilet cannot be seen and has different glass which you cannot see through - it did smell initially but this was quickly resolved
The evening buffet is certainly not worth €28 euros - lots of lovely restaurants around to try - the a la carte is not good either - we tried it twice - the food is too salty to eat and is the same menu each night
I did ask reception where I could spend the euros on the card - she laughed and said alcohol! Suffice to say we have tried but I believe there is over €100 euros left in our card
We have stayed in Playa Blanca many times - and the food is not up to the standard of the other hotels
Such a shame as it could be a little gem
