We have been here quite a few times to visit Corralejo and the (at times) good price and nice seaview over wild ocean and as we find good beds (quite hard) balance the pretty old and partly broken building, the old school and basic rooms (broken doors, lights, chairs).
We booked a seaview as always and were given the most terrible room eventhough the Hotel knew we have a little child and a long trip. The room was next to reception, the bar and the parking lot!! Noise and people on each window side. We really got no sleep. The doors are like paper and old and if you live downstairs it is impossible to sleep. Awake every 20 minutes.
The custumer Service could not help us as they were fully booked. We saw many empty rooms though even through the first night/day... Then we actually got told that we were allowed to check in at 15:00 instead of 17:00 so we were given a big favour and should accept the situation or leave...(Never been to any Hotel in the world with such a late Check in but ok)
Is this how you speak to your guests though? Because of an "early" check in you should not complain about anything?!
We did not feel real sympathy for our situation from the staff. No apology for renting us this room in the first place. After plenty of discussion and hours passing by at the end we got a refund for 2 of the 3 nights at least.
We went through booking.com and canceled the rest of the stay trying to find something else so we dont end up on the street. It took a while but we found a much nicer Hotel for almost the same price.
The point of my review though is not how the staff dealt with us but that rooms like this are actually getting sold for 85€ and up. The basic need of privacy and sleep should be given at least! Very sad though, will not return.

Basic self catering hotel. We had a lovely sea view room 308, with the late afternoon sun and sunsets were lovely. The only draw back was, we didn't get our towels changed for 5 days. Happy to make our own bed, but every 2 days would have been better for fresh towels. We would book here again.

Perfect example of you get what you pay for!
Room was ok, although in need of some tlc. Taped up electric cables sticking out of the wall in the living area. Stayed for 2 weeks and on day 5 had to request clean towels. Day 10 and still no maid service so had to request change of bedding twice at reception.
Arrived gone 9pm and shop on site was closed. Not even a bottle of water in the fridge. After a 30 minute walk in search of an open shop, we gave up. Asked at the bar and they sold bottled water! Why didn't reception tell us when we asked?
No air con, not even a fan.
Positive was the location of the apartments. Small beach opposite and lovely sea view from balcony. Only a short walk or taxi into Corallejo town centre. Fantastic restaurants, bars, cafés and shops and lovely vibe!
All in all, would recommend Corralejo but would maybe try somewhere else to stay 😉

Only be here for a day so I will review it more in 10 day, 3 euros a pint at the bar and a good very cold pint. We would of liked a 2nd floor room but they said they were full. Everything looks OK for now. Avoid the ground floors apartments because you will have no privacy.

I had a delightful time at this hotel with my family. It was my first time in fuereventura and I'm happy that I was able to spend my time at this hotel. The rooms were clean and fully equipped with necessities, all of the staff were super helpful and friendly and Bryan made sure we had everything we needed. I also really liked that there was a bar and a shop on site which was really convenient. I did not have a negative experience and I am looking forward to staying here again next year :) thanks.
