This is on a busy main beach road. There are sun beds on the "deck" area. You have to be up at the crack of dawn to get one of these. The larger pool is in the centre of the building, this doesn't open until 10:30 and you have to queue up from about 10am to get one of the very limited sunbeds. These beds have limited space between them and not a lot of sunshine. The buffet food for the evening meal was cold. We used the Al la cart restaurant which ended up costing us quite a lot of money which was quite annoying as we had paid for half board already! We had booked a superior sea view room....not quite sure what was superior about it. The wardrobe wasn't deep enough to hang long dresses, there was no full length mirror. The bed side lights were hanging off the wall. The shower and sink were separate to the toilet. I have been in larger public toilet cubicles than the toilet we had in this room. The only saving grace was the staff, they were lovely, polite and friendly.

OK, many people will love this hotel...
We did not... The attention to detail was missing; every resort we've been to before knew our drinks order, preferred table, acknowledged us etc by day 3 or 4... this hotel, they did not.
I felt the staff were a bit "meh" at times, room wasn't always cleaned properly; glasses not changed;
The food was variable, much of the meat was fatty, but in their defense, there was a varied range of food on offer. Thought the drinks were expensive.
I've given what I feel are the negatives above, positives, are definitely the location... close enough to town, old town, the beach. It looked like it was probably one of the best in the area without going miles (and I mean MILES) further down the beach away from town.

We adored our stay here! Our room was amazing, with a wrap-around balcony and floor to ceiling window on two sides. We had views of both the beach strip and the port, including the lighthouse. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and the food was truly delicious. We also had dinner at the à la carte restaurant one night, which was fantastic. Overall service at the hotel was top-notch. Room service was great, and we were even able to order a tasty packed lunch for a DIY day hike. We especially loved using the Turkish steam room, the hot tub, and the sauna! The ironing service was good. We appreciated being invited to a VIP welcome reception with complimentary wine. The location was perfect, on the beach as close to the port and old town as possible. The only issue we had was hearing the constant noise of traffic from our room on the top floor. Noise wasn't as loud from lower floors, but then there aren't the views we had, so it's a trade-off.

It was okay. Staff helpful and friendly. Food nice and a wide variety of choice. Drinks very expensive. Room spacious. If staying in a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the pool, do not expect a lay in on a Sunday Morning, as a saxophone player entertains the diners from 8:30AM and this will wake you.
Area where hotel situated very very busy. Unlikely to return.

Placed the perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle of rethymnon, but still on the beach. This is a gem of a hotel. Old town is a picturesque 15min walk away.
We stayed at the end of the season (October) and lucked out with the weather. Private beach, 3x pools and on the all inclusive package, it never failed to impress.
The staff are beyond excellent, attentive, happy and on the ball each day. The food at the buffet was expansive with options and the al a carte simply devine. London quality fine dining with a better view!
Hotel layout is a smart design with the bar separate from sleeping quarters. No disturbed nights, and some of the best sleep I've had in a year.
If you're considering it, do it! Highly recommend the all in package, the value for money, to service is excellent 👍
