I would like to express my disappointment of our visit in your hotel.
We are visiting Turkey for the first time on holiday with friends who have been to Turkey several times before. We chose the hotel very carefully and hoped that the Raymar hotel (Manavgat) would meet all our expectations, but when we arrived we immediately encountered some problems: a family of friends with three children could not get a room until they finally got room 107, which did not even have light, a TV didn’t work , and the balcony could not be accessed because of the air-conditioning and the extremely strong noise, and they were told to call the sos, but the phone cable had been cut. The next day the room was changed to 252. Our family room, 510, was very dirty, the toilet was not cleaned, and there was hair everywhere. Hair on the toilet, you could easily see what kind of hair was there. The bottles of shower gel and shampoo was dirty and empty, we have not yet had them replaced, just a big bottle of something... the staff behave as if we owe them, even though we have paid a lot of money for this holiday and keep leaving tips for everybody (except the cleaning lady because we don't even see her, and the room has been dirty for a week now, they barely clean it...) they are not at the workplace, refuse to do drinks etc.. Today morning I wanted to bring soup to my son's room because he is sick and vomiting, but the worker who was standing at the door refused to let me, even though I saw many guests taking food to their rooms. Today my friend's child needed the hotel doctor to examine her because there was an unclear wound, and the doctor didn't even have the most basic salve. Our child is vomiting...we talked to other tourists and they are also vomiting and having diarrhea. All this because even the most elementary cleanliness is not observed. Very dirty dishes, toilets. It would be a great hotel, but you need to work with the staff or change it fundamentally because it serves, cleans, etc. It is definitely not a five-star hotel, I recommend you to look at five-star hotels in Europe and gain experience. We will definitely share this experience in Lithuania about your hotel in public.
We also hope that the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Health, the local municipality, and all responsible institutions will address the serious issues present at this hotel. We request that they initiate all necessary inspections and review the current licenses.

-----DO NOT BOOK! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY-----
I have experienced the five worst days at this hotel and don’t even think it deserves one star—more like zero. We arrived from the airport around 7:00. The hotel’s check-in time is 14:00, as the check-out time is 11:30, and they supposedly ‘clean’ the rooms until 14:00. However, we were already exhausted and couldn’t get a room because everything was fully booked until 14:00. My family and I had to sleep on the public couches, as if this were a normal practice! Approximately 20 families were waiting for rooms, and the lobby was cluttered with luggage. The butler was helpful in carrying our bags, though.
The reception staff was terrible—disrespectful and rude. If I were the manager, they would have been fired on the foot. The food was also dreadful; there wasn’t enough variety, and the restaurant was extremely unhygienic. Long queues formed at the grills. On the tables, they used dirty placemats, which were wiped with a filthy towel to remove crumbs before being placed back. The forks and knives also looked unclean. Unfortunately, all six of us, except for me, suffered from food poisoning.
I STRONGLY ADVICE TO AVOID THE OUTSIDE POOL! There have been rumors that it hasn’t been cleaned for days, and people, including children, have fallen ill. I even witnessed a child urinating in the pool while standing. On a positive note, the beach was amazing—the water warm and clear.
However, our disappointment grew when we finally got our room on the 9th floor. It was depressing and far from clean. There was minimal lighting—only two night table lights—and the windowed door leading to the balcony wouldn’t close properly, causing significant noise from the traffic outside. The room had AC, which was perfect until you see its covered with dust. The bathroom was a total nightmare: the air vent was about to fall off the ceiling, it smelled like a sewer, the sink looked disgusting, and the shower head was broken. We didn’t have enough water pressure to shower, and we were even lacking shampoo until we complained about it. The toilet was also a nightmare, making me consider doing my business in a bucket instead. The rooms weren’t properly cleaned, and the beddings weren’t changed. The janitors were provided with a damp duster instead of a vacuum cleaner, and they used it to ‘pick’ stuff up from the floor.
This building accommodates around 600 rooms with just three elevators across a total of 11 floors. Unfortunately, the elevators are extremely busy, smelly, and always full. Mentioning about the room again, on our way back from the beach around 18:30, we returned to our room to shower, only to find there was no hot water. We had to endure a cold shower with barely enough water until this was fixed 2 hours later!
Frustrated, I went downstairs to the receptionist to complain about all the issues mentioned above. Their response was disheartening: ‘I can give you a different room, but you’ll face the same problems.’ The guy looked at me as if I were talking to a brick wall and later added, ‘You’ll need to discuss these problems with your agency,’ even though it wasn’t their fault that the hot water wasn’t working.
Adding to the disappointment, the hotel charges for its spa services, which is quite unusual for an all-inclusive hotel. Additionally, there’s an indoor pool that remains closed due to the ‘hot weather.’ Frankly, the size of the indoor pool is laughable; they might as well remove it entirely and repurpose the space. Lastly, the hotel’s public toilets are places to avoid—the smell of urine is extreme, and the hygiene is nonexistent.
Outside of this hotel, my first time in Türkiye was absolutely delightful. The beach, land and the people were wonderful, which is why I give the location a 5-star rating. However, if you have this hotel booked or are considering it, please be aware and consider finding a better place for you and your children! I hope this helps!

