We recently went on a 6-night vacation and stayed at and overall, we felt it was a great value for the price we paid. Here's a detailed breakdown to help other families who might be considering the same destination.
We booked a full package for 6 nights, and for the price, we felt it was a good deal. The room(s) were comfortable and spacious enough for our family of four. The food was good and many verities. There were options for both adults and children. Bar is amazing with more choices for cocktails and other alcoholic drinks.
Activities - Nothing much for children but kids enjoyed in beach , better to come with playing cards , chess etc.. Tennis is there which is good .
From Malaga we took BOLT - which cost us £85 and return we paid £150 which hotel booked. I will suggest its better to book rather than using public transport.
We took full board which is the best thing .. So relax, Spa , food and Booze.

Our stay was really nice. I asked a room for our family on our Anniversary and when we came to the room, we found a compliment - fruits and wine. Thanks for them!
Room is nice, spacious, clean. Territory of hotel is interesting and beautiful. Very good and tasty dinner, drinks are included. Not so rich, but good breakfast. Good staff. Warm pool in October! Kids club - unfortunately, they do not educate or play with kids (in October?), but you can leave them kids for hour or more just for care.
Not so cheap, but good hotel. We would return here again.

The Impressive Playa Granada Hotel has truly been the highlight of my year! Exceptional service, incredible food, and the most relaxing atmosphere made this a trip to remember. The dining experience was second to none, surrounded by beautiful scenery and a stunning golf course. Watching the skilled bar staff craft amazing cocktails added to the perfect vibe. This has been the most peaceful holiday of the year, hands down
If your looking for the perfect location for a relaxing break! This is it!

Impressive, overall it doesn't impress me. Actaully, it is true that the building and gardens are very beautifull and well kept them. You can see the sunset falling over the ocean from its shore. The personnel is always happy and helpful but services are not as they could be. The buffet food is not so good. It is 2 or 3 out of 5 stars. There is a lack of quality related to the food and drinks. It is not impressive. If they improve the all inclusive service (either standard or premium) I would probably recommend it.

Amazing place!
very friendly staff - most of them speak some level of English and they are very friendly and have a warmth in them you wouldn’t find elsewhere! Very hospitable! The only staff who can’t speak in English are a few of the housekeeping staff but we were able to communicate using a translation app so found no issues with this at all
Amazing location - you get the sun right throughout the year. We woke up to go see the sunrise and it was one of the best I’ve seen in my life! The sunsets are magical as well! You need to walk about two minutes from the hotel’s beachfront, towards the left and you’ll catch the best view of the sunrise
Food - amazing choices and they don’t repeat the same food throughout the week for lunch and dinner - they mix up different cuisines for different days.
Other:
We saw some reviews that said the rooms were cold but we found nothing wrong with the heating. We went there during the Christmas week and the heating worked very well!
They had organised many activities for adults and kids during the Christmas period to keep them engaged - this was a great initiative by the hotel!
The Christmas Eve dinner was so nicely organised and pulled off!
The only thing that was ever so slightly upsetting for me was that all three of their pools were closed when we went and the only open one was the indoor pool attached to the spa and you have to pay each time you use it and it’s time capped for 75 minutes. This wasn’t clearly communicated to us when we booked it as we were really looking forward to do quite a bit of swimming in the holiday. We did go for the spa option to swim and also used the Turkish baths and sauna (these were great too!)
They clarified this for us that they close the pools the last fifteen days of the year cause it gets cold for any swimming to be done. We’d like to suggest to keep at least one of the three pools open though, as there were a lot of people in the resort and some of them resorted to go swimming in the beach. It would be good to have an option whether the water is cold or not :)
All in all a great resort with some amazing people working there - always with a smile and always happy to help!
