We recently stayed at Bluesea Don Jaime in Cala Millor and had a generally pleasant experience, with a few points to be aware of.
The positives:
The staff were absolutely lovely – always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel is in a stunning location, just a 5-minute walk from the beautiful beach, which quickly became our go-to spot. The area is also surrounded by plenty of lovely shops, cafes, and restaurants, which made exploring and dining out very enjoyable.
Our room was clean and well-kept, which gave us peace of mind, especially with a young child.
Things to keep in mind:
The swimming pool was shockingly cold. We only managed to go in twice for about 10 minutes, as our 14-month-old baby's lips turned blue from the temperature. Because of that, we preferred the beach, where the sea was much warmer and far more suitable for little ones.
The food at the hotel was edible but very repetitive, with little variation day to day. As a result, we ended up eating out quite a lot, which thankfully wasn't a problem given the great local dining options nearby.
The evening entertainment wasn’t really to our taste, but it seemed to be well organised and would probably appeal to people who enjoy that sort of thing.
Overall:
Bluesea Don Jaime is a clean, friendly hotel in a beautiful and convenient location. If you're happy to eat out a fair bit and prefer the beach over the pool, it's a solid choice – especially for families looking to explore Cala Millor.

We love this hotel. You get what you pay for. Rooms are clean, hotel is clean. Always plenty of variety at meal times to find something you like. Lacks entertainment but you are so close to so many bars its not an issue for us. Staff are hard working, friendly and always happy. Relaxed atmosphere. We return annually and will continue to do so

Food was shocking.
Charge and deposit for towels.
Deposit for cups.
Patio doors didnt lock.
Safe you pay for.
Someone tried to get into our room, tried to call reception, phone wasn't connected. They were surprised when we said we weren't on holiday with someone who does not speak the same language.
You hear when everyone in their room flushes the toilet or goes in the shower.
There were chunks missing out of the bathroom. Tiles missing on the balcony.
The cleaners asked us if we actually wanted our room to be cleaned.
Fire alarm went off, took 45 minutes to turn it off, no urgency from staff and no one came to tell us not to worry.
Aircon leaking. In multiple rooms.
Black mould in the pool.
Sun loungers broken.
Entertainment is not every night.
Best part of this holiday? - the journey home!
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

You get what you pay for, 3 star... Defo wasn't a 3 star, I'd say 2 star at best, the room was very basic, 2 beds and a bathroom, 1 small closet, table with Lamp and TV, no tea making facilities. We had to hire a mini fridge which was €50 for the week. The room had Aircon which was good. We had room 505 and we had a massive balcony but it had no shelter, so we couldn't use it when it was raining. The bathroom was very badly maintained, the grouting around the bath and tiles was shocking, no lock on the bathroom door. The room door didn't lock, so we had the maid walk in on us a few times, they knock once and then walk in. The restaurant was very clean but the food choice was non existent, 8 choices and that is shocking for all-inclusive, mainly fish and veg, we ate out most days as the selection was not to our liking. The pool is tiny and not many sunbeds available and by 8am they were all taken with towels, some remained unused for hours. The small bar was ok, they did nice slushes but the alcoholic drinks were definitely watered down and you have to pay €1 for a plastic cup, which you do get back when you return the cup. We ventured out every night as there was no entertainment, 1st 2 nights there was, a guy with a 360 camera where you could film yourself for 60 secs and the 2nd night was a lady singer/dancer but we never saw any entertainment after that. They didn't have any music playing or anything. They have 2 lifts, which are dangerous, as the doors close with force and do not stop if something is in the way, twice I had the doors slam shut on me, causing bruising to my arms and it also happened to my husband. The staff aren't very accommodating and there majority of the guests are German, which we found were very rude. The hotel is only 5 min walk to the beach and the front for all the bars and restaurants (so many to choose from)
So from my opinion, I would not recommend this hotel, unless you like basic and plan to go self catering.

Lovely staff on the reception we arrived late so the staff on reception opened up so we could have something to eat.The food what can i say everyday was excellent food hot and plenty of choices staff work very hard and friendly. we had an apartment over the road from the hotel loved it. Plenty of room. Kitchen area was good to have fridge, microwave, cutlery, plates, pans you do need a kettle though. Staff serving the drinks very nice, you need to be quick for a sunbed. Clean towels daily beds made cleaners so nice. Nothing much for young children. Having the beach down the road is a bonus.. Overall very good holiday.
