We stayed here in August last year. On our first night another couple entered our room despite the door being locked. It’s clear the locks could be overridden if you had a room card which was slightly concerning. A physical deadbolt would’ve been preferred.
Although it was a mistake by the reception staff (they accidentally gave out the same room twice) it was very difficult for us to speak to the manager about this issue. It took 3 attempts turning up at the front desk over two days to speak with them and the apology seemed very forced. Overall it left us feeling quite uneasy for the rest of our stay.
The hotel is situated in a nice area and the view from the pool was beautiful. However our room itself was situated across the road so it felt very disconnected and very much like we were staying in a block of holiday flats and not a hotel. The rooms themselves were acceptable, however they lacked storage space for your clothes and didn’t seem the cleanest with some floor staining easily visible.

Good location of the hotel, staff is very friendly and helpful. We had been upgraded to a sea view room and the view was everything!!! Breakfast is amazing, really good and various choice of food. The rooms are small with limited storage space (there are no drawers for example). A small renovation may be needed as the mirror in the bathroom was a bit rusty. The ventilator in the bathroom was not working (or there wasn’t any, I’m not sure) and it was a bit uncomfortable after a shower.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my 14yr old daughter and had a lovely time. We were delighted on arrival to find we had been upgraded to a sea view room and what a view it was! The room itself wasn't massive but was clean and had all the facilities we needed including a handy fridge. We stayed Half board and were so glad we did. Food was lovely with plenty of choice and the ability to choose a dish for it to be then freshly cooked for you on the grill was nice. Definitely some of the best food we've had in a half board/all inclusive type hotel. The selling point of this hotel though is definitely the pool area and it's views over the sea. Even sat near the rear of the pool area you can still get side views of the sea, very relaxing. Sitting between Cala Bona and Cala Millor the hotel is perfectly placed to have plenty to explore when you head out (and we felt perfectly safe just the two of us in both resorts). Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Loved staying in this hotel, amazing location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My daughter has a nut allergy, and the restaurant staff made sure they advised her what she could and could not eat. I definitely recommend this hotel. The views are so beautiful. Lots of shops and restaurants in the surrounding area.

Just had a great week at Atolon. Very clean and great staff. Could be quicker clearing away used crockery at dinner. We were eating dessert still with starter and mains plates still on our table. Food is absolutely first class. However as mentioned in other reviews, always COLD for some reason. Such a let down. I'd advise having food straight off the plancha.
Pool area is fabulous, facing straight out to sea.
No bar area inside hotel but loads of bars nearby. Location also fabulous, just to one side of Cala Bona and minutes walk to Calla Millor.
