Most staff were friendly, room was clean, good location. Only complaint was enquired at reception if we could keep our room on the next day as our flight was late evening and we would have to vacate our room at 11am, we were told by the lady at reception that the hotel was fully booked but we could use the shower at the pool and communal toilets, this did not appeal to us so we went on booking. com to book an alternative hotel for the day when to our astonishment Castello village resort were advertising rooms available. We booked a room and went back to reception to let the lady know rooms were available and no explanation or apology was given to us. We will not be back.

Stayed two weeks here. The staff are great, the hotel is a bit shabby and needs some work doing to it, the main light didn't work in our bedroom. The food is good but can feel a bit repetitive, same as all inclusive hotels. In the whole we have had a great stay here and would recommend getting the sea view room.

I went to this hotel with my mom a few years ago but i only have good things to say! The first positive thing was that me and my mom arrived very late (11pm) from the airport, and the hotel staff had made us a plate with food to eat, which was extremely nice. The position of the hotel is great, very close to the beach. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and available, they helped us with every request! The building was very beautiful and well organised, with beautiful pools and a spa. We had an amazing stay and we highly reccomend this hotel.

The hotel was ok rooms cleaned daily. No issues with cats in the outside eating areas only ever one cat . Always on the floor never tables or chairs. Usual holiday resort only shops and bars locally. Only let down was the food in the restaurant was only just aired never hot . What makes this hotel is the staff they work such long hours but are always very pleasant. Michael the restaurant manger is a very caring man went to the reception and came back to me with mosquito plug in for me after I had shown him the bites . And he even came to reception to say goodbye on the day we were going home. Really relaxing hotel so would recommend and I would definitely visit again

I regret to say that my experience at this hotel was highly disappointing. Despite the advertised beach access, there was no direct access to the beach, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property. The service in the restaurant was also far below expectations – the waitstaff were unfriendly and unaccommodating, which made dining there an unpleasant experience. To make matters worse, the rooms were infested with cockroaches, making our stay extremely uncomfortable and unhygienic. Adding to the frustration, when we arrived, we discovered that the hotel had overbooked and there was no available room, even though we had prepaid for our stay. The lack of organization and accountability was shocking. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone and sincerely hope they address these serious issues for future guests.

A lovely hotel right on the sea front. About 10 min walk across the other side of the harbour but 2 min walk to other shops/bars. There is a cove across the road from hotel with clear waters to swim in. You can watch the small boats come in. The hotel has 2 pools, one has the pool bar with big selection of food and drinks, plenty of places to sit, the other pool is nice too and quiet for a relax. Both very clean. There is also a grassy place to sit and hear the sea and relax on sunbeds. The lady at the pool bar was lovely, Athena I think her name was and the other lady in the restaurant Georgia was real nice. Please thank them. All staff were friendly. Breakfast & dinner at the restaurant was lovely and plenty to choose from with different varieties too each day. We paid/booked a garden view but unfortunately we didn’t get that. It was a nice quiet room but balcony looked over a side road but it was ok though as there was a big tree to block us and it was a quiet side road. The whole holiday was fantastic. I would definitely recommend staying here for couples and Adults rather than kids.

Located in Crete. It is about a 30-minute drive from the International airport at Heraklion. The hotel is located just by the sea and it is a sight to see. The hotel has a large lounge at the reception area, and of course, it is wheelchair accessible. The receptionists are quite friendly and professional. They provide breakfast and dinner. Although the dinner doesn't come with water- you would need to pay for that separately. The dining area is pretty close to the lounge - it is next to it. The dining and lounge oversees a measurable swimming area with a guard. The poolside has got a sitting area where people can relax and order drinks. If that is not interesting enough, you may take a stroll just outside the resort, and the beautiful sea is before you. There are sunbathing seats with umbrellas present here. This hotel has also got a spa, an additional swimming pool, air-conditioned, and spacious rooms that have also got patios. Depending on what room you choose, you can give a garden-view or sea-view( look could be overlooking the sea) As far as I know, there are two people and three people rooms which have got 2 beds and 3 beds respectively. This is a hotel I would recommend any day.

We stayed in Maritimo Beach Hotel in mid-August 2024 for 2 weeks. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean with daily cleaning, there is no room safe, a kettle with tea and coffee making if needed, a small fridge to store drinks that can be bought from the supermarket up the road. The area aroundpool is on the small side with sunbeds that could do with being renewed. The swimming pool is good for children as it is not too deep, was only 1.3 to 1.4 meters depth. The grass area below the pool is the place to go if you are looking for a quiet place to sunbath. The restaurant area is spacious and clean with a great area for dining outside. The food was a bit of a letdown for a 4-star hotel. The food was adequate but not exciting it seemed that once the food had gone, there was no more even when dining at 7.30 pm this was the same at breakfast. Compared to the 4-star hotel, we stayed in last year in Rhodes. Would stay here again only doing B&B

Nice hotel with a 24h reception. The breakfast as well as the dinner are pretty good but you have to know that no drinks are included at the dinner. The rooms aren’t huge but fair enough for the price (with aircon). The main pool ist very crowed but with a nice view. The pool bar is okay but you must wait pretty long. The next village is just a 5 minutes walk away with nice restaurants and shops.

The hotel has a great view of the beach, the breakfast is pretty good and the staff is amazing but it says on booking that there's a safe in the room but it's behind the reception desk and it's pretty small. Also, the deepest pool was 1.8 meters so don't count on jumping in or diving

Booked a two bedroom family suite, but upon arrival were placed in one large space with 4 beds (so not separate bedrooms) - which was not convenient traveling with two little kids. After some perseverance and with help of our local travel agency agent, the next day we were offered an alternative suite which did meet our expectations. From that point onwards the remainder of the holiday was great! Great location, small scale resort, kids club was superb, food was tasty, drinks okay but some very sweet. Would recommend!

