I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. In particular, the guest experience manager, Samantha, truly stood out. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made all the difference. She ensured every aspect of our stay was perfect, and her team clearly reflects her high standards.
The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking—waking up to such a stunning panorama was a treat in itself. Whether it was the serene ocean, or lush greenery (depending on your room choice), the scenery alone is worth a visit.
The food was another highlight. Every meal was a culinary delight, with a menu that showcased both local flavors and international favorites. The chefs clearly take great pride in their work, and it shows in every bite.
Overall, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of excellent service, led by Samantha, incredible views, and outstanding cuisine made this a stay I’ll never forget. I can’t wait to return!

We had an excellent 3 night stay (Half board). Rooms were modern, clean, spacious & well maintained. Bed big & comfortable. Breakfast was very good with 2 restaurants to choose from. Evening meal options were very good with lots of choice. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel provided a lovely welcome gift in our room for the anniversary we were celebrating which was a lovely gesture. Highly recommended, can’t wait to go back.

Love this hotel. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We stay in the Leiro suites and we loved it! We also used the spa which was great and we like it so much that we end up booking a spa circuit for another occasion.
The biggest surprise for us was the Arara restaurant, what a little gem! I don’t understand how that restaurant is not fully packed! We loved the food in there.
The only thing and is so minor , is that we did not like as much the Leiro breakfast in the infinity bar, it felt like it lack on hot food selection and we actually missed a normal good quality old school buffet.
That said, this hotel is excellent and we would love to be back for a little scape.

A mixed bag I'm afraid with this hotel. Firstly, the room was excellent (we received an upgrade), and the general feel of the hotel is lovely. Great gym facilities and the Med pool area is lovely. Great breakfast on offer as well. However, the same music play list plays throughout the day and evening at the pool area. Its not a long play list so is constantly repeated and after a day or two becomes pretty irritating, and to be honest after a week I was sick listening to it. We had the half board option and whilst I can't fault the food in the Med restaurant, the service was poor. It was clear they were always understaffed and the staff were constantly running about like headless chickens, and I genuinely mean some of them were running. It was actually quite a stressful environment to try and relax in and detracted from what should have been a pleasant, relaxing experience. It was constantly difficult to attract a staff member to order drinks, and on a few occasions the drinks orders were messed up. On a couple of nights we had only had a starter after sitting for more than an hour. The staff at the restaurant were pleasant and apologetic but they were totally stressed. It got to the stage that despite having half board, on the last night we decided not to eat in the hotel and ended up going out for food.
As I've said, the restaurant staff were generally pleasant however front of house not so. I'm not sure why, but I got the general feeling that you were always an inconvenience when asking them anything, and on checking out we weren't asked if we enjoyed our stay, it was just simply pay the bill and go.
The location is what it is, you should know before you go that it's up a very steep hill, however the shuttle bus was good.
Unfortunately, overall a nice looking hotel and decent food doesn't make it 5 star and I'm afraid there is a lot to improve on.

Amazing hotel, the Spa, rooms, amazing detail and design elements. It was so tastefully set up. Good choice of restaurants and bars throughout the huge property including a beach club area. Outstanding service quality.
Sure to come back again.
