Our stay was really nice. I asked a room for our family on our Anniversary and when we came to the room, we found a compliment - fruits and wine. Thanks for them!
Room is nice, spacious, clean. Territory of hotel is interesting and beautiful. Very good and tasty dinner, drinks are included. Not so rich, but good breakfast. Good staff. Warm pool in October! Kids club - unfortunately, they do not educate or play with kids (in October?), but you can leave them kids for hour or more just for care.
Not so cheap, but good hotel. We would return here again.

Very good resort in Motril! We decided to travel from Madrid to Motril for the long weekend and chose to get the half-board package.
The resort is very big and there are quite a few things to do. We played tennis (free, but a 10 Euro deposit for equipment), went to a Flamenco show at the theatre, went to the Spa and Wellness centre for the water circuit, and some other animation activities.
The breakfast and lunch buffets were good and they had many options. One night, they had a Halloween themed dinner buffet which was very impressive. Also, they have many gluten free options (You have to fill in a form at reception.)
The only negative was some of the customer service. There was no standard. For example, the chefs on the Friday/Saturday were very nice and helpful, but on Sunday night, they weren't as nice. It was the same with the reception, some receptionists were friendly and helpful, whereas others were not friendly. We expected better service for an International resort.
Despite the service, everything else was good and we would return if possible!

Stayed here for one night. €66 Basic room (bed, tv and bathroom with shower. No decorations, no services such as coffee or tea) so very basic. Payed extra for Breakfast (ok, standard, old school, nothing fancy and Sauna (not impressive at all;( Location and outdoor seating/relaxing areas are great and well maintained. Very natural surroundings that even reminded me to Bali. Overall it did what it had to do yet nothing extra. Only the location, the coffee bar at the entrance 😇 and gardens 💚deserve the name “Impressive”

The best hotel that we have ever been to! Animators are full of positive energy, really helpful service, lots of atractions and the view is amazing. Every day there is a different cuisine at the dinner which we really have apreciated. At the beach you can relax and read a book in a peacefull atmosphere. We loved so many shows that gave such a talented artists every evening at the theatre. We can recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to spend unforgettable vacations with a beautiful sunny weather.

The most disappointing end to a brilliant honeymoon despite being regular customers.
The impressive hotel in Plays Granada had become our favourite place to holiday. We had previously been 4 times in the last 18 months alone. To include when we initially did our wedding vows on a beach nearby.
Therefore it made total sense to finish our two week honeymoon here.
It was a finale to our trip we were looking forward to having travelled all the way from Lisbon.
We have been overwhelmed by how kind and lovely people have been in the other 6 places we have stayed on our trip. And as regular guests we had hoped The impressive hotel might be the warmest reception.
However upon reaching the hotel:
- Allocated a much cheaper room without a seaview - despite paying for a higher priced room.
- Absolutely no friendliness let alone acknowledgement of this being a honeymoon, despite subsequent messages prior to arrival.
- Begrudged response and sniggering from new reception staff when we enquired about our room not being what we had booked. Making us feel unwelcome and humiliated. Absolutely no apology
Other hotels have not only been warm and friendly but have even gone so far as to send sparkling wine, left a card with congratulations - this is above and beyond anything we would expect at all. But friendliness feels like the very least, especially as regular customers who frequently recommend the hotel to other friends and family who have stayed here and are also now regular guests of the hotel we weren't greeted with the same welcoming reception that we had previously experienced at the hotel.
We feel completely flat and disappointed by our return to the hotel. A finale to our once in a lifetime honeymoon trip that we have been really looking forward to and excited about through our two weeks of travelling.
Currently we feel very reluctant that we will return and frustrated to have this experience mark the end of what had otherwise been a thoroughly enjoyable trip.
