Rooms can be on busy road. Building work in and near hotel. Builders start at 8 a.m.
Room walls are thin. Poor sleep quality.
Very clean. Pleasant staff, apart from reception staff if asking to change room. Be prepared to pay 140 extra for the week, for a non roadside room.
Where do I start! This is a German owned hotel, who's reception staff showed clear hostility towards us. We are well behaved Brits but had to request a room change. We were allocated a room on a busy road, directly facing building work (also part of the hotel). The office person was hostile and we had to pay an extra 140 euro s for the week we then had a room overlooking the pool at the back of the main hotel. It was still noisy, as builders were carrying out maintenance somewhere upstairs, from 8.15 a.m. The walls are PAPER THIN. This meant that we could hear neighbours conversation, TV, etc.
The balcony was completely overlooked, as was the pool, so no privacy and not much sun.
The cleaning staff are excellent, the whole place was spotless. And friendly.
Read the other posts for the indoor pool /5 euro farce. Comical really. The indoor pool is small and chlorine filled.
The hotel entertainment is a piano player 2 nights a week for a couple hours. Thankfully there's a sports bar across the road, also owned by the hotel, but friendly staff this time.
We were too annoyed with our treatment to use the restaurant, so cannot comment on food.
I really don't recommend this hotel.

I had an unforgettable stay at Maritim Antonine Hotel & Spa Malta! From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm welcome and impeccable service made me feel truly special. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and elegantly furnished, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the town. Every detail was carefully thought out to ensure maximum comfort and relaxation. The location was perfect, with easy access to stunning beaches and local attractions. I can’t recommend this hotel enough to anyone seeking a flawless, rejuvenating getaway. I will definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel a lot. Breakfast is extraordinarily, staff was really nice, amazing cocktails in the bar. It was really clean but I’d have appreciated it if the cleaners vacuumed or swept the floor at least once in our room during our 7 day stay. Inside pool facilities are limited and unfortunately the child restrictions after 4 pm are not followed. Nevertheless, the hotel is very much recommended!

Just stayed our first night here and the staff is very friendly and warm. The rooms are overall clean (very important for me) and light with a balcony. The kids loved the indoor swimming pool. Unfortunately no sea view but street view. I hope to change that in the next days for a better view. Will try the spa later this week.
Edit: street view is a bit noisy.
Edit: we went in the evening to reception to talk about the above and the staff member said that all rooms are the same and can’t help us any further.
- the ventilation turns on every morning very early on maximum speed and staff mode. It wakes me up every time.

Top notch service, clean room, comfortable bed, great breakfast with plentiful selection. Above all that you can get a room with a private hot tub for a reasonable price – that is what I did I would highly recommend it for a couple getaway if your partner likes hiking or similar activities – returning to the hotel after an exhausting day and being able to soak in a personal hot tub is fantastic!
