I don't know how this hotel can call itself 4 star so I'd ignore that for a start. I know you get what you pay for and this is on the lower price scale but I still expect better quality than this, I'm sure similar priced hotels in the area are better value. The hotel looks to have been in decline for the last 20 years with no attention given to its upkeep, pretty much everything you look at looks run down. In our room alone, the shower head holder was falling out of the wall, no bath plug, grubby stained bath, bathrobe hooks on the back of the bathroom door loose, writing on the wall in main room area, sticker stains on balcony sliding doors, balcony sliding door could barely be opened by my wife, curtains hanging off broken rails, no TV remote (you have to pay a deposit for one!!) never seen that before....I didn't bother as the screen on the wall was smaller than my laptop screen... What's the point. So much more to mention throughout the hotel but I won't. The breakfast was the same every morning but adequate I suppose...which is a plus. The staff at reception were helpful without a welcoming smile. The bed was ok, and as we were out most of the time as planned it did a job but I would not recommend it. I really don't want to lay into them but it was poor, it had nothing good going for it. Sorry.

We were very impressed with this hotel, We wasn't expecting too much as the photos and YouTube clips we'd seen didn't really sell the place. When we got there we were very pleasantly surprised, it was clean and a very friendly atmosphere. The rooms are quite large and functional. I would definitely stop there again.

I recently stayed at The Canifor Hotel , a delightful four-star hotel. The staff was welcoming, and my room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a stunning city view. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the rooftop terrace offered breathtaking panoramas. Overall, a fantastic experience that I highly recommend for a comfortable stay!

Highly recommended for a relaxing vacation!

Staying here at the moment first two days toilet flush was that bad wouldn't get rid of waste. reported twice still no better shower wasn't working fixed after reported. towels had dirty marks over them went to house keeping handed them back given evan dirtier towels. had to change 3 times would only leave 1 hand towel for 2 people. kitchen staff and bar staff very pleasant lounge and dining are OK pool area OK rooms very dated furniture in poor condition food basic but nice building going on next door
