Nice hotel on a good location. It is fairly close to the city centre with shops and parking around. Lobby is pretty good and generally has good staff. 2 areas that require improvement though -
1. Mattresses are quite bad as you could feel the springs in them which doesn’t let you sleep well.
2. The swimming pool has 1 changing room for men and women. I find this quite inappropriate.

Stayed for the weekend, the adapted room is big and have enough space to manoeuvre with my powerchair. The wheel in show is big and plenty of space to manoeuvre. I have to say the sink should be bigger, at least so you can have space for your toiletries. As a whhelchair user the shower flexible should be flexible not rigid. It was a little difficult for me and i have full grip just imagine others with limited movement on their arms. Apart from that, everything was great had a fantastic weekend. : )

Great location with a nice view of the ocean. Rooms were clean. Front desk seemed to cater to certain people only. Last day we requested late check out was approved. We showed back up to hotel and the cleaning staff were already halfway thru stripping down room. Gave us attitude and left. We were uncomfortable after that not wanting to use f ilities as it was cleaned for next patron. Ended up leaving to airport early. Very disappointing for our last day in Spain to end this way.

I have experienced a joyful stay in the illunion hotel in Madrid, and after visiting Malaga and staying in Malaga's branch, my experience even got better.
We accomodate during the Malaga strom in illunion. First of all, they have noticed that everyone beofre going out to be careful and even give advice not to go out.
They handled the crisis very well and as we were in cafe teria they sent us to our room because of some technical problem and served the food ASAP for us in the room.
The whole time, the staff was very calm and did good teamwork. I could see how stressful it was to manage it, and they handled it very well.
There are a lot of options in the breakfast from local to continental. Even for vegan or Muslims, they are good find.
The pool and spa area is very clean and calm and good for relaxing even in stormy days.
We asked for a toddler bed upfront, and there was already in our room. Our girl loved to sleep in it.
The food in cafe teria or the coffees are tasteful and deliciouse.
Noteably they do have cooperation with dysfunction people,support, and employment, i think. And that is very valuable.
Illunion chain hotel will be my first choice whenever we want to travel to Spain.
Here, i would like to thank the management, reception, technical, and hosting staff for providing us a joyful, calm stay in Malaga.

Good breakfast. Nice outdoor seating. To be a great breakfast you would need: A few more juice choices, pancakes, waffles.
Location was nice related to the bus station. Pool was in shadow which was great for really sunny days. A 15-20 min. walk to SoHo and the old town.
Missing showers by the pool/spa area.
