You're not getting too much for your money. The rooms are decent at best, the room doors are sensitive to every movement outside, breakfast is unimaginative and same every day, and the staff is polite but kind of robotic. Pools are pretty good at least

They gave us 2 rooms both had dead views and when we asked to change the room to another they told us our category is B and we can't have another category we accepted. Later we asked to change the room to another and the same category they said we have only one room available which was 2 rooms 336 next to the dead room 440. The viewing was not great but better than 440 when we moved there the bedroom wasn't double two single beds. The assistant manager wasn't friendly enough and for every question went to the back of reception for permission. Never go back to that hotel again.

Had everything we needed. Location was amazing. Loved the close proximity to the Gozo ferry. Food was OK... Lunch and dinner better than breakfast. Yummy desserts! Nice pools, basic rooms. Came for a conference and it fit the need. Would recommend!

Came here as part of an easyjet package holiday, which I'd say ended up being quite a good deal. Can't speak for their normal prices, so take that in mind.
The hotel itself looks very smart (the bits I saw), but there were some oddities in the room (workmans marks, shoddy workmanship) and you could tell the furniture was old and/or cheap. An example of this is that the balcony door could still be opened a bit when locked and that the bed sounded like it was going to fall apart when I leant to one side of it. The water pressure for the shower was also quite poor, and the bath tap seemed to have not been thoroughly cleaned up as small brown mineral particles came out every time it was turned on. My en suite bathroom window also led to the i ternal pipe works which, whilst not a probelfor me, may distract others. Aside from some small things though, the decor around the hotel was interesting and the views were very nice.
The pools on site were pretty good, the indoor one being heated, and a full size one outside which, whilst not heated, was shaped like a fish (also given the time of year I went, it was absolutely empty in the outside pools). One thing to note about the pools: as a brit, I was surprised to find the pool water not only chlorinated but also very salty. Not a knock on them, just something to be aware of. However, the pools are only open between 9am and 6pm (at least while I was there), which doesn't allow for much time in them if you've got other plans for the day. The private beach was quite small, but it would probably be a better get in the warmer months.
I saw a lot of people complaining about the breakfast online, but for the price I paid through easyjet, I thought it was quite a good deal and pretty good as far as breakfast buffets go (except the slices of edam, they made me gag). They keep a few basic bits every day and seem to switch out pastries and a couple of other bits each day. Note that the foods on offer were of low quality, but that's typical of a cheap breakfast buffet. I didn't have the lunch or dinner, so I can't speak for the quality of those.
The staff that I spoke with all seemed friendly enough and were helpful. Cleaners came by each day whilst I was out to change sheets, replace toiletries, and replace any used up tea bags (note that they won't replace what you don't use).
Finally, the reason I give it 3 stars. This is due to there not being anywhere on site to fill up your water bottle. When asked, the staff directed me to go buy some at the bar or buy some at the gift shop. There was a 750ml bottle left in the room upon arrival, but this was not replaced when finished. As such, I ended up filling up from the tap water, which, whilst I don't have an issue with generally, was marked as not drinkable. I had no issues and found it tasted just like the bottle of table water they'd left in my room. In my opinion, somewhere marketing itself as a 4-star hotel should, at the very least, have somewhere that guests can refill their water. There was a tap in the breakfast restaurant, but I was told by staff that I wasn't allowed to fill it up there.
It also has bus and ferry links right on its doorstep, so travel is still pretty easy for those without their own transport.
Overall, I'd say I had quite a good experience at Paradise Bay, albeit not what you'd expect from somewhere marked as 4-star (I did wonder if the 4-star was just thrown into the name without any basis). I'd recommend it if you're looking to explore this part of Malta or can get a good price on a stay here. Just remember to stock up on water before getting there or be prepared to drink the unadvised tap water.

Beautiful hotel right next to the ferry to Goza and small beaches. The view from the hotel is stunning. Rooms are cleaned daily. Hotel is also very clean. The reception area is large and airy as is the restaurant the food is of good standard breakfast either continental or cooked plenty tea coffee and juices as well as wine on tap. The food is tasty and well cooked. Lunch is of a good standard and enough options to accommodate all. The desserts are delicious as is the soups. Dinner is of the same standard. And all food we tried is well seasoned the salad bar is fabulous with plenty of choices.
The food is not bland as stated by a previous feedback.
The reception staff have excellent interpersonal skills and are very accommodating. This also speaks for the cleaning staff and restaurant staff.
They have music in the evening and we thought this was excellent. Mario was my favourite. You also play bingo and karaoke. The pools are well maintained as is the showers and toilets. They is a shop and a hairdresser which comes highly recommended. Bus services run outside of the hotel constantly to get around Malta and can take you to the airport to and from. Taxi are available and reasonable. Internet is good. Plenty sockets in the rooms. Complimentary shower gel soap lotions shower caps shoe shine. A relaxing and lovely experience.
