A fantastic 5 days for some much needed winter sun! Nothing was too much trouble, the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend having breakfast, a sumptuous buffet with everything you could want and more! We had a room with a jacuzzi which was a real treat. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

If the bathroom amenities and breakfasts were more attuned with the price of the accommodation I would rate this hotel a full 5 star. We had stayed at 3 other Canary islands over 3 weeks with other supposedly 5 star accommodations, but the Radisson Blu was the closest. Really, the quality of the soaps, shampoos, lotions are an integral part of a hotel's ratings. Moreover, the shower was the only one NOT with a half glass curtain requiring you to be a contortionist to prevent flooding the bathroom floor.
The sea view room on the 9th floor was as advertised. The buffet breakfasts were adequate but could offer more variety. A chef in charge of egg orders is always welcome. The freshness of the gluten free breads, however, should be checked more frequently as I had to throw out a past due date bun. Would have liked Blue Cheese on more than a single day. Machine made coffees especially cappuccinos are not very tasty. There should be a barista in charge of specialty coffees. One major sanitary critique is that servers should never put their finger's on the eating portion of forks, knives, spoons. They should also not put their fingers into cups, glasses, and onto plates especially after they have sneezed or coughed into their hands. Have people already forgotten about disease transmission during COVID?
The pool bar was our favourite for lunches and the occasional dinner. Restaurant 222 SW Bar and Grill was a superior restaurant, but its servings could be larger. After all we are on vacation and not fasting. The dinner buffet suffered the same critique as the breakfasts served in the same room. Additionally, the Asian buffet was abysmal. the hotel should hire a Sushi Chef as what we tried to eat bore no resemblance to Japanese sushi nor sashimi. We tried 1 sushi, passed on what was supposedly sashimi and ate western.
Service the backbone of any hotel was exceptional. We had a very late flight home. Both day and night reception worked to allow us major latitude with our check out time allowing us to have 1 final lunch, dinner, and shower before leaving for the airport. This kindness alone would be enough for me to unequivocally endorse this Radisson Blu hotel.

This is the perfect location in the best part of Gran Canaria. And the hotel is superb - huge perfectly comfortable bed, really spacious room, bathroom and balcony. Sun shines on the balcony for most of the day. Staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. With two beaches on either side and attractive beachside restaurants, we had a dream holiday. Will be back next year.

For our seventh and final 2024 holiday we stayed 12 days over Christmas. Firstly, the most comfortable beds we've found in a hotel and on a par with our own back home in the UK. Secondly, the view from our eighth floor balcony was exceptional and so peaceful.
The Christmas evening meal went above and beyond. The immense amount of detailed work put in had to be seen to be appreciated.
The food and friendly personal service was exemplary through out the stay and
the spa and couples massages are strongly recommended.
As a bonus you could, using Bluetooth, connect the large TV to your own device and play your music through the system.
We'll be back, I'm sure!

Great hotel, great location and service that goes above and beyond all expectations. Stayed in family suite.
Only potential downside is that extra bed is on the hard side. Definitely recommend and will do my best to return as soon as possible.
