Lovely hotel, very reasonable and brilliant staff. Room cleaned every day and the indoor pool is brilliant. I had a fab massage on my last day . Food not much to my liking as a vegan but maybe I could have asked. As such an excellent position this hardly mattered as don't really do breakfast much anyway. So close to the bus station and other amenities. I hired a car as well and parked every day just opposite. Will be back! Thanks for everything guys!

We've just had a stay at hotel Santana & had a lovely time. We travelled as a family of Four & stayed in a family room. (2 adults & 2 teenage girls) I was dubious about our stay before we came as has very mixed reviews but I'm very glad we chose this hotel as a quick getaway. The staff are a real credit to this hotel , the hotel is a big one so I've encountered a lot of staff members during my stay & every single one of them has been friendly & helpful. We are all more than happy with our room , nice balcony , air con works very well which is hard to find & we find the rooms pretty soundproof given it's in a busy area. Facilities at the hotel are very good & we found it very well organised in all areas. We had breakfast on booking which we also found very good, lots of choices & replenished by staff very regularly. There is something for everyone & we have a fussy eater in the group. You are not rushed & the choices are great in my opinion. This hotel is in a prime location & I'd definitely recommend it , As a family we've stayed in Malta before at 5 star places in St Julian's but we've all said we'd prefer to come back here if we do as they make you feel so welcome. Overall, a brilliant stay at Hotel Santana. Thank you for a great stay

Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel. Decent dining area, which serviced a good breakfast. My room on the 6th floor certainly didn't look like the pictures i had seen online, it was old, it was tired, dated, and not particularly clean. The room two doors down at the end of the corridor had a major leak coming down from the ceiling and the corridor and my room smelt of damp because of this.

Luckily Enough it was only for one night.It is regrettable that during my stay, I encountered several inconveniences.Starting with, the air conditioning unit in my room was malfunctioning, and the bed provided was two singles instead of the requested double bed. Besides squeeking noise.Additionally, the access card issued to me did not grant access to my room, necessitating the help from the cleaning department to open my room. Furthermore, despite booking two rooms together, my friends and I were assigned rooms on different floors, causing unnecessary inconvenience,also,the toilet flushing mechanism was also found to be faulty, requiring excessive effort to operate.Lastly not to mention the bad smell from the waiter during breakfast. Won't be my choise next time. The only positive review, I can give is the location and the cleaniness of the room.

I think for a 4-star hotel, it was definitely a big miss for myself and my family. 4-stars is definitely too generous and here’s why: 1. The rooms are alright. We were initially offered a corner room by the end of the hotel, which was horrible for a light sleeper like me. I barely slept the first night because I could hear the construction in the building next door! As well as the footsteps in the corridor due to the bed being right next to the door. 2. After the first night, I asked for a room change, which was met with a bit of hesitance but was helped with. Although the new room was bigger, there was another issue. 3. When showering, the water would leak through and cover the bathroom in water. We had to call the reception twice to ask them to clean it. In the end they placed towels on the floor, which they changed daily. Although I appreciate the cleaners effort, it’s simply awful that we are paying for a stay in a place and they can’t even fix the shower! 4. The cleaning could definitely be better. Despite the cleaner being friendly, the room cleaning service was mediocre. There were hairs on the floor and I was given a used towel - it smelt horrific. The only good thing was the breakfast buffet and the lovely staff working there. They were prompt in removing the dishes and cups, and were very friendly. Overall, it’s definitely not worthy of 4-stars and it's not a place we will be returning to.