Please do not believe any poor reviews. This resort is a quiet resort in a great location. Receptionists and managers were lovely. Room was lovely and cleaned every day by a lovely housekeeping team. All staff were so helpful and so nice. The food selection at all meal times was excellent. The resort is kept to a very high standard and cleanliness is also a very high standard. I would highly recommend this resort especially for families they have a variety of pools and a kids club!

The view was great from our room, with decent furnisher more boutique then modern. The housekeeper Lady was great with being flexible with our personal schedule making our trip more stress free and enjoyable. Definitely recommend this place to relax and blow some steam.

I felt we got very good value for our money spending our week long vacation here. The staff were very nice and hospitable, the food definitely above average for the price category. The animation team did a great job entertaining our kids (8 and 10 y/o) with their daily events, especially the disco. We very much enjoyed the privacy of the hotel beach as well as the pool. At any time we could get drinks and small snacks from the bar. Initially we had some issues with the AC in our room, but those were quickly resolved. The rooms are not the shiniest to be sure, but you won't be spending that much time in them anyway, so we didn't find that to be a big deal. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family vacation.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure every guest felt welcomed and comfortable. They even gifted us a nice package of local goodies before we left. The hotel itself is like a slice of paradise – stunning views and a beautiful beach just steps away. It’s small, very private territory surrounded by mountains. It’s seems like you don’t need outside world, because everything is right here. The cocktails options were great (try green apple martini) and food was delicious, a lot of fresh meat and fish, local produce, live cooking. The only controversial thing is a bit worn out rooms, but it didn’t bother us at all.

nice staff, everyone helpful but except for Rosemary at reception. Also when we arrived, even if we booked and asked months before for a cot, there was no cot in our room. When we were outside the room someone randomly entered our room and put a cot. I know it’s a hotel, but there’s no need to enter the room without asking our permission. We also asked for a double bed as our baby sleeps between us, but they didn’t give us a double bed and only brought a mattress topper, which made it even worse. Overall, I do not recommend this place.

Absolute gem of a hotel. Hidden away and far from the crowds. Beach side hotel. Secluded location. Fabulous pool. Delicious food. Great service. Rooms were a bit disappointing and very hot! Air conditioning on but set so couldn't change which made the room uncomfortable. Bathroom quite basic however, the rest of the hotel was fantastic. Staff were wonderful. All inclusive with free use of pedalo and kayak when not too windy.

Amazing hotel. We are in a swim up room, and it has been perfect. Few niggles with the room as I think we are the first ever guests to stay in it, however they were all sorted out quickly. The service is excellent, the staff are all very friendly. We are here on a bed and breakfast tariff, and the breakfast has been great. I wouldn't bother with evening meals or lunch, there are so many nice tavernas around that do fantastic food, as tourists we need to keep them in business.

We had a very relaxing and tranquil stay at Castello Boutique. We stayed in one of the suites with sea view and infinity pool which are amazing, we enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise from our balcony. The staff were very welcoming, Aphrodite and Christina on reception were particularly helpful. Good breakfast spread and clean facilities. Recommend going early for breakfast if you like hot/warm food. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants only 5 mins walk away. There is a lot of building works within the vicinity but this didn’t affect our stay in any way. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the gym is inadequate for a 5 star facility. Needs air con and better variety of equipment. Also the air con on our floor stopped working one night and the heat was unbearable to sleep. The night porter really tried to help but moving room at 3am wasn’t ideal.

No negative, all the staff are amazing can’t do enough the managed are about and make a point of speaking to you . It is spotless clean the maids speak and helpful . It is central to everything. The beds and pillows are very comfortable good bedding white towels not grey looking ., Nice swimming pool indoor is a very warm one . It’s nice to have staff making a point of speaking to you , had a week now another to go can’t see it been any difference as everyone is so natural well done thank you for a fantastic holiday

Im sorry to say that I came home after a week here feeling disappointed and still feeling aggrieved at the cost for such poor quality. Lots of plus points -excellent, friendly staff, very clean etc but I was very disappointed with the food, quality and selection were very poor for such an expensive holiday. Very limited choices of main courses and most were cheap cuts of meat prepared into local dishes. I have to say the turkey roll was disgusting - tasteless, full of gristle and bits of bones and no special diets meals for my wife who is intolerant to gluten. The food was nearly always cold despite being in heated containers and portions small - a very thin pork chop cut in half!! What's that about? I should have booked B&B only and used the many local eateries My other 'beef' is the superior swim up room which was very nice but the private sun lounging area and pool, didnt see the sun after midday so definitely not worth the extra money. We could only sunbathe outside our room for about an hour first thing in the morning before the day heated up so the pool was very cold too! We could have had a 2 week 5* holiday with much better food for the price

We had an amazing stay at the Castello Boutique Hotel and it's fair to say they saved our holiday. We had originally booked a 7 night hotel stay around 20 mins away in Koutouloufari but had such a bad experience with staff and the room that we checked out after only one night. We looked online and found the Castello Boutique and drove over to see if they had an availability. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating - showing us the room that was available before booking us in for 6 nights. The room was fantastic - really clean with a super comfortable bed and with the bonus of a hot tub! Facilities at the hotel were outstanding - a fantastic spa with a lovely indoor pool and gym and beautiful outdoor pool area. The breakfast buffet was great - a great selection of hot & cold options and number of traditional local favourites too. The evening a la carte menu was also outstanding - brilliant traditional food with a modern twist and brilliant value. However, it was the staff who made this such a great stay. Every member of the staff throughout the entire hotel were not only professional but also incredibly welcoming and friendly and more than happy to go above and beyond to help. It was a true pleasure to stay here and we can't recommend it highly enough!
