Don't be fooled by the picture's. We booked this and upgrades to a superior room but the company we booked with booked it through another company who booked a basic room. Well if that room was a basic room I would hate to see a tip of a room. The doors to the balcony wouldn't lock, the pillows were yellow, the fridge was dirty and rusty. We complain to the front desk and the young girl who was dealing with us was going to put us in the right room but the manager got involved, and to say he was obnoxious and rude is an understatement.
The bar and restaurant staff were all nice and polite, couldn't do enough for you. The food was edible but the selection was very poor. We sat by the pool next to the slides but only 4 or 5 peoplw went in and said it was freezing and that was over a 7 day period.I would have given it 1 star but 2 stars are for the staff that I mentioned before. Apologies for not remembering any names but all nice and polite.
Would I recommend going here,NO, unless it's for the sun. I never write reviews for hotels but this had to be said. The reason for me taking a picture of my socks was to show how dirty the floor was. They did eventually put us in to a better room which was described as deluxe, it was better and cleaner but definitely not deluxe.

What can I say. I love Egypt very much for the guaranteed heat and the fantastic snorkelling / sea. This is our 1st time to hurghada and wanted to be in the city. The hotel it self was disappointing, at no time when booking did it say the bbq, Italian restaurant and restaurant pool being out of service. The standard of rooms very disappointing but it’s Egyptian standard which i understand. The gardens and gardeners were very busy and looked nice but being woken by their generators at 8 is harsh. It’s a building site on all sides and the main reception, the noise was continuous. The food was ok but drinks pretty lame. We were the only English at one point with the majority being Russian which wasn’t a problem but just to point out. The staff were attentive but sometimes had to be harsh if wanted to be left alone on the beach. And didn’t want to be asked to borrow some money from one member of staff as in trouble to then be paid back by a male who would meet us on beach following day ( needless to say we didn’t pay ). We went for snorkelling but this too was disappointing from the hotel beach. There was hardly any life in sea, this probably doesn’t help with the 6 boats leaving all their rubbish at the bottom of the ocean where they park up in the cove. We was sold the boat trip ( only 25€) as orange bay , 2 x snorkelling and water sports trip. The water sports was a joke, one small loop on an inflatable either banana or sofa. Orange bay is a cattle market where you are shipped in and have 1of 50 areas that boats descend their cargo (us) too for 90 minutes of pleasure being sardined onto a small beach ( and this was off season) high season would be extremely grim. We had 2 snorkel stops which were ok but not what I’ve seen in sharm . The positive of this hotel is the city location ( mind you the constant noise coming from the city which you can hear in your room). The city is an experience and the marina is a huge surprise and such a contrast to the main city drag and rest of Egypt. It’s so clean and the restaurants nice. Had camel steak for the first time ( it’s a must ) and decent wine and reasonably priced . Normally when I’m all inclusive I don’t want to spend money on food and drink else where but this was definitely worth doing . So much so we did twice in a week.

Hotel Regine is a great place if you’re looking to relax but also have fun with some cool activities. The animation team definitely makes a difference here—they keep the atmosphere lively and engaging. Would recommend if you’re into a balance of chill time and activities!

Alexandra from animation is so friendly and nice. I’ve been coming to Regina for 5 years now and have seen a massive improvement. The animation team is really good this time. Very attentive service. The location is great, right in the middle of Sheraton Street so easy access to everything you could want. The beach is very big with lots of space.

We stayed at ZYA Regina Resort in January and experienced both positives and drawbacks. The hotel had ongoing construction, with the main pool, BBQ zone, and Italian restaurant out of service. However, the food was good—we ate everything without any stomach issues. Alcohol quality could be improved. Since it was off-season, the hotel wasn’t crowded. The beach was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Hazem at the beach, Aldo for massages, and Saiid, who made the best drinks! Some excursion sellers at the hotel beach were too persistent. Rooms were clean, though bed sheets seemed worn. Morning noise from grass cutting at 9 AM was a bit disturbing. Overall, we liked the hotel for its good location and welcoming staff, but it’s more of an economy-class option.
