Reception staff at the hotel were very helpful and spoke fluent Spanish & English. The double room was spacious with a great view of the swimming pool. Although there was a mini fridge they was no tea/ coffee/ biscuit compliments in the bedroom. Apparently only those paying all inclusive were entitled to free drinks. However, the buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of hot food available including various teas and coffees.

A nice hotel that offered a superb value holiday. All clean and tidy, friendly staff. Food a little repetitive and not lots of choice but always something I would eat. Nice pool and bar area. On the beach in 10 mins walk from the hotel.

I’m on the fence with Royal Al-Andalus.
On one hand, the staff are incredibly friendly and proficient in their craft. The hotel is nicely located and essentially a 10 minute walk to the beach and the town center — which is great.
As far as drinking and all inclusive benefits go, the hotel is pretty well stocked with a good selection of local beers, spirits, and other non-alcoholic beverages. I couldn’t find anything to prod a stick at there.
On the other hand, there are several things that just let it down. For starters, the outdated decor and paper-thin walls — they’re reminiscent of a 1970s budget hotel, which doesn’t really reflect the four-star status that the hotel currently upholds. It doesn’t help, either, that there are barely any choices for entertainment outside of a relatively dim lobby bar. And that brings me to my next point: the hotel is practically deserted after the pool bar closes at 7:30pm. After that, you can either choose to sit in the aforementioned lobby bar and sit quietly, or vacate the hotel altogether and go somewhere else for something to do.
The food is hit and miss; it’s 80% fish, with the exception of the odd chicken appetizer or some form of paella. Aside from that, it’s essentially a selection of the basic European dishes, which includes salads, pastas, and fruit. Granted, none of the above items are piping hot on arrival, but I’ve certainly seen and eaten a lot worse.
I wouldn’t go as far as to say that Al-Andalus is a four-star hotel, but for the price, you can’t really complain all that much. If, however, you’re after something with a bit more of a pulse, then you ought to consider staying in another hotel a little closer to the center of Torremolinos.

Stayed here with my husband for 3 nights at the end of October. Hotel was excellent and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Good location as well. A short walk to the beach and main strip. Hoping to come back next year with our 2 boys

Title for this review is "Its OK"
Hotel is OK, good location and WiFi but I'm assuming the hotel has been around for ages and it shows 🤔 Rooms need freshening up but are kept clean daily by the cleaning staff. Room facilities are OK given the age they appear to be although a new TV wouldn't go a miss. We had a balcony over looking pool, looking out to sea and managed to see a bit of a nice sunrise - once...Bet its ace in the summer! Food is OK although you more or less get the same choice each day and the 'hot' breakfast was always cold?? Gym was OK as it had a cable machine. Pool was OK although at this time of year (October) doesn't have the sun on it in all areas all day.
Again I'm assuming that this time of year is quiet time, so there didn't appear to be any entertainment?? This was my first time back at Costa del Sol for some 30 years and I would like to come back but not to this hotel
