Liked the large rooms, both public spaces and bedrooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food on the buffet a bit variable, but always something good to eat. On our deal, very reasonable in price.

Service is terrible.
Food is awful, the worst food I ever had in any hotel in my life.
No AC in the rooms.
Excuses all the time from useless staff.
Money hungry hotel.
Rude service, bad English for a “4 star hotel” I wouldn’t give even 2.

The hotel is centrally located, opp the marina and very close to the beach. We didn't get noise from the bars and the food and drinks were fab. Don't believe the hype on trip advisor as it simply isn't true. The draw back is the pool area, but the beach is opposite. So no drama. The staff try their hardest and are really helpful. The hotel is massive.
If you want 5 star, book a five star,
The hotel is dated in parts but no different to many.

My friend and I stayed at Las Palmeras last month for a short girls holiday. We chose this hotel mainly for its location right next to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Plus breakfast was included. For the price, especially compared to nearby options, it was a great deal.
We were given a room on the 8th floor with a balcony, which gave us a lovely view of the sea, harbour and pool area. However, the hotel itself does feel quite dated, particularly in the hallways and some of the in-room amenities. For example, the hairdryer in our room has definitely seen better days and could use a replacement.
The pool area was a nice spot to relax, but the sunbeds were not the most comfortable. They’re quite basic with no option to adjust the backrest, so lying on them for extended periods wasnt ideal. If you’re looking for a little more comfort poolside, that might be a bit disappointing.
All in all, if you're on a budget and prioritise location and affordability over luxury, this hotel is a solid option. Just keep in mind that it’s a bit outdated and if you don’t mind that, it’s a great spot for an affordable beach holiday.

Stayed here few times over the last 30yrs. Last time was 5yrs ago.
Not 4*, it's a 2* at minimum. Stayed in a double room with terrace. Some carpet areas in hallways were rough and dirty bacuse of the years of use. Looks like never updated. Some wall areas were broken and just painted over with white paint to blend in. Pool was closed and cornered off. I did see people sunbathing by side on chairs. Maybe pool bar could be used in winter mths as be nice sit sun and have drink.
Evening entertainment was 2 games of bingo at 9.30pm before music/singing show at 10pm. Bingo caller spoke 98% in Spanish and rest in English. He said alot jokes and included crowed, it seemed he explained the different game tasks. A group asked him to please repeat in English and he said basic instructions. Excluding jokes and inc English pecking groups.
Buffet breakfast was inc. in price. Was OK enough choice for different items each day. Coffee wasn't good in my opinion. Buffet dinner was very basic with 4 choices of hot meals - 2 pasta dish, pork chops & fish. Had different salad options. Only had water or wine for drinks. No soft drinks or juices. Ate dinner once, paid €15pp. Wasn't impressed.
Area is great for beach and restaurants. Train station 6mins walk. Bus station 5mins walk.