From the first day I noticed that they are not at all serious and correct with the guests. I had to wait for my room longer than I should have and in the end they put me in a room I didn't ask for. I paid for a sea view room and the staff played games with me. Then the hygiene was not even good in the room and bathrooms, the food is almost always the same. I was just not satisfied and will never come here again

I have never been as much disappointed with a hotel as this time.
This hotel is an absolute nightmare.
I don’t even imagine how can it be a 5stars hotel.
The rooms were so small, old and noisy we couldn’t sleep at night.
The food is terrible and very low quality my family and I couldn’t eat anything at the restaurant because of the dirt and my brother got sick.
We were living a disaster for 5 days and it ruined our holidays. The staff couldn’t even speak in English. If you are looking for a place to relax I recommend you to stay far from this hotel.

I am not sure how this is a 5* hotel. It is not even close to a 2*. Everything here is absolutely shockingly diabolical.
The food is extremely poor, unhygienic staff, including preparing food without the appropriate clothing such as an apron, hair net or clothes. And to top it off, the food is always covered in flies. Unkempt dining tables to sit and eat. Filthy cutleries and plates that has not been washed. And on top of that, some staff have a serious case of body odour. People were constantly complaining of allergic reactions and serious case of diarrhea. Only fruits that is normally readily available is watermelon as the other fruits are normally rotten.
Almost all, if not every single toilet in the hotel is either broken, covered in faeces all the time and the bathroom smell is absolutely suffocating. You have to go back to the room to use the toilets which you can smell the blocked drains.
Poor signage around pool areas, therefore alot of near drowning incidents where the regular staff would just blow their whistle, laugh or pretend not to see. No signs to even say the depth of pool areas especially drops from slides.
The bathroom in the rooms are filled with mould due to wooden floor inside shower and water stains coming through from the other rooms. House cleanings will not change the beds unless you physically remove the sheets and they definitely does not sweep or mop so you have to wear slippers inside the rooms.
Wear and tear equipment for entertainment and on top of that they will charge you to take part in some activities and poor grass has not been watered for months in the heat.
Some nights the staff does not turn up to work so there is no one to serve drinks and staff does not seem to speak any other languages besides Turkish and Russian (which is not an issue but if you are in a so called 5* hotel, basic use of English for communication should not be a factor). Staff will even drink from your drink and smell if you try to correct them and start to laugh.
80% of the guest were Russian, again no issue but their level of rudeness, aggression and unawareness of others seemed to be blind eyed by the staff even when they push and cut lines, even kids.
I honestly can say I have never left reviews on any platforms but this was shocking. I have travelled and stayed in numerous hotels even here in Turkey at least 5 times, in hotels such as Turah Prince World, which was an actual 5* hotel but this is really concerning that they are falsely advertising as a 5* hotel following new management overtake. The health and safety and basic humans rights really put people at risk. I am surprised there have never been any reports of deaths through drowning or even severe food poisoning. They are continuing to advertise themselves as a 5* hotel which I presume was before the closure and reopening. They are clearly using old pictures to advertise.
I would strongly advise, do NOT book this hotel. It is false advertisement. And another incident was where faeces came up through the pool drains a few times and I informed a member of staff and no one came to shut the pool off or even evacuate the children.
Only decent thing here was the kids clubs.
Everything else mediocre, filthy and the smells! Absolutely shocking.
Using IKEA placemats in a hotel instead of table cloth in a so called 5* hotel is something I have not seen ever in my existence of staying in any hotel. Completely unhygienic. Having to ask housekeepers to clean unless tipped, empty bins or even for toilet rolls. The horrendous decor and dark morbid lighting as they are clearly trying to save money but continues extort via false advertisement. I can go on and on.
