Excellent hotel. You have to go preferred club though to get this. Great breakfast buffet in the morning as well as a room of food available for preferred club members throughout the day. Only breakfast buffet where I have been offered more than 3 pieces of bacon!
Room was very comfortable. Huge TV and fantastic shower. Only issue I had was the walls are a bit thin and could hear the TV from next door one night. Think it was an old couple who were a bit deaf.
The spa and sauna was very good. Steam room is spacious and perfect temperature. Well worth getting unlimited access pass for.
Great swimming pools and service by the pool.
Didn't eat at the restaurants as there is plenty of places nearby within walking distance.
Bus stop for excursions is very close too which is convenient.
We stayed over Xmas and there was lots of entertainment put on for kids so good place to go if you have little ones.

We had a lovely time. Staff very friendly, very nice food great for kids and grown ups (pizzas were awesome!) pool was lovely. It was a shame the jacuzzi was closed all week and the sandpit and a few other bits needed love. Location is good but not if you have any mobility issues just because shops are down a hill into town.
Recommend!

We stayed at Dreams, Playa Blanca during January 25 in a Preferred Club Ocean View room, bed and breakfast. In summary, we enjoyed it so much we rebooked for next year whilst we were still there which enabled us to check all room views etc.
Check In was smooth and welcoming with a glass of Cava and a nice cool flannel. We were shown to our room and the luggage was taken for us. Features of the room explained
The room was very spacious with a massive, comfortable bed furnished with crisp white sheets and a choice of pillows. The mini bar fridge had a couple of beers, water and soft drinks which got replenished daily as part of the room cost. The same applied to the capsule coffee machine.
The bathroom has an excellent walk in shower and a good supply of large, good quality towels and a couple of bathrobes. We could have managed without the scales as we ate so well whilst there we didn’t want to know. The shower made an interesting whining noise when in use but not a problem really.
Daily cleaning and bed making was spot on. Everything always seemed fresh.
The private patio with table and chairs had a sea view and really caught the sun in the afternoon. I have to say the security on the patio door was only a small hook which seemed a little inadequate though there is a safe included in the room.
Breakfast in the Preferred Club breakfast room was near perfect for us. We were shown to a table, served coffee and juice and served ourselves from the vast array of food on offer. Fruits, pastries, cheese, meats, cereals, fresh crepes, freshly cooked omelette, eggs and bacon - the list goes on. Just avoid the baked beans which were low quality. Everything else was great.
We didn’t eat main meals at the hotel because we enjoy finding local restaurants.
Outside the grounds are well kept and clean. There are several heated pools with a couple reserved for the Preferred Club and have Balinese beds for hire at extra cost. All other sunbeds and beach towels are included. We tended to use The Sugar Reef pool as it was quieter than the others. All the pools have a view off the sea except the kids pool with slides.
I’m told there’s a gym but being a confirmed gym dodger I can’t comment.
There's a spa which we never got round to using, maybe next time.
I’ve seen discussions as to whether the hotel is really 5 star or 4 star but I don’t really care, it matched the descriptions and we had a great time there.
The staff everywhere in the hotel were friendly, charming, helpful and well presented. They really made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They really seem to understand customer service. Everyone was great but a special mention goes to Martha who checked us in and arranged for a complimentary Balinese bed for a day.

A beautiful hotel with professional, courteous and attentive staff.
We received a very warm welcome from the start. The hotel is spotlessly clean and even smelled delightful. The gardens and pool areas were maintained to a very high standard.
We would highly recommend the preferred option to take advantage of the better facilities and perks.
The spa is a great addition and reasonably priced for the aqua circuit.
Breakfast in the preferred area was exceptional with a huge choice from the usual cooked items, fresh fruits and continental options. Well worth the upgrade.

Happy with room, bar facilities, location, pools etc. Kids pools particularly good with attentive guard (even when parents around). Al la cart restaurants vary from OK to disappointing. One night a dry burger and bun with no relish at all was sent back as cold and the replacement was cold as well. The food in the buffet was consistently good so we ate there despite having access to ALC with our all-inclusive package. Would happily go back.
