IMO, this hotel definitely deserves higher ratings. Good quality for money. Friendly and welcoming staff, good room condition, standard set of food and beverages for this price category. Animation was nice too (we caught a foam party, plus live music in the evening). Beach was also very nice and comfortable (shuttle goes there every 15 minutes, so you don’t have to walk a dusty road last 50 meters, if that bothers you).

After looking at the reviews we were sceptical, and especially as we were originally booked at side crown Serenity but were moved due to the pandemic. However, this hotel is absolutely brilliant and we prefer it to how we imagined serenity! The staff are lovely, very friendly people. The waiter named Oktay is very attentive and helpful, great at keeping conversation and speaks very good English. Although it is a hotel with mainly German and Russian tourists, everyone is friendly and it’s an all round good atmosphere. The water slides are active for 4 hours a day, and are great fun and stable. Like any other hotel, we got up early to reserve sun beds, but even if you don’t you are still likely to find a few as there are 3 pools! With the pandemic, we were worried about the cleanliness before arriving, but the whole hotel is very well looked after and is cleaned regularly and room cleaning every morning. Lovely hotel, can completely see why it’s 5 star, would definitely return again !! :)

Who gave this hotel 5 stars? What do hotel founders and general managers do? I booked a room, paid extra money to get a good room. I went down and was taken to the 1st floor. When I asked what was the matter, they answered that all the rooms are booked. I am very interested in what criteria the sales manager works in the hotel. When a number is reserved, it must be reserved. And you should not reserve the reserved number to anyone else. The cleaner is a very nice woman. But as befits a 5-star hotel, it does not fit. As for the service staff. From the barman to the reception, they try to enter the relationship badly, they look at you badly, defiantly. Both young and old. As for nutrition. Great respect for the cuisine and national dishes of all countries. But when we pay such a large amount, at least a basic egg can be fried deliciously. Drinking is also terrible. All cocktails and beers are mixed with water. Whoever goes, take disposable food. At 11 o'clock the music stops. No fun

Disastrous Experience at Side Crown Sunshine Hotel
I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at the Side Crown Sunshine Hotel during my second visit to Antalya. As a black woman accompanied by my two sisters, our experience at this establishment was nothing short of infuriating. I feel compelled to share my grievances regarding the staff, the food, and the overall service we received during our stay. Allow me to elaborate on the various aspects that contributed to our terrible experience.
To begin with, the staff's attitude towards us was abhorrent. From the moment we arrived, we were met with disapproving glares from both the staff and the residents. It felt as though we were being subjected to a deathly stare, a constant reminder of our perceived otherness. The blatant discrimination we faced tarnished our visit and left us feeling unwelcome and disheartened.
Moreover, the quality of the food served at the hotel was nothing short of appalling. As paying guests, we expected at least a satisfactory dining experience. However, the meals provided were consistently subpar, lacking in taste, variety, and overall quality. This was an unexpected disappointment, as we had hoped to indulge in the local cuisine and enjoy the flavors of the region. Instead, we were left with unsatisfying and uninspired dishes that failed to meet even the most basic standards.
One particular incident that further exacerbated our terrible experience was the hotel manager's mishandling of our scheduled transfer to the Sunshine Garden club. We had agreed on a pick-up time of 10:30 PM and a drop-off time of 2:00 AM, for which we were charged a hefty £120. However, when the designated pick-up time arrived, the driver was nowhere to be seen, and our calls were completely ignored. Left with no other choice, we had to arrange our own transportation back to the hotel via taxi. This breach of trust and lack of professionalism is entirely unacceptable.
As paying customers, we entrusted the hotel to arrange our transportation, and their failure to deliver on this commitment left us feeling stranded and inconvenienced. It is disheartening to witness such a lack of accountability and disregard for their guests' well-being. The hotel's negligence in handling this matter further solidifies our decision never to return and to caution others against staying at Side Crown Sunshine Hotel.
In conclusion, my experience at Side Crown Sunshine Hotel was marred by the staff's discriminatory behavior, the abysmal quality of the food, and the complete disregard for our agreed-upon transportation arrangements. As a black woman visiting Antalya with my sisters, I had hoped for an enjoyable and welcoming stay. Unfortunately, this was far from the reality we faced at this establishment. I strongly advise against staying at Side Crown Sunshine Hotel, as it has proven to be an unpleasant and regrettable experience that I would not wish upon anyone else.
