We had a great stay during our winter break. The hotel is big but its location, nestled to a hill, and clever architecture conceals its mass and gives it a more boutique look and feel (great if like us you don’t like big resorts). Because of its location the views are amazing. The sunset terrace and pool were the highlight for us, so beautiful and so relaxing and quiet, a perfect place to recharge! The staff were very welcoming and attentive, the food was good with lots of options (even for a celiac!) and the rooms very comfortable. Lots to explore in the surrounding area too. We look forward to coming back!

We came here in May last year and honestly, it was amazing! The whole place is so quiet and peaceful – exactly what we were looking for. The grounds are gorgeous, with stunning views and beautifully kept gardens. It feels like you’re in your own little paradise.
The adults-only pool areas were a real highlight for us. They were so calm and relaxing, with plenty of space to just unwind and enjoy the sunshine. It was the perfect spot to switch off and recharge. They had so much space and plenty of loungers so you were never without a cool spot to relax.
We stayed half board, and the food was great! There was loads of variety, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff were lovely too – always friendly and making sure we had everything we needed.
Overall, it was such a relaxing and enjoyable trip. If you’re after somewhere peaceful with beautiful surroundings and great food, I’d 100% recommend Salobre. We’re already thinking about when we can go back!

Golf course is great with three 9 holes across a new and old course, so you can vary along over a few days. I'd suggest going for the twilight session as there is less congestion on the course and lighting/wind is really not a problem.
We also took our two month old, they sorted us with a cot, staff were friendly and made accommodations. All the pools around the resort were great to hang around in too.

Just spent a wonderful 10 days at the Salobre! Total chill with delicious food, comfortable room and helpful friendly staff. Plenty of quiet spaces to relax and pools never too busy. Room and all public areas were very clean. Attended activity classes which were excellent and taken by experienced teachers.
Only suggestion would be to run a shuttle bus in the evening too.
We will be returning for more rest and relaxation!
Can u let me know the name of the house wine, the bottle with sheep in a circle on the front label?

Pros:
Beautiful rooms, great views.
The hotel is fairly large but because of the numerous smaller pools it doesn’t feel that way.
The buffet is really delicious and generous, including high quality meat and fresh fish made to order.
Very fun place to spend NYE incl a fireworks show, dance floor, etc.
Cons:
Front desk is very slow.
We paid extra for a suite with a large balcony (room 746) but the balcony is right above a generator so VERY noisy, didn’t use at all. This will be the case for most balconies.
