I just returned from my stay at this hotel, and if this place is considered a 5-star establishment, then Greggs must be gourmet dining!
To start, 80% of the staff were unfriendly and seemed indifferent to guests' needs. The remaining 20% were only slightly better—definitely not what I expected for a supposedly high-end hotel.
Upon entering my room, I was greeted with dirt and, shockingly, shards of glass on the floor. After my young son got cut, I had to take matters into my own hands and call for a cleaner. This place is far from child-friendly; the low glass barriers on each floor pose a serious risk for young children who could easily climb over.
The state of the rooms was appalling. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, wallpaper was peeling, and various fixtures were falling apart. I was disappointed to find no kettle, iron, slippers, or bathrobes—basic amenities that are standard in any respectable 5-star hotel.
On a positive note, the food was decent with a good variety, but the bizarre policy regarding non-alcoholic mojitos was absurd. When my friend asked the manager why they wouldn't serve them, he claimed it was too much work. Really?
The pool was clean but overcrowded, and the beach was one of the worst I’ve encountered. The hotel’s location is terrible—right next to a busy road with no shops or restaurants nearby. Everything required a taxi ride.
Even during checkout, not once was I asked how my stay was or if I enjoyed my time. If it hadn’t been for the company of my friends, this trip would have been one of my worst vacations. Would I return? Only if they paid for my flights and gave me a free stay! Avoid this hotel if you can.

Terrible Experience: Hostility, Intimidation, and Invasion of Privacy for Leaving a Fair Review
Our family stayed here expecting a relaxing holiday but instead encountered hostility, unprofessional behavior, and poor service that turned our trip into a nightmare.
First, this hotel is at best a three-star establishment, despite being advertised as five-star. While the buffet food was substandard, and none of the other restaurants were open as advertised, we were initially willing to overlook these issues if we could at least get a decent night’s sleep. Unfortunately, the noise starting at 6 a.m. as we were directly over a barrel yard that is stacked full early in the morning then continually dragged around was unbearable, and when we requested a quieter room, we were shown costly upgrades that still didn’t meet our family’s needs (we needed 4 beds and we were happy to pay but they said they were fully booked).
After hours of attempting to speak with a manager, we left a one-star review reflecting our honest experience. From that moment, the staff’s attitude shifted drastically, becoming hostile and intimidating. They even sent seven staff members to confront us, demanding that we leave simply because of the review. Things went from uncomfortable to outright intrusive: staff members (not cleaners) entered our rooms unannounced on two occasions. This included an incident where a man entered just as my 15-year-old daughter was stepping out of the shower—a deeply unsettling invasion of privacy.
On day two, the hotel suggested moving us to another so-called “five-star” hotel which, according to TripAdvisor, has a rating of just 3 out of 10. Not only was this unacceptable, but they also expected us to pay hundreds more for this downgrade. Instead, we moved to a hotel of our own choosing—a lower star but significantly better in every way this has cost £2k out of pocket.
Throughout this ordeal, we remained calm yet were met with intimidation, disregard, and a complete lack of professionalism. This place feels more like a three-star mob ran resort, with appalling service and an unsafe, hostile environment. Please think twice before booking here if you value respectful customer service, safety, and a peaceful holiday.
Love Holidays’ Response: A Total Lack of Support
Love Holidays sold us this package but sided with the hotel, warning us via email with no evidence or clear violation that if the hotel decided to remove us, they wouldn’t assist. Although our only approach was to follow Love Holidays’ advice by calmly addressing the issues at reception, they ignored our repeated requests for help. We never raised our voices, holding back our frustration and anger out of fear of further intimidation. Despite this, we were asked in writing by an agent at the hotel to leave on day two of our 10-day holiday due to our review.
Love holidays also stated that the hotel is at full occupancy so couldn’t accommodate the request. However the hotel was dead as it is out of season and love holidays are continuing to sell all of the rooms in multiples for the dates of our trip.
Love Holidays offered no support whatsoever, and we will be pursuing a formal ABTA complaint and civil claim against them for their handling of this distressing experience.

