Had a lovely day by the pool at Pergola Hotel & Spa! It’s a great spot to relax, with both indoor and outdoor pools available. The atmosphere was nice, and I also had lunch there, which was pretty good.
- Pools: Indoor and outdoor pools, both clean and well-maintained.
- Lunch: Great food with a good variety on the menu.
- Views: The outdoor pool area has a nice view, adding to the relaxing vibe.
- Location: Centrally located in Mellieħa, close to shops and attractions.
Would definitely consider going back for another pool day! 🏊♂️☀️

I stayed for a short holiday with my wife, was a lovely hotel great rooms, lots of space in the sea view apartment we opted for. Bathroom is a little tight for me but it is modern and clean.
Our view was second to none.
The breakfast was good. There was a lot on offer and I felt the quality was good.
The facilities are great from the indoor pool, sauna and gym. I've used them all and they're worth the time.
Lastly, the staff were all so lovely, helpful and genuine. Would come back if I visit Malta again. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for 5 days - the staff were lovely and helpful. However, the room had a strange smell to it on arrival, the best way I can describe it is like acetone/nail polish remover. We also had a room overlooking the stairs so there were quite a lot of people walking past the room. We didn't have anywhere to wash/dry our clothes as we didn't have a balcony so just to keep this in mind. There are a few restaurants around which were great. The breakfast had a good variety of food items. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Me and my husband was really enjoying our stay until I was asked to speak to a manager and told I had to pay to get my bed sheets cleaned!!! Unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control ( due to HRT ) I had come on my period in the night . I cleaned the sheets and asked the cleaner to change my bed. 2 days later I received a letter pushed under our room door and told to speak with a manager who wants to charge me . I’m appalled, embarrassed and can’t believe a hotel would ask to pay to get the sheets washed!!

Probably the worst hotel I've stayed in.
As a frequent traveller, I can honestly say I feel incredibly let down by this hotel. It has got such good potential but terrible conviction. We stayed for 4 nights in room 7018 which was facing 'a quiet street' according to the booking, situated directly between the entrance and exit for the underground car park and the hotel reception. On the first night, a Thursday, we were woken up 4am to screeching noises of cars tyres going in and out of the car park, and the noise just continued. The hotel has large, wide corridors, tiled floors and no soundproofing so everything echos all the way round. At 7am, a truck pulled up outside, unloaded and spent the next hour drilling and grinding. We gave it the benefit of the doubt for this first night, not expecting a continuation on the 2nd and into Saturday morning, but it was worse, again with the building work right outside the room. We explained our issue to reception and asked if we could move rooms, to which they simply stated it wasn't their maintenance so they couldn't do anything about it and refused to move our room. Night three we didn't sleep a wink, at 2am trollies were being wheeled through the corridors, people screaming and screeching tyres again. We were finally given a change a room for our final night. The receptionist made me feel like I was lying and made a huge deal about giving us a 'complimentary upgrade', yet when we got our keys, the room was exactly the same size, just faced a tiny outdoor pool which was not used as it was in February and freezing. We could still hear the grinding and drilling echoing through the hotel at 7am, despite the hotel acting oblivious to the noise.
The hotel has a spa, which I personally do not think children should occupy, especially alone. Yet each morning when we wanted a relaxing swim there were unsupervised children running, jumping and screaming in the spa pool. The sauna on two occasions (Sat 15th and Sun 16th) was only 24°C. Which is nothing more than room temperature, despite being advertised as being between 75-85°C - I have a photo of the thermometer.
When checking out we told the receptionist that we were unhappy but she just said 'sorry, you can go now'.
The hotel is in a beautiful location and the beds were comfy but that is all that it has going for it. Any review which states it to be good is clearly someone untravelled or with a very low standard. Pay attention to the reviews which state how noisy this place is and that uncaring the staff are.
