We like the hotel but the main reason we booked it was for the pool, only to find out on arrival that it's out of order for maintenance. Had we have known, we would have chosen another hotel and come here another time. Very disappointing not communicating this with guests prior to arrival as even on Google maps and reviews the pool is one of the main selling points. Been a bit unlucky with this holiday, even the restaurant we wanted to visit burnt down a few days ago...
Staff have been very kind and curteous however and it is very child friendly.

Very mixed reviews about this hotel. Overall, we stayed in 4 hotels in Spain throughout our holiday, all 4 stars, and this one was by far the most expensive and the lowest quality of experience.
Positives: A lovely lady checking us out, great breakfast, perfect location and one of the wider parking garages. Room is nicely decorated besides the bathroom.
Negatives:
- Air conditioning was not working - heating was turned on and we could not turn it off in any way. Our room was 34 degrees Celsius in the night!
- Very rude lady who was literally shouting at us because we asked for help to have the ramp open in the parking garage, telling me I was pressing the wrong buttons to call the reception, while at the same time the one she instructed me to use was actually broken and not working (we later saw the technician work on fixing it). Caused a lot of stress during arrival.
- Bathroom is not even for a 3-star hotel. It is old, doors are worn out, there was random hair in the sinks and the bathtub, everything looked bad.

Staying in ILUNION Hotel was pretty unique experience. Touché, It didn’t reach our expectations.
At the start was all smooth, we arrived and got pretty fast a room but we had no time to check it all out because we were hungry after flight.
So once we arrived back we noticed that bathroom was poorly cleaned, bath was in someone‘s else hair, on top curly one, which left us with some kind of background thought. Then towels had some weird black substance on it. Well, that made our evening exciting - cleaning.
In the morning we came to reception, and the worker took a notice of our complaint but he looked pretty frightened. We are not evil, we requested better clean-up in the kind way with some smile and cheer up mood that it’s okay and we are not mad.
Anyway, all another days went fine, even that the cleaning was still pretty poor made. You can notice dust and dirty walls around, but thank God we were often/whole day outside.
Conditioning is poor in rooms, take a notice. If you open the window, some insects will jump in, so it’s pretty dangerous.
Well, pre-last day and last day were offensive. First, breakfast serving - the juice was out of date, which could cause a certain bad condition to people with weak stomachs and not only. It’s worsened my wife‘s day, just full day of being poisoned.
And the last day, when we had a flight, we went to checkout and eat breakfast. No one informed us that buffet opens later at the weekend. With puzzled looks on our faces we requested at least for some small snack, bananas perhaps???? because we paid for this day- buffet 36€ , the receptionist said -„ you go and ask yourself“
Well done, service. So your main job is to please a guest and find solution, so your doings are „nah, you do“
I would say, that the person behind the desk in any other hotel would already try to find some solution, like make a tea/coffee for the road and small snack, like croissant, apple and banana.
But no, a little bit complaining helped us to move him to bring us at least bananas. At the same time his colleagues just did a small chat on another side about their life not even trying to help to solve it.
At the end, for this kind of service we requested money for breakfast back which we didn’t received. And we got a lot offensive comments on the phone, toxic behavior and absolut 0 way to find a solution to solve this conflict.
We won’t recommend this hotel, we left with a bitter taste and lack of compassion from workers of this place.

Nice hotel very good value for money and the rooms are very nice too. Location isn’t too bad because you are a 10 min walk from the port area. Which is also close to the main town. Haven’t the pool or spa yet. But generally impressed and at £90 a night you can’t really argue with that

Nice hotel on a good location. It is fairly close to the city centre with shops and parking around. Lobby is pretty good and generally has good staff. 2 areas that require improvement though -
1. Mattresses are quite bad as you could feel the springs in them which doesn’t let you sleep well.
2. The swimming pool has 1 changing room for men and women. I find this quite inappropriate.