The food was okay, though there was little variation from day to day. Turkish night was a highlight as they served kebabs, which offered something different. However, overall, the food was bland and lacked spice or flavor.
Drinks were decent, although the spirits seemed watered down. The cocktails and soft drinks were good, and the beer served was Efes, which was nice.
The bar staff were lovely, especially those in the lobby bar. Reception staff were fine, but it often felt like they weren’t very eager to help. The entertainment staff, on the other hand, were fantastic.
The Wi-Fi was atrocious. It barely worked, and when it did, it was extremely slow—it could hardly send a message through Messenger. Not what I would expect from a “5-star hotel.”
The room itself was good and clean upon arrival. We had a partial sea view, although we mostly looked out at some apartments. We could only see the sea if we looked toward the far end of the balcony. The TV and mini fridge did not work.
Entertainment was enjoyable, with activities and music throughout the day. Evening entertainment started at 9 pm with a mini disco, and bingo was available on certain days at a cost of €15. Different shows were held every night except Sunday, when there was live music in the lobby bar. The evening entertainment took place across the road from the hotel in an annex belonging to the resort. This annex was outdoors and open to the weather, without any shelter.
The hotel was not exactly “dirty,” but it didn’t feel fully clean either. There were marks on the walls in the lobby and stains on the floors, and the pool had dirt between the tiles. However, the rooms were cleaned daily and to a high standard.
In terms of location, there isn’t much around the hotel—no shops or other hotels nearby. There’s a motorway close to the hotel near the pool area, which can get loud during the day but wasn’t too disruptive at night.
Overall, the hotel did not feel like a 5-star experience. Based on my impressions and experience, I would rate it more as a 3-star hotel at best.

We read all the bad reviews before we came and I was honestly going to change hotels I'm so glad I didn't we've had a great time, as with any holiday there are pros and cons so here is my honest opinion.
The rooms are clean and spacious, there always seemed to be a cleaner on hand and even when we needed some toilet roll one night this was delivered to our room no problem, we were in the Annex and our cleaner was always happy, smiling and chatty, and couldn't do enough for us.
We had no problems getting a sunbed some mornings we didn't get to the pool until 10am and there was always beds available I didn't see anyone putting towels down at silly hours, the pools were spotless and we'll looked after.
The Animation team were great they worked really hard and always were on hand for advice and help, they were great with the kids, however they did tell my 9 year old daughter she couldn't do water aerobics and then allowed another child to join in, which upset my little un.
Food was always well prepared and plentiful but getting your table cleaned and dishes taken away sometimes was not done or the service was slow, also staff in the restaurant were either dead happy or dead miserable.
The bars at night time was where there could of been a massive improvement, the staff were good and worked hard but to only have one bar on at any time and only one member of staff on that bar getting served could take a while especially as people were ordering 4 or 5 drinks so they didn't have a 15 minute wait each time.
The hotel itself is clean well kept, but is a taxi ride from anywhere, but the reception staff will always get you a taxi and they came quite quickly.
Beware of holiday reps baring gifts, any trip they can offer you can get online for cheaper and don't fall into the free lift to a restaurant scam, we did 2 pizzas and a steak with a couple of drinks cost us £159 and when we wanted to leave they refused hoping we would spend more money we didn't and in the end they shoehorned us into minbus with loads of other people from different hotels who had also fell for the free trip scam, however this wasn't the hotel it was the holiday rep.
Wi-Fi is available throughout but can be hit and miss at times
This hotel isn't bad it's not 5 star but it's also not as bad as some of the reviews I would rate it as a 3 1/2 star, for what we paid and what we got I would stay here again, however I think I would want to be more nearer shops etc next time, and I could also imagine the time of year we came, October was a quieter time than some of the other reviews on here.
One last point we upgraded to a lateral sea view and even though we were happy with our room I felt this wasn't an upgrade the view was of an allotment opposite and we had to practically hang off our balcony to see a small view of the sea.

Wouldn't class it as 5 star!!! Some staff where lovely, most looked miserable and weren't really bothered. Queues at the bar. 1 server most times. Alcohol and i use that lightly!!! Was very poor. Cocktails were non existent. One pool loud, the other at the Annex was quieter. Really busy road across from the hotel. Beach looked like a builder's yard. Wouldn't recommend. Avoid like the plague
