Amazing hotel. The animation team and all the staff are so friendly. I came here as a single mum with 2 children aged 5 and 12 and everyone couldn’t have made it more special, the hotel is a good size with everything you need. Everything is in a small space which makes it great for children.
Thank you for making us so welcome ❤️

Do not book this hotel through tour operators. Upon arrival in Turkey, they will simply inform you that this hotel is overbooked and offer a “better” alternative within this hotel chain. However, the so-called "better" option only looks good on paper. In reality, it will be a complete nightmare.
If you find yourself in this situation, send an official complaint immediately about the overbooked hotel.
The level of service, cleanliness, and overall experience provided by this hotel chain is far below expectations. Save yourself the stress and disappointment—do not trust this hotel chain!
Response to the hotel’s reply:
Dear Hotel Management, please review my comment again carefully. I did not state that I stayed at Labranda Alantur Resort. My intention is to warn others about the overbooking issues at your hotel. If anyone experiences this, I urge them to immediately file a claim and request a refund.

This hotel was lovely!! I have just returned from a 10 day stay and had a great time.
The hotel itself is very big including a spa(had an amazing massage) a shop, market, hairdressers and doctor all on site.
The hotel is also on the beach with free sunbeds. There are 2 pools and 2 children’s pools, however water is FREEZING.
The waiters were very friendly. The food was very nice, some things ie the desserts were the same every day but always a variety. Rooms were cleaned and fresh towels every single day. Fridges in restaurant filled with bottles of water so you never need to buy any. I would say the location isn’t great, not much within walking distance, however there is a bus stop across the road into Alanya Centre for 28 Lira (64p) I would definitely recommend

The hotel is in an ideal location, close to Alanya with plenty to do and the hotel itself is set within beautiful grounds, of which are well maintained and clearly cared for.
The hotel is very clean and the food is generally good- typical all inclusive buffet style.
There are three pools to choose from, which is great because it means you can have space to be away from the “noise” of the main pool area. The baby pool near the spa is where we spent most of our time which was lovely and peaceful whilst also being fun for our little boy, due to the two small baby slides.
The beach was lovely and we always managed to get a bed.
We went on a family day out on a pirate ship boat run just round the bay in Alanya, this was a wonderful day out and I highly recommend for families.
- The lifts in the hotel are not ideal at all for families or parties of anymore than two.
- the animation team, unfortunately, were not to a standard that I would have liked; however, I think this is because this hotel is predominantly populated with German and Dutch guests, meaning that as the only British family on the resort, we (as a couple) and our two year old son were very much ignored, not encouraged to join in etc.
- the lady who ran the mini disco and mini club was very lovely and worked hard to entertain children, however unfortunately the rest did not seem at all overly child friendly, which I would expect in a family resort.
- we were there for 10 nights and ate in the main buffet restaurant every night, we were offered/asked for our drink order at the table on two nights only, the rest of the time, you had to get your own drinks, which may be normal for some, but not something we have ever experienced before.
- the waiting staff were always hard at work and clearly very busy, when they did get a moment to interact with you, they were polite and friendly, however generally, there was very limited interaction between waiting staff and guests.
-the rooms were nice, however the decor is outdated and I think they could do with a bit of a re-fresh.
The hotel is beautiful and we had a lovely time as we made it lovely. However, I don’t think this hotel caters to English/British families and had I have known that prior to booking, we would have gone elsewhere.

We booked this hotel because it was a 5 star. It certainly doesnt feel like a 5 star, it may well have everything that ticks the boxes but not the ambiance by any means. Im not actually sure how this hotel ever got 4.7 / 5 out of over 6000 reviews??
The air conditioning in the room wasnt working at night, after complaining to the management they said they had fixed it, but it didnt work properly until the last couple of days when everyone was saying they had complained as well, so its probably turned down to save money. The room was nice and clean and it had a fridge, but no contents. We had a balcony with a sea view, the soundproofing was great but the pillows werent, however we managed to get a good nights sleep. The chamber maid kept coming into our room, in the end I had to shout and wave her away three times before she actually left!
The hotel could do with a good paint up and the staff could do with being taught to be a bit nicer towards the tourists, but it was the end of the season so they had probably had enough. The clientele are mainly of russian origin, being english we only had a handful of other brits in the hotel. Theres a daily activity going on, not that we did any of this as we just sat by the adults only 'silent' swimming pool, albeit there was another client who belted out rap music for the last three afternoons, so we were actually happy to come home at the end of our stay. I do feel that the management should have intervened and stopped this. There were some really good evening outside performers, we werent too keen on the disco nights or hotel entertainment crew.
The grounds are just beautiful with palm trees everywhere set in spacious grounds, it sits on its own private gravel beach so you dont get hassled by the locals, but the gravel doesnt make anyone want to be on there anyway. Theres cats and rabbits running around which was just lovely. There was always plenty of space to put your sun lounger, which were plentiful as well. The food is varied and wide spread, its not great, but its not awful either. The drinks are ok and the wine was nice but obviously its an all inclusive and its all ok.
The hotel a la carte wasnt really worth bothering with, but it was nice to try a different option. The spa was nice, but the staff pester you to come and have massages, they dont have a price list so each person has to sit down at a table and haggle the costs which isnt really 5 star is it?? We had two massages each, but the second massage was much shorter than the first, obviously they were trying to get us to buy the second massage.... The hotel has a hairdresser, but when I asked for a price for redoing my extensions, she actually grabbed my hair and pulled one out of my head without my consent, then she was rude and pulled a face at me as I was walking away, thats pretty much the attitude of most of the staff at this hotel, however the bar staff were nice and remember your drink.
The hotel is a bit away from the town - about 15 mins by taxi. The hotel has a taxi waiting, but its way more expensive and the man was really rude to us for trying to haggle the price. Theres a tunnel underneath the busy road outside to a taxi rank opposite.
