I stayed there in August 2024 with my partner and daughter for seven nights, and we had an amazing time!
The breakfast buffet was incredible, with a fantastic variety of options every day.
The pool was immaculate and not too crowded.
The location was fantastic for boat rides and gorgeous beaches, and it was just a short distance from the city.

Nice location with bus stop and Gozo ferry in walking distance, restaurant was nice although that’s unfortunately all there is nice to be said about this place.
Rooms are rather dated with constant howling of the wind coming through the doors, hallways with damaged ceilings leaking water into buckets, no potable water for drinking so you’re required to purchase bottled drinking water from the only store nearby which is coincidentally located in the hotel with absurd prices, not to mention they only take card so chuck some surcharges on top of that.
Overall not the best stay, hotel needs to do better.

I highly disagree with this being a 4 star hotel.
The main highlights were housekeeping as they were so kind and gracious, the busstop in front of the door and Cirkewwa ferry terminal being right outside as well.
The room was spacious but very outdated. The bed was hard and the pillows were flat. Some of the bath towels were also old.
The front desk workers were curt and did not think in solutions. Sometimes being downright rude.
The indoor (saltwater) pool could use some updating furniture wise. It was too cold for the outside pool or beach but I gathered from what we could see that this was also the case.
The buffet, which costs €10 for breakfast and €22,50 for lunch or dinner could use some serious work. The food was (mostly) inedible apart from the soups and coleslaw. The salmon pasta gave ocean, whilst the cod was tasteless and dry. Also if you want a packed lunch, make sure to tell them before 8pm sharp.
The water isn’t potable yet they charge exuberant prices for a tiny bottle of water at the vending machine and at the shop conveniently located in the hotel. For regular priced water and soda, take a quick 3 minute walk to Cirkewwa terminal’s vending machine.
All in all, it was okay for the week but we will not be returning if ever we’re in Malta again.

Helpful and friendly staff great clean rooms, kids enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pool also the playground. The shop inside the hotel has everything you need which I loved not having to go out looking for shops. Great breakfast and lunch.

Overall my experience at the paradise Bay resort was a fairly negative one, it’s a good hotel if your hardly there but not if you there all the time.
Breakfast is disgusting doesn’t vary at all, the sausages are frankfurter sausages which were not good, and generally the breakfast buffet was not up to a standard to any other hotel I’ve visited before, even 2/3 star hotels have breakfast than here and this hotel is meant to be a 4 star hotel
The view was ok, however when the ferry was having to use the lower ramp it was very loud and disturbing
The location is in the middle of nowhere it’s the most north point of the island and there is nothing around here, closest big city is around 45 minutes on a bus with the capital being a hour and half away on the bus
Julie the office manager on the other hand was very friendly and helpful however based on the service of the whole stay the staff seemed way to controlled always saying the same thing, I never really saw the staff with a welcoming and happy expression they just seemed far too serious, a resort like this should have more of a welcoming environment
