This hotel is amazing and timeless . We stayed in a junior suite ( 2 ad & 2ch) which had loads of room for the 4 of us. Included with our junior suite was access to bali beds in a lovely garden area and access to the Gold Lounge with loads of fruit, snacks, tea ,coffee and soft drinks during the day. We stayed on a b&b basis however a buffet dinner was on offer if we chose to eat in. Plenty to see and do. I would recommend this hotel to families. It has catered to some the greatest singers and movie stars of all time.

Have been enjoying Pez Espada for 5 years. It is heartwarming to be welcomed back by the excellent staff who recognise us from earlier visits and we have always found them - table staff, bar staff, reception staff, room cleaners second to none. The only slight downside has been a lowering of the standard and selection of food.

We booked a Junior Suite with frontal sea view. it is located in another building which is connected to the main hotel building.
We arrived a little ahead of the official check-in time, but this was not an issue. All was ready.
The room was spacious and prepared as booked.
All is modern and stylish.
The whirlpool on the balcony is a highlight, although we used it only once.
Very positive, our child got a "welcome" package in the room, including even a simple tablet for drawing on it. For halloween another "surprise" arrived.
So, children are apparently very welcome.
There is a seperate lounge area for the guests of the "Junior Suite Wing". Some drinks and snacks are available most of the day. Alhtough we did not find this lounge very appealing to spend time there.
Staff in general friendly and helpful.
Only downside of this hotel, if you stay in the "Junio Suite Wing", once you go for breakfast you "change worlds". The breakfast area has the style of an efficient canteen. What you can get there is ok, but juices from the automatic machines are a desaster. Some artificial juices, nothing from "real fruits".
Parking the rental car was no issue around the hotel, at least in off season.
For lunch & dinner we visited local restaurants, there are plenty of them. We found the restaurant on the beach, just opposite the hotel, very good and friendly.
In general, we left with mixed emotions, pitty that the style of the "Junior Suite Wing" ends at the door of your room.

Stayed here some 31 years ago - First time back on the Costa so had to check the Pez out. The reception and the hotel entrance doesn't appear to have changed from what I can remember - Still impressive!
Walking round the hotel, facilities look excellent and far better from what I can recall
Would love to stay here again - The apartment rooms on the front look amazing 🤩

Points that let this hotel down, are mainly the staff. Reception staff really miserable and on the whole unhelpful. Restaurant staff very obviously have favoured diners who get served drinks first and a smile.
The swimming pool is a definite no no. It's situated between 2 buildings and 100% on the shade. The water is absolutely freezing. No one swims in there.
Evening entertainment is very poor.
Location, rooms and food all very good indeed
