Booked a two bedroom family suite, but upon arrival were placed in one large space with 4 beds (so not separate bedrooms) - which was not convenient traveling with two little kids. After some perseverance and with help of our local travel agency agent, the next day we were offered an alternative suite which did meet our expectations. From that point onwards the remainder of the holiday was great! Great location, small scale resort, kids club was superb, food was tasty, drinks okay but some very sweet. Would recommend!

The view was great from our room, with decent furnisher more boutique then modern. The housekeeper Lady was great with being flexible with our personal schedule making our trip more stress free and enjoyable. Definitely recommend this place to relax and blow some steam.

Large package tourist hotel set out in a series of low rise apartment buildings.
Good location on the coast and just a short stroll from the town.
Food is fine (apart from the oddly empty a la carte greek restaurant) and staff mainly friendly (apart from the occasional frosty receptionist).
Some elements (room fittings, sun beds, tennis court) slightly shabby.
Unheated pools a big minus as by October they were just too cold to use for more than 15 mins

Had a lovely holiday at Vasia Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Great entertainment and music at the Cotton bar and learned some of the local language from Esma the bar man.Sisi is also a stunning little town with a cute harbor. For sure we will be visiting again

My family and I stayed at Vasia Resort and Spa in July for 7 nights, and unfortunately, it did not live up to its 5-star claim.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a receptionist who was notably rude, setting a negative tone for our stay.
The food was a major disappointment: The menu seemed to consist mainly of heavy, winter-style dishes like stews, which were neither appealing nor appropriate for the warm summer weather. We were surprised and frustrated that there were no options for grilled fish or seafood, despite being in Greece, a country renowned for its fresh seafood. The lack of variety and the absence of lighter, seasonally appropriate meals made dining at the resort a monotonous and unsatisfying experience.
The rooms were outdated, with old furniture and visible plumbing pipes from the spa visible from our balcony. The cleanliness was also an issue. We encountered cockroaches on three separate occasions in our room. The first time we reported it, we were assured the room would be sprayed, but two days later, another large cockroach appeared. Despite our repeated complaints, the response from the staff was minimal, and the issue was never properly addressed.
After all our complaints about the cockroach problem, we received no compensation or effective resolution from the hotel. The lack of response was particularly distressing, as it was traumatizing to have to sleep in the same room after encountering cockroaches. We expected better treatment and more consideration given the severity of the issue. The disregard for our concerns significantly impacted our stay and left us feeling unsettled throughout our visit
Additionally, ants and mosquitos were everywhere due to doors being left open frequently.
On the day of our departure, we woke up at 2 a.m. for our 3:30 a.m. transfer and found yet another cockroach in our room. Despite assurances from reception that the room had been sprayed that day, the issue persisted. When we complained, the reception dismissed it as normal due to the warm island climate. However, having stayed in destinations like Cancun, the Maldives, and the Dominican Republic, where cockroaches were never an issue, this response felt inadequate and dismissive of our concerns.
The water park was also concerning. Several tiles were broken, creating a significant safety hazard, especially for children. Plus, there was no lifeguard.
We were also charged €10 per day for air conditioning, but the system was kept off during meals and other times, which made the heat unbearable.
Overall, the experience at Vasia Resort and Spa was far from the luxury we anticipated, and I would not recommend this resort based on our stay.
